Spritt
The manifestation of a plant or inanimate object embedded with a spirit using a mixture of necromancy and creation magic. Their forms are placed upon them by a third party, generally by a clan or someone with advanced magical abilities. They do age just a little slower than humans, and do usually have abilities. However, since their bodies are maintained by magic they are often conformed into smaller versions of their first humanoid form to help preserve magical energy. When they are children, they do not revert due to their bodies already being small enough to keep energy. They cannot conserve a humanoid form without magical energy, thus being completely drained of it can and will cause them to revert to their true forms. This is why many Spritts have a seal somewhere on their bodies used to store small amounts of their gained energy over time as a sort of emergency unit, and some also have horns that are used as channeling points to absorb the energy.
Traditionally, spritts are used as servants and guardians to few important families. Some creators have multiple spritts if their power allows it, but they are usually born with only one. Once an 'important' child is born, a spritt is created to grow with them in order to ensure loyalty. Since they originate from non-sentient objects and organisms their rights as living beings are often overlooked. If a spritt betrays their human masters they are severely punished, if not killed. It also isn't unheard of for spritts to die if their masters die or abandon them, be it by suicide or heartache. As it would be, it's rare to see spritts without a master stuck to their side let alone far from their homes.
I couldn't think of a better name for them.

While Ryo may look like a cold grouch he is actually a generally friendly person, albeit a little shy or hesitant towards strangers at first. With a contradicting personality much like water, as he learns he becomes more adaptive to his environment and situations, and isn't afraid to make his own path through a tough situation if it calls for it. Somewhat cool-headed and passive, Ryo isn't someone who is easily angered; though, even he has his bad days or moody moments. He doesn't like fighting, but was raised to be quite merciless when it comes to getting violent with or without his powers- Thus why he tries to avoid serious conflict with others unless it's necessary. While he is modest, it is in his nature to be honest and moderately impulsive despite his training as a servant. It's not unusual for him to be blunt with his opinions one moment and then telling them in ways people may not catch on to the next. The teen is also somewhat scrupulous and a relatively fast learner, finding entertainment in solving puzzles even though he isn't a genius and it may take him many tries at getting something right. That being said, Ryo is easily swayed with people's problems, but is rather stoical when it comes to his own such as his grief over Sota's death. He is curious about the people outside of his family and wants to be able to have companions even if he is seen as a little scary and grumpy sometimes, but is dense when it comes to flirting or romance since he's never experienced any form of it or been taught on it. Masahiro often described him as someone with two different energies(Auras), one of which was menacing and the other quite delicate, that mingles together in a manner that either scares, confuses, or amuses others.
To quickly sum it up, Ryo is an adaptable ambivert and somewhat odd guy who doesn't like violence or complaining about his problems. He can be easily embarrassed, but he isn't very reclusive and is friendly if you can get over his menacing appearance which is much easier when he is small. All in all he wants is to learn more and make companions, but his aura and looks often scare people away in his first form.
I know that the personality may not be too developed, but I'm looking to be able to add growth and character development as this goes.

||Biography||
Seventeen years ago an old and powerful man by the name of Sota took a vacation from his secluded home in the mountains and when he returned he brought back a souvenir, a red spider lily. These ominous bulbs are mostly associated death, the after life, and one chance meetings, and he was fascinated with the scarlet blossom. Sota used the spider lily to create a spritt for his first grandson and named it Ryo, disregarding his families wishes not to use the flower in fear that it would bring bad luck. Unfortunately, shortly after birth the grandson's heart failed him and he passed, leaving most of the grieving family to place the blame on the newly formed spritt. Ryo, who was very young at the time, was instead taken under Sota's wing where he would be raised and taught by Sota's own spritt, Masahiro, for most of his life. Though they are mixed cultured, the Ito family's traditions are strict, and many of the members do not use technology on their land. Instead, spritts and children were home-schooled and taught in the district in which the Ito family took most pride in: art and entertainment. From painting to dances- if one didn't have a talent in something or a good appearance then one wouldn't be regarded as respectable in the household.
Ryo was one of few who, unfortunately, did not have a natural talent in the arts. He was a fast learner and was taught the basics of cooking, serving, and certain dances that helped him refine the fluidity and gracefulness of his movements; However, since his natural expression was often intimidating, he wasn't allowed to participate in more than practices in performance arts. Instead, he was raised being the official assistant to Sota, who was a somewhat ruthless man despite his soft spot for spritts. As his 'assistant', Ryo was used to serve, intimidate people who sought nothing but money from Sota, as well as guarding the family home at night with one other family member when he reached fifteen. Masahiro helped him when his abilities began to surface and Sota was often there to protect him from some of the hateful members of their family, and both were like his parental figures as he was raised. There were three more spritts who were created as time passed and the family grew and a somewhat peaceful time ensued between these few years, but Sota new that his health would soon fade and assigned a place for Ryo to go to where he would be safe from those who wished to harm him and could finish his education. Once he passed away, the grieving Masahiro sent a reluctant Ryo on his way as ordered after providing him with, well, more modern clothing and provisions.

Flora energy
This ability allows Ryo to absorb or manipulate energy from plants to help replenish his own. *Absorbing is limited in that it is usually a very slow process, and forcefully absorbing too much energy at once can cause physical drawbacks for him.
Threads
This ability goes hand in hand with his Flora energy manipulation. It allows him to meld his own energy with flora energy to create physical threads of energy that are sharp and malleable but supple. He can change the sharpness of the threads as well and use them for simple things such as sewing. This can also be done by threading plants together and using his energy to meld the plants into a weapon, but this takes time and the weapons don't last for longer than a day. *He doesn't have total control over this ability yet. *Is limited on the amount of energy he can use. Using too much energy can very well be fatal for him.
Dead Autumn
A seasonal ability that is only effective during autumn, or fall, when red spider lilies are said to be in bloom. As fall passed through, the ability weakens as well, and is most prominent in the early stages of northern hemisphere's autumn especially during the summer to autumn equinox. This ability, while increasing his energy intake, allows him to see the remnants of those who departed within what ever area he is in, be it a flash of someone else's memories and emotions or seeing random figures that aren't really there. It's extremely rare that he come across someone who is actually capable of communication. This is seen to him as more of a weakness than anything since it can't be harnessed and isn't very useful as far as he knows. *the only things he knows about this ability are what he's learned on his own. *The increase in energy can cause him to become sick or moody the first two weeks. *it cannot be controlled from his experience, though this may develop in the future.
