Body: He's thin, but not very strong, nor very athletic.
Attire: Ryan has a very personal punck rock style. He likes to wear skinny jeans, large hoodies, sweat pants and t-shirts. Most of his clothes are worn out. He usually can't afford new clothes, so he uses them until they are completely ruined.
It is also common to find band merchandise on his wardrobe. T-shirts with song lyrics or band logos are a must in his outfit.
- Personality
Ryan is quite a nice person: he's outgoing, fun and trustworthy. Many may see him as a loner, but that isn't true. He does enjoy being with others, and he needs to be around people to feel well. However, when he can't find people that understand him, he does tend to get alone.
He is a great friend. He values friendship a lot, and he would do anything for the people he cares about. Although he gives the best of himself to others, he has a problem: Ryan expects other people to be as committed to relationships as he is, and that doesn't happen a lot. Because of that, he has had his heart broken a few times before. Over the years, he learned to keep his feelings to himself, and getting him share his feelings with others nowdays is quite hard.
Ryan also has a lot of patience. He's a very relaxed person, and it takes a long time to get him angry. However, when does get mad at someone, he just explodes and gets really frustrated. He becomes quite blunt, and there's no holding him back. Ryan tends to find a lot of trouble at school, mainly because he's quick to jump to conclusions, and even quicker to jump into fights. He has hurt people in the past with his words and agreessive attitude, though he always regret it later. It's easy for him do admit his errors and apologize, but it's very difficult for him to forgive people who have betrayed his trust.
He a quiet person too. He thinks a lot before he speaks, and each word is carefully chosen. He's got an opinion on everything, and if he believes you're wrong, he makes sure you know it.
- History
Ryan grew up in a regular suburban neighbourhood. His father was a respected police officer, and his mother worked in a local grocery store. Ryan was their only child, so they would provide them with everything he needed. He had an easy childhood, until the night before his 9th birthday.
Mr. Greyworth was doing the night patrol on the neighbourhood. He noticed one suspicious man approaching a 24/7 gas station, and he followed him. The man entered the station and took a sawed-off shotgun from under his jacket and used it to steal all the money they had at the time. Ryan's father, Mr. Greyworth, tried to stop the robbery, shooting twice at the suspect. The suspect tried to run away in his car, but the police officer started shoting at the tires of the vehicle. The robber then tried to make a run for it, and Mr. Greyworth followed him. He chased the thief all over the neighbourhood, but when he cornered him in an alleyway, the thief shot the officer in the chest, and left him dying in the dark alleway
Since the death of his father, Ryan was never the same. He became quieter, and things and school became even harder for him. He couldn't keep up with the other students, and he would get into a lot of trouble, most of the times because he would either start fighting with his colleagues, or engage in acts of vandalism.
Things also got hard for him in other ways: his mother couldn't afford most of the things they needed. They had some serious financial problems, and they almosthad to give up their house because they couldn't pay the rent.
A few years later his mother married again. Her new husband is kind to her, and even helps them with their money problems. Ryan is happy for his mother, because she can finally move on with her life. However, he and his stepfather can't stand each other. They are always arguing, and his stepfather refuses to pay a single dollar to help him in anything he needs. One of the few good things of living with his stepfather is that he has a daugher. Ryan's step-sister, April, is one year older that him, and she is very cool with him. She's the complete opposite of her father. She teases him a lot, but she also helps him with his homework, and everytime he gets into trouble, she is there to help him. Ryan does consider her a part of the family, unlike her father.
