other:

her left hand seems to be healing from a broken bone. she's wearing a black, fingerless, pressurized glove on it.

personality:
nonchalant, sleepy. she is callous and disrespectful to almost everyone who holds no position of power over her, usually saying whatever's on her mind in spite of the other person's feelings. her attitude might suggest she's disinterested in most happenings, but it's hard to be sure if that's really the case, since she also asks a lot of questions. she can be very polite if she thinks it will benefit her, but even when preforming a facade of respectability, she tries not to employ actual kindness or empathy, always preferring to be straightforward and honest whenever possible.

bio:
from a young age, she was assumed to have a great potential, being the product of two very sucessful familylines. her parents, though never doing anything especially noteworthy, made respectable contributions to their respective fields of study. their daughter, however, was something else entirely. as soon as she learned to type, she was working to understand the software on which the technology she loved ran, how it worked, how it could be altered, and how it could be made. she spent almost every bit of her freetime as a child releasing updates, alterations, and rereleases of existing work, making sort of a name for herself on the internet, under the username 'softlock'. it wasn't until she turned twelve and released her piece of completely self-made software 'maria', however, did her popularity really skyrocket.

almost overnight, 'maria' made it's way into the public eye, and subsquently, so did 'softlock'. news organizations scrambled to find just who 'softlock' really was, and who they found was almost as news worthy as the software itself. the world was shocked to find a twelve year old girl had been behind some of the most revolutionary software to be released in decades, and for her contributions, sachi was thrust into the public eye. sachi detested all the attention - she was socially awkward and had no idea how to deal with any of it. her parents, however, lapped it all up. her parents dropped their own jobs to support her budding fame, somehow becoming her own personal publicizer's, much to her chargrin. after her debut, she would only continued to release new, noteable work, so inevitably, she ended up at hope's peak, even despite never having attended a public or private school before.
