Name: Ryuhjin

Age: 8527

Element: Water

Desired Power Level: 87

Gender: Male

Personality: Usually a benevolent Dragon Ryujin brought rain across the world for many centuries, and as one of the oldest dragons he believes it is his right to keep the balance on earth. Making plans for years in Advance. Ryujin is a meticulous tactician and a careful fighter. Though in his old age Ryuhjin has also found himself to be quite jovial and even a little mischievous. The Old Sage of the Mists has been known to trick his visitors with illusions as a form of entertainment.

Bio: Long have the rulers of the water dragons gone to him for advice. In times of peace he was sought out to insure that the country would continue to grow and prosper. In times of war he was asked to formulate tactics that would mitigate losses. Some rumors among nobles and workers alike say that old Ryuhjin was the original water Dragon.

Other claim that he was the first king or related to him somehow. Ryuhjin himself denies all of it and simply says that he has lived a long and prosperous life thanks to the sacrifices of others. Unknown to anyone but his friends and family Ryuhjin once had a brother. As the first son of the royal family Ryuhjin's brother was slated to be king while Ryuhjin himself was destined to become a scholar and advisor to his brother.

After years of study and preparation the two brothers assumed their mantels and began performing their roles. Unfortunately for Ryuhjin his brother was not destined to keep his throne for long. As if by a curse soon after his heir was born Ryuhjin's brother fell ill and died after struggling with his sickness for 40 years. Grief stricken Ryuhjin withdrew from society and has only just recently allowed himself to rejoin society being his old jovial self.

Participating in social events with the nobles while also walking the streets of the massive kingdom helping the commoner as well where he can. However hidden deep within the old dragons heart is a seething hatred. While he loves and cares for his fellow dragons he absolutely loathes humanity. Blaming them for the death of his late brother. The sickness that ended up killing his brother was brought forth from a human poison thanks to a serious wound his brother had received from some humans. Apparently they had thought they could make the king of the water dragons their pet. Riding him around and using him to fight other dragons. The entire idea was an affront to the freedom of dragons. Ryuhjins brother managed to kill the arrogant humans, but not before being dealt series damage that proved to be nearly fatal. Those wounds would stay with the king for the rest of his life and greatly weakened the king; making his susceptible to their poison.

On the day of his brothers funeral Ryuhjin made a vow that he would punish the humans one day when he had become strong enough.

@SleepyBuddha Would youuuuu be willing to have a considerable handi-cap to allow him to be a bit more cohesive to the rest of the play to prevent massive overpowering?
