Semblance: I'll Stand With You!- Cong Yu in a way can use his semblance to link himself up with someone. By doing so, he can share his aura with those he links up with, effectively pooling together their combined aura. Doing so may grant the linked person more aura to use or even keep one in the fight for longer, and if need be Cong Yu can transfer aura to the person he is link, allowing for example faster heal time. However, although they have an overall increased aura pool that means that any drain on the aura pool, be it physically or through the others semblance will affect the other. In other words, if one is hurt, the other will feel it. If one were to fall unconscious this will severe the link in a manner that will be violent towards Cong Yu. Death may also be a problem, but that has yet to be tested. Additionally, whoever is linked up with Cong Yu would also be able to mentally communicate with each other, though side affect of this is that one may be able to peer into another's memory, be it on purpose or by accident.
Strengths:
Polearm Specialist: Skilled with a his guan dao and polarms in general, the young man’s speed at wielding said weapons are rarely matched. Using polearms also mean that his reached is longer than most in melee.
CQC Expert: Even without his polearm, Cong is a mountain of a man to be reckoned with. His strength only adds to the ferocity of his attacks, often he will planet his weapon into the ground or throw it into the enemy before engaging said enemy with martial arts.
Strength and Resilience: Years of conditioning has produce a big man with monstrous strength with a learned ability of how to take a hit. Stronger than most, Cong also takes a reduced amount of aura drain per hit than normal students. His armor only adds to his resilience.
Speed Load and Fire- The lever action nature of the Jade Fire’s ranged ability means that the weapon can be rapidly fired and even loaded.
Book-Smarts- Strongly values education, and is pretty good at maintain good grades.
Weaknesses:
Slow Build-Up: Has a hard time matching speeds with other huntsmen, though it is less so regarding the usage of his weapon and more with his movement.
Mid-Short: Jade Fire is only effective from mid-short, leaving him without much attacks at long range.
Big Target- Cong is not a small figure, and generally will be the first thing to be targeted in a fight.
Honor of the Righteous- No matter what happens, Cong will never kill children or the elderly. He will defend himself and others, but he will not kill, not unless it’s necessary. Hurting on the other hand, that’s less of a problem.
Personality: On the outset the man is quite intimidating, though he isn’t exactly what you may call a gentle giant either; though he can be. Rather, he’s much more of intellect, a man of observation, a man of study. Cong values the importance of education, and always strives to learn more about the world around him. It’s not uncommon to see him about with or a book, or closing his eyes in meditation. But when the sound of battle calls, no one’s more ready than Cong. Discipline is what comes to mind, never one to break rank, unless an injustice is done. For Cong does not rush into combat, rather he builds the momentum to enter it, and when he does he comes down upon his enemies like an avalanche. Some may say it’s scary to watch Cong fight, he exhibits almost no emotions in a fight, keeping the same stoic face no matter what happens. The only time such a look will shift is when he is addressing his allies, for they are the only ones Cong needs to show emotion towards.
History: Cong was originally from a remote region of Mistral, son of a blacksmith who made a decent living off of producing weapons for huntsmen and ordinary people alike. The boy was talented, showing great potential not just in combat, but also talented of the mind. So, he was sent to the resident veteran, who trained him, mentoring Cong with many stories of past battles. But this was not forever, for his mentor died, natural causes, a rare sight in the world of Remnant. But the man’s legacy would live on, live on in Cong
Such legacy started at age 12, when Cong witness corruption and put a end to it, but that meant he had to skip town, as the only way to stop said corruption was to kill the leader of their village. He became a street urchin, wandering the streets of a particular town for a while, right before he was recruited into a local militia. See, within that area of Mistral huntsmen were spread out thing, already preoccupied with keeping the grimm at bay, giving groups such as the White Fang plenty of room to operate. The son of the town’s leader had decided to gather a small group of armed individuals to put down the White Fang’s operations, Cong Yu was one of them. Under a cherry blossom tree, would this group form a pact, a brotherhood, a brotherhood that would make a name for itself: The Pact of the Cherry Blossoms.
This pact would see them many feats, as they did battle against the White Fang. Many in their ranks fell, but they fell just as many of the White Fang. Cong himself became one of the more famed of the brothers. It is said that he had a habit of breaking the masks of each White Fang member he encountered, a way of showing his might, perhaps, but it is said it was a way to revel the eyes, a way to show that they were not fighting monsters, but people. Another, more famous story that circulated that Cong Yu defeated 8 White Fang lieutenant in order to get to deliver an urgent request for reinforcements.
Perhaps such stories were truth, perhaps they were just stories. Whatever the reason it was enough to land Cong Yu a recommendation to Beacon Academy all the way in Vale. At first Cong Yu almost refused, but it was his brother-at-arms that ultimately convinced him to go.
Now, Cong Yu takes the next step in his journey, a journey filled with battle and adventure, but also a journey that is filled with...family.

Personality: Carey is a confident and slightly arrogant person. She has a very short temper, which combined with her destructive semblance and disregard for collateral damage have earned her a bit of a reputation as being a constant source of trouble. She is energetic and optimistic, usually coming off as cheerful and candid. Despite her lighthearted demeanor, she is seriously determined and is willing to do anything in order to achieve her goals.
Background: The only event from Carey's background worth mentioning is that her father chopped of her tail so that she could better pass of as human shortly after she was born. Carey never really forgave him for this, and as a result they have a bit of a rocky relationship, to put it mildly.
Weapons: Homemade dust bombs. She also carries a knife around to use when she's out of bombs.
Semblance: Volatile - Carey can cause objects to adopt an explosive characteristic easily set off by sudden impacts, pressure, and contact against aura. The "explosion" itself is a sudden burst of energy capable of knocking a person out, disorienting them, and/or throwing them back several feet.

However, Carey's greatest use of this semblance is in combining it with her homemade chemical/dust bombs, using the unique energy created from the explosions to vastly increase the potency of the reactions.

An object effected by Volatile can be visually identified by a slight trembling and faint red etchings crisscrossing over it's surface.

Skills: Pyrotechnics: While she still has a lot to learn about it, she's surprisingly talented at making different kinds of explosives.

History: Falco is the heir to the Cremisi Weapons Company, a weapons company which manufactures and tests new weapons for Atlas’ military. Falco was raised with his family’s best wishes in mind: to train him to be able to make innovations to weaponry for days to come. This included putting him into a combat school for Huntsman training. He was taught graphic design and engineering as well in order for him to be able to take on the role of lead designer, a role which his father still held as president of the company. During his training, Falco was also able to unlock his semblance. One day on a training mission, Falco partnered up with another student to practice in a forest. While the two were sparring, they came upon a resting Ursine which was abruptly woken by sounds of fighting. Falco’s partner, paralyzed with fear, stared at the Grimm as it reared up and prepared to strike. Falco reached out for his friend, and suddenly a hand made of aura shot out and pulled back his friend. Confused, he decided to figure out what just happened after they had gotten away from the Ursine. It was discovered that Falco had unlocked his semblance. Soon enough the time had come to graduate to a higher combat school. Of all the offers he had, Falco had decided to attend Beacon Academy in the kingdom of Vale. He said it was to “experience a different lifestyle.” His father booked him a ticket to Vale and wished him luck, as well as to not let him down.
Personality: Being from a wealthy lifestyle, Falco can be quite snobbish at times. He has a tendency to be a know-it-all due to his higher education in Atlas, and will usually point out people’s faults more than their virtues. When it comes to Faunus, he could care less. He’s not afraid of the White Fang, his gusto coming from the fact that his family makes weapons to fight off militants. In combat, Falco enjoys goading his opponent in hopes of causing a slip-up or a misstep, allowing for an opening, though sometimes he bites off more than he can chew. Despite his smug demeanor, he’s always keeping an eye out for his teammates, though he usually follows up with snide comments after the fight.
Semblance: Phantom Grasp - Falco can project a hand made of pure aura from his own hands, which can be used to grab objects and bring them towards him or vice versa. Currently, he can only move his own body weight including his weapon.

The Red Queen
A single-edge longsword specially designed by Falco. It has an accelerator built into the top portion of the handle, which builds up energy from the Dust cartridge stored in the back of the sword. The sword must be held firmly in place when reving it, however, so he usually has it in its sheathe or implanted into the ground. Once enough energy has been built up, the base of the blade will begin to glow the color of the stored Dust. Falco can then pull the release trigger, engulfing the sword in Dust energy for a brief moment. The amount of force when he does this is so grat that oftentimes Red Queen will propel him in the direction of his swing, launching him either forward or upward.​

Personality: Despite hailing from a rich background, Midori's attitude is that of the common man. He is a friendly person that is willing to take risks and make sacrifices for the better good for not only for his team, but also for the world. However, his wealthy status is something that he doesn't want to talk about. He yearns for a simple and peaceful life and takes pleasure to even the most simplistic of things. Nevertheless, there are traits of him that makes him a wealthy person, such as having to say yes when offered money and things no matter what kind and even have a very big obsession to hygiene. Yet, he acts like a normal teenager.

Background: Midori was born in one of the wealthiest families around Vale. In a young age, he was taught to look down at the poor and never share to anyone but themselves. That is something that would eventually develop his hatred to his parent's philosophies and principles. His parents were both corrupted huntsmen that takes on missions for money and abuse their fame. Midori would eventually want himself to be a hunter as well, but with a good sense. At an early age, roughly around his early-teens, he was trained by his parents how to fight, eventually receiving his weapon from them as a reward for his mastery. He would then be accepted by Beacon by recommendation.

Weapons:
Given by his parents as a reward for his mastery is the multi-changing weapon Mangroove. It has three modes that can change from being an axe, an assault rifle, and a sniper rifle. While it is compatible with any kind of Dust bullets, Midori's preferred Dust bullets are of the fire element.

Semblance: Restoration allows Midori to restore objects back to its original state. This Semblance can also be used onto people to heal wounds, but not himself. While it is said that everyone's Aura can automatically heal the person, his Semblance can make the healing process a lot faster.

Personality: Eleanor is friendly, kind, caring and nurturing person. She isn't really shy, just quiet and observant when meeting new people and during class. She will always do her best to help others, putting others first before herself. Very expressive and gets quite excited about the things she loves. Though at times she might seem a bit childish, she is quite smart and knows when to be serious.
Motivation: To help and protect others from the dangers of the world. As well as to follow in her family's footsteps and become a future huntress.
Semblance: Shabonikinesis (Bubble Manipulation). Simple but useful, the bubbles can be used as a distraction and a cushion when falling. Eleanor can infuse the bubbles with dust (this can make them into little bombs). She can also change the size of a bubble, using it as a force field (though it only lasts for a bit). Large multiple bubbles at once and large ones take up a lot of her energy. She has only recently uncovered her semblance two years ago.
Weapon(s): Destiny- A blue and silver bow, beautifully decorated with wave-like curves at the end. The bow splits into dual style arm blades that the end curves of the bow reach past her elbows. The arrows she uses are specially constructed; they are color-coded arrows with a hollow chamber located just behind the arrowhead. These chambers are filled with dust to provide additional effects such as igniting the enemy or encasing them in solid ice by letting the Dust out through vents on the chamber. The arrows are can be retrieved and reused, and come apart into the arrowhead, Dust chamber, shaft, nock, and fletchings. She keeps spare pieces, as well as a few vials of Dust in her belt pouches.
She is mainly a long range fighter, which is why her weapon mainly stays in bow form. Her fighting style is as a backup for her team members. (Example is encasing the grim into ice when her team is overwhelmed, making them easier targets for her fellow fighters to destroy). She only goes into close-range combat when she's either out of arrows or cornered. As well as using her blades as a shield by placing her arms together. Splitting her bow into her two blades can be risky since if one blade is disarmed or destroyed, the weapon is unable to combine back into its Bow form.
Strengths: Her archery skills are to the point, know for her great skills in her hometown. She is quite the runner and climber, quick on her feet and a great climber of trees. Long range attacks and fighting in groups.Has great hearing and sense of smell due to being a dog faunus.
Weaknesses: She hates and is terrified of thunder and lightning. Very loud noises and strong smells and overpower her. Though she is agile when fighting she is quite clumsy when walking normally. She dislikes large fires. She hates watching her friends get hurt and being completely on her own. The overuse of her semblance can cause her to grow tired, throw up, get a migraine or pass out.
Background: Eleanor a dog Faunus was born in a small mountain village, were her parents Allister and Eirawen were great hunters. After losing both her parents at a very young age she was taken in by her grandfather Theron. A semi-retired hunter, who owns a shop, selling and repairing items for other hunters. Eleanor had a very normal childhood and learned to be a huntress from her grandfather. Now she is off to the Shade Academy to follow in her parents and past families footsteps and become a future huntress. She is excited and scared of being away from home and making friends.

Has some slight facial scarring on the right right of his head, and deeper scars all over his his legs and left arm, from years of fighting monsters and superpowered foes with nothing but his brains and brawn.

Personality
Eisen is a fairly serious soul, one worn down by serious hard work and the stress of his "handicap". He's constantly training and studying, making sure he stays caught up with the pack.

He has a strong moral code, and follows it with an unbreakable will, but it's not necessarily the typical "good guy" set of standards. He will follow it, even if it breaks mission parameters. Despite this, he's never gotten in any actual trouble. Rumors say he's a favorite student of Ozpin's.

Despite all this, he's not a stick in the mud. He's social enough even if he's not the politest or most popular person around. He doesn't have a deceitful bone in his body, and generally fails to notice if he said something... unhelpful.

To sum it up: He's a social stoic.

Backstory

Eisen doesn't have a complex heartbreaking background. He grew up middle class, well loved by his family and community. His only "downfall" was no special abilities. People thought he was going to be another civilian

Nope.

By working harder than anyone, Eisen became strong enough to be allowed into Signal. While he struggled initially, by continuing to work for it, he graduated top of his class.

Semblance
It's a cause for great stress/depression for Eisen. He has no active semblance, although he does have aura running through him.

In truth, he does have a semblance. He just has no idea that it's not activated like the typical semblance.


Weaponry and Armor
Without a semblance, Eisen had to get creative with armor and weapons. In a world where others go more complicated, with transforming weapons and crazy elemental powers, Eisen went simpler.

After months of his last year at Signal just running through his combat training analytically, he developed the armor and sword to play on his particular strengths and movements.

Without moving parts and hidden bits, his seven foot Zweihander is deceptively light and nimble for its large size.

He has just enough armor to bolster his defenses based on careful planning based on past injury sites, but he remains agile and quick.

Eisen also carries a pair of handguns, just in case. A small caliber silenced one, and a high caliber revolver, for various scenarios. The revolver is dust ammo compatible.

Also has a run-of-the-mill hunting knife strapped to his thigh. It doesn't see much use in combat.

Other
His lack of a semblance is his darkest deepest secret. Select few know about it. He takes supplementary courses on the weekends to try and find what's stopping him.

Personality: Wary of humans, even if it's hidden under a pleasent face and a kind smile. She is a nice person, aware of her surroundings and the feelings of others, if it isn't clouded by her own view. She can be cold, and at first glance often is, but those who really know her know she is a flip of a coin from being kind and warm, to being a brutal snowstorm.
Background: Ivory was born in Menagerie, her family a part of the White Fang. They had known first-hand some of the torment humans had brought to Faunus-kind, and had made sure Ivory knew it as well: Humans were to not be trusted. She had grown up like this, all the way up until she was sent to Beacon. Even then, she knew that once she graduated, she would fight for the rights of Faunus, by any means necessary.
Weapons:
Sunrise- A rather simple sword in construction, it is agile and sturdy, and can transform into a compact semi-automatic rifle.
Sunset- A dagger similar in style to the sword, it pairs with Sunrise as an off-hand defensive weapon, or can be affixed as a bayonet to the rifle. On its own, it can change into that of a five shot revolver.
Eclipse- a weapon of last resort, it is a second dagger, although this one is made of bone, and has no special properties besides being incredibly sharp.
Semblance:
Prismatic Brilliance- This semblance has several things that it can do. One of these abilities is how she can refract around herself or a set object, acting as a form of optical camoflauge. This would not hold up under thermal imaging. The second use is creating bright flashes of light, either from her hands or her weapon, that can blind opponents temporarily. The final use is a human flashlight.

Grim & Fade
A pair of extremely tough wooden Bokken given to Ross by his father. Even though they're just training swords, he often uses them in real combat while empowered by aura to give them the boost they need and making them on par if not better than their metal blade counter-parts.

Repentance
A One-handed sword with a diehard steampunk appearance warranted to him by his deceased "uncle". The blade itself is actually similar to that of a Chainsaw's due to its working saw-chain activated by flicking a switch just beneath the sword's hilt. Despite the heavy metal design its quite light, leaving the user to put the blade through evil like a lumberjack mowing down a tree.

Semblance:
Antecedent Echo: This allows Ross to bring memories of the past into current reality. In other words, he can replay an action done previously. Being that he has yet to develop this ability, so far he can only "echo" a past action once. (For example: If he were to toss a rock into the pond. He could then replay that action, causing an "echo" or memory of either him physically tossing the rock into the pond, or the rock simply flying into the pond. So he would then be unable to make that past action replay after it has already been replayed.... hope you got that..)

Also, the most "echos" he can have play at once are limited to 5. Not to mention he must also be able to see the spot the action happened, and depending on the length or complexity of the "echo", he may be unable to move due to needed concentration. Since the semblance depends on his memories, any "echo" he makes is physically immune to him. (Like if he made an echo of someone riding a bike down the street, and he was in front of it, it would phase right through him.)

One of the cons of this ability is that if the echo is disrupted in any way, it instantly dissipates. (For instance, if he replayed a memory of himself performing a right hook, and the enemy was to do something that would prevent the action from being completed, it would instantly fade away. But if the punch was blocked or if it landed, then being that the action was still completed, it would only fade at its original end point.)
