Saavi Rohano

"One day... One day I'll get to watch the same hope that made your eyes bright with desire blow out. The same snarky words of yours stop leaving that ugly mouth of yours. The same fight that whirled around in that body of yours, the dreams you had, the hope you held onto so desperately... It'll all be gone as you get down on those knees of yours and bow down to me- the very person you fought so hard against to get rid of. And my darling, I'll enjoy every... fucking... second. Because at that point? It means I own you."

This is usually what she'll wear when she's walking around the lands, talking with the merchants among other things.

Personality/Ideals:

.

Saavi is probably one of your average women that you come across in this vast world that has become their race’s new home after so many years. Her smile is sweet and gracious and those deep brown eyes of hers can hold a gentle kind of warmth. She can be very open and inviting, easily able to talk to those around her with her sugary sweet words and satin voice. On the outside she is nothing short of what she was raised to be- a poised, smart, young lady. This however isn’t what can be found on the inside.

While Saavi is certainly a kind soul on the outside she can be considered as being nothing but a cold hearted bitch. She’s very calculating, choosing to make assumptions and judge those around her with observation and the information she gains from her many gossipers. Rumors always have some sort of truth to them don’t they? She likes to figure out if the next person within her sight can be one of use or if they’re simply useless. It takes a while to gain her trust as it does with most but once you have her trust  she is one of the most loyal people a person could have.

Saavi pauses, the goblet in her hand receiving a small whirl from the flick of her wrist. She doesn’t bother to look at the questioner, her eyes trained on the wine in her cup. Seconds later she would finally look at them, those dark eyes seeming holding a fire of some sort within them that to the right person would be deemed as untrustworthy and unnerving.

“I serve the house of Caryna of course. I’ve done so ever since I was a little girl and nothing will change that."

.
Arima Status:

.

Her Arima status isn’t exactly active. She hasn’t had the ability to truly use it by her control. It’s only showed up when she was very high in the air with emotions. If she’s feeling truly devastated? She has the power. Anger? Power. The desire to kill? She’s never felt more powerful.

Now with the ideas running through her mind and the burning desire burning at her hands she’s felt the power just beyond her reach. She feels that she may one day finally grasp it by her hands use it the way she wants to.

Skills & Expertise:

Charismatic

Call it a gift but Saavi is pretty good at coming across how she wants to. Growing up in the royal house wasn’t always fun and happiness. There’s always corruption somewhere and it can become a dog eat dog world fast. Those who know how to protect themselves know that playing all sides of the field is the way to go. Saavi has learned this herself and uses this to her advantage whenever she can.

Supple

She didn’t just drink tea, play with children, and gossip. Saavi was trained to fight like every other warrior of the House of Caryna. One of her top skills is how easily she’s able to accommodate herself despite what it may be. She’s very flexible, able to get into places others may not be able to.

Stamina

Just like being supple, the training has done her well. Though she doesn’t consider it too much of a skill she has very good stamina when it comes to fighting. She simply has to pace herself and not throw everything into it at once and if done right can sometimes wait out her name and giving the winning blow.

Swordsmanship

She isn’t the absolute best but it’s a skill that she takes pride in. She’s quick and nimble with her falchion and even though she knows she has more to learn she’s already come a far way.

Backstory:

(This isn’t brief whatsoever and I apologize lol)

Saavi wasn’t born into the world truly welcomed like a majority of children are. This was something she would come to learn, hate, accept, and use to her advantage in the 25 years of living she’d done so far. Born to a woman named Rianara, all would have been fine in the world if it hadn’t been for her father’s status. Having worked in the House of Caryna, Rianara had been one of the few to have adulterous meetings with the Head of the household, the man who ruled all of the Scorching Lands. The only difference between Rianara and the others would be the consistency in which she would meet the man. Their tumultuous affair would conceive a child- a baby girl that would come to be named Saavi by her mother. Due to not only being a child out of wedlock but the illegitimate child of someone with such a high status; the ones that knew of her wanted her dead. She would however be spared of a quick death and instead be given a life as someone else. Saavi would become something of a ‘family friend’ her backstory being that she was the child of a Lady in the Andreans who had passed after childbirth and no one else would take her.

Her mother on the other hand would have to abandon Saavi, going to live in The Northern Reach. Saavi wouldn’t know of her mother’s departure, being told by her father never to mention that name within the walls of her home. Her father would come to teach her a lot of things that she was not to do within the Walls of the Great House simply because she wasn’t the Lady of the House’s child. This fact would leave Saavi to have a strained relationship with Lady Qurin that would only become worse over the years as she grew. Despite the enemy she’d made during childhood she’d come to gain he loyalty and friendship of many others who didn’t know her true background. Her father would later put her to training with the rest of the men and women who would later become a part of the Iron Guardians. This would keep her occupied enough that she wouldn’t clash as much with the Lady of the House all the while preparing her for what her future would most likely become. However during her teens Saavi would come into her own thoughts and plan he down future without the guidance of anyone.

Her curiosity over the disappearance of her mother would come to be great and before long she would use those same friendships from before to network around the rest of the Scorching Lands, finding herself coming amongst the merchants. Their crafts interested her, their tales of being all over the world an even bigger allure. Her networking amongst them however would bring her to the result of finding a elect few she trusted enough with her quest. A certain merchant that goes by the name of Bohin would be the one to learn of her mother’s whereabouts. Saavi would go to him for information, always trading something with him and learning of the mother she never got the chance to know. Saavi would come to learn of her mother doing well and even having another daughter. Despite never having met her, Saavi would immediately become a protective big sister, sending things to them anonymously through Bohin and keeping tabs on everything they did. The information of her mother and sister would mix into the boiling pot that had sat bubbling within Saavi for years, finally boiling over to the point of Saavi finally going towards what she wanted.

There would be the sound of footsteps echoing across the halls of the large home. It would be later within the night, the moon high in the sky and providing just enough light to within the windows to make one able to see- but not enough for one to be found quickly if they were to hide. Which was what the young woman was thinking over. The Head of the house- her father- had just passed away, wasting his last breaths on that witch of a woman. His death had caused an unwanted stir within the house. One that was good for some and bad for others.

For Saavi? She might as well have died herself.

That man had been her openings to a lot of things, had kept her from truly living the life of an orphan. He had been the reason she’d become the woman that she was and despite the fact he’d thrown her mother out into the dust she had grown to love him. She would only ever admit this to him and no one else. For the others that could have been seen as a weakness or enough of a suspicious thing for them to try and figure out just what exactly had been going on behind the scenes including her. But for now that love was the last thing she needed. Right now she needed to figure out a way to save her ass from being killed off or kicked out of the lands. She was sure Lady Qurin wanted that and with that woman… Whatever she wanted was always answered with a yes.

Hushed voices filled the empty hall and Saavi would immediately stop, turning right into an open room and pressing up against the wall. She wasn’t sure who they were but their words were about the recently deceased Head of the house. This news was fine. What pissed her off however was the gossip that Lady Qurin was now the Head of the house. Of course. She should have remembered this from the beginning to be honest. But her being the head would bring a new bunch of obstacles for her to face. With a scowl, Saavi would drift out of the room after the coast was clear, returning to her walk.

There had been rumors of a sort of rebellion going on within the different lands. There was possibly one going on within the Scorching Lands as well. Biting her lip, Saavi looked out one of the windows that overlooked the rest of the land.

Now was a better time than any to get to know those that were for the rebellion… She could certainly use the ally...
