From Dust To DawnLegend states that man was created from dust itself, into the world of Remnant, a land ravaged by hostile Grimm. These soulless creatures preyed upon mankind, spreading darkness across the lands of Remnant. But one day, a man discovered Dust, a natural resource with great power. Now armed with weapons powered by these crystals, man overpowered the savage Grimm and pushed them away. With the absence of darkness, man could form society and grow.

Yet these days of light would not last too long, and humanity would soon be thrust into another war- this time with itself. Remnant was divided into smaller countries in a long war, and it would also create war with the Faunus, another species of people on Remnant that were part-human, part-animal. These Faunus would create a great racial rift between man and Faunus, which would lead to all sorts of conflict and terrorism between them.

Today, Remnant has arrives at a Gilded Age. The kingdoms are at a supposed new level of peace, but not all is good. Faunus, while now considered citizens, are discriminated against, and a terrorist group called the White Fang has emerged because of this inequality. Those living outside the kingdoms are suspect to Grimm attacks. Not everything is good in this world.

But there are shining beacons of hope. After the Great War, academies emerged to train young minds to become Huntsmen, or soldiers against Grimm, using their aura and dust-powered weaponry, and thus protecting those that cannot protect themselves and help rend Remnant’s rifts (try saying that ten times fast.) Beacon Academy, one of these huntsman academies, located in Vale, is a prestiged Huntsman academy. The skills taught there transforms young students into elite warriors against darkness, which helps brighten the world.

But beneath the golden surface of Remnant lies problems, even greater than just Grimm or the White Fang. Dark forces are rising, and they will soon make themselves known to the world. But for now, a new class of students are arriving at Beacon, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead of them.
Bonds will be formed, bones may be broken. At Beacon Academy, it's all a learning experience for a future class of Hunters. What Beacon does, they do the best.


They're going to need every good Hunter they can get, after all.

Physique: He has a slim, but muscular build due to his rougher life outside the Kingdoms and constant training. His height is about 5'10. His left eye is ice blue, the other a blood crimson.

Appearance:

Gelus usually wears his armour everywhere, even when sleeping. Its a habit he picked up from living outside Vale, due to the constant danger of getting attacked. Under the armour he wears an ice blue coat with many inside pockets, black trousers, and boots. He very rarely wears a different outfit. He has several sets of the same clothing.

He also wears a light blue scarf around his neck that used to belong to his mother. He will react violently if someone touches it.


Personality:

Cold and aloof, Gelus is the perfect assassin. He is quiet and reserved, showing little emotion, even when in the company of those he considers close friends. He will occasionally make a sarcastic remark and is dependable in a fight, and has a mind for strategy. He shows a surprising disregard for human (or Faunus) life, perfectly willing to take down an enemy for good. He believes that if a threat arises, it should be dealt with. Permanently.



Biography:

Gelus was born in one of the many villages lying scattered around the continent of Sanus, nearer to the Kingdom of Vale. Due to the constant battle for survival against the Grimm, he was trained to fight from a young age. Although he was proficient in melee combat, his true skill lay in ranged weaponry. Although, like the other outer villages, his did not have access to the advanced technologies of the four Kingdoms. Instead, he had to make do with the more primitive bow and arrows. Still, he made quite a name for himself in the village, bringing in many game for food and killing a significant portion of the Grimm that attacked the village every so often.

However, it was not to last. A Grimm migration saw hundreds of the creatures descending on the village. Despite their best efforts, Gelus and the militia were unable to hold and the village fell. Most of the population died, including Gelus’s parents and little sister. The shock of losing them filled him with raw, unabridged fury. He waded the streets of the burning village, his father’s sword and his bow in hand as he slaughtered every Grimm that he came across. It was during that wholescale massacre that his Semblance awakened.

Surrounded and exhausted, it was only the timely arrival of a team of Hunters passing by that saved him. They took him to Vale, where he rested and recovered. One of the Hunters, a grizzled man by the name of Chrome, was impressed by his skill and had a word with Ozpin, the Headmaster at Beacon Academy.

And so, a somewhat bewildered Gelus found himself enrolled at one of the four Hunter Academies in Remnant. He has vowed to use the years here to become more efficient killer of the enemies of innocents, whether it be Grimm or fellow humans.



Weapons:

Although his first weapon was a bow, Gelus feels far more comfortable with the modern day guns. However, he dislikes mecha-shift weapons, thinking them as to expensive and time consuming to maintain. Instead, he makes use of a .50 Calibre sniper rifle, with an adjustable scope with thermal and night vision settings. The weapon is painted a dark black and has a 6 round magazine. He usually uses explosive rounds when fighting Grimm and AP rounds when fighting other beings, but he has other bullets too.

For a sidearm, he makes use of a pistol with an attached silencer. This weapon is the same colour as the sniper rifle and has a twenty round magazine. He use a mix of rounds as well.

Although close quarter fighting isn’t his preferred method of fighting, he comes equipped with a pair of long serrated daggers strapped to his forearms, as well as an assortment of throwing knifes.

He wears a set of light armour that is enough to stop bullets, or perhaps a Beowolf claw. It doesn’t offer much protection, but he is fine with it as he prefers to be able to move fast.



Semblance:

Gelus’s Semblance is called Compulsion. It manifests in his red right eye, which starts to glow when in use. It allows him to dominate a person’s mind through direct eye contact, planting suggestions in their brain that they find extremely difficult to not follow. It doesn’t work on Grimm, has a limited range, and can't pierce active Aura.

He wears a blue eye patch over it, as he does not have full control over its power yet.

Fighting Style:

He prefers fighting from a distance with his sniper rifle. He is an expert marksman, able to hit a target at an impressive distance. He is agile and moves quickly. Up close and personal isn’t really his style, though he is skilled at it. His Aura is only average however, so it is inadvisable for him to remain on the front lines for long.

Name: Orion "Ryan" Tenebrae

Nickname/Alias: White-Haired Monster Hunter, Riri, Ri, Ryan

Age: 17

Physique: Ryan stands at 177cm in height and weighs 154lbs. He has bright white hair from his father and his mothers blue eyes. Though his eyes will turn a bright red when he uses his semblance. His outfits normally consist of primarily black coloring with chequered patterns. Ryan prefers to wear lengthy coats with hoods on his torso, with whatever he has in his closet underneath that. His pants are normally grey trousers and gunmetal or black jeans. On his feet are black boots, made for stomping on Grimm. Ryan is a devout believer in wearing gloves when on the job, so he almost always has either full or fingerless black gloves on. Ryan has a cybernetic arm as a result of a Grimm attack, its black coloring fits with his dark aesthetic. This is his regular attire. Though he will sometimes wear whatever he feels like, even if its a pink dinsosaur costume.

Personality
Seemingly carefree and fun. Ryan's happy-go-lucky demeanour obscures his hidden depths as a deep thinker and analytical fighter. While many may dismiss him as a thrill seeker or a fool. Ryan is actually a very emotional and driven person. Rarely will he help someone for selfish reasons. Ryan isn't the kind to judge or mistreat someone based on their background. He prefers to find out how he feels about that person himself. While his silly side isn't all there is to Ryan, it is still a large part of him. Its the reason why he bakes rainbow cookies in amock cooking show while talking in a funny voice. Ryan doesn't take certain things at face value and tries to find out all he can about any given thing he sets his mind to studying. While fighting, Ryan assesses the strength of his opponent and does all he can to completely eliminate them with whatever tools he has at that given moment.

Brief Bio
Ryan is one of the five children of the Great Huntsman Julius Tenebrae. Julius Tenebrae is a retired Huntsman who was known for great feats such as defeating an
an Ursa with a tree branch, riding atop a chariot pulled by over twenty Nucklavee and taking on a hoard of Beringal by himself to defend a bridge. His mother Neve is a master swordswoman from Mistral. She would take in orphans and train them to defend themselves. She once managed to defeat a pair of Dragons in the time it took for her scabbard to hit the ground after she unsheathed her sword. His four other sisters are all incredibly skilled and intelligent. However, ever since he was young. Ryan has only ever wanted to be a Huntsman. Its the only occupation that would work for him. After saving a group of Faunus from a massive wolf Grimm, Ryan was scouted out by Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon.

Weapons
BLUE DUTCHESS:
This little number was a custom job by Ryan's sister Melody. Its a weighty steel blade made for hacking, piercing and dismembering Grimm. It is an experimental weapon that Melody only trusted her brother to try out. Only he was expendable enough to try this dangerous weapon. Blue Dutchess can build up kinetic energy to fill one of its six chambers. Pulling the trigger on the handle releases a blast of destructive force at whatever Ryan points the blade at.

CHECKERED SPADE:
This gun once belonged to Ryan's Aunt Daisy. She is former Huntress who now owns her own bakery in Vale. The decals on the gun are in reference to her Semblance, which let her shoot with incredible accuracy, making her an "Ace". This handgun is capable of blowing the heads off of smaller Grimm. Even the largest Grimm will find that this firearm can put a few holes in it.

CYBERNETIC ARM:
After losing half of his arm to a massive wolf Grimm. Ryan had Melody replace it with a well-made cybernetic replacement. It is attached to his nerves so he can use it just like a regular arm. It is very durable, made from a titanium alloy that can take heavy punishment. Ryan's arm is always equipped with three different gadgets at any time. He swaps them out every mission. This arm is his only tool that regularly utilizes Dust. For Example Ryan can use it to cover the ground with a thin layer of ice with the Frost Cannon. He can send enemies helplessly flying into the air with the Gravity Lifter. With the Rotation Fist, he can push things backwards with strong winds. Of course he has features which don't use Dust like the built in scroll features, the taser or the grapple hand. Though because functions like these are extremely draining. Ryan is restricted to only using three. Any more would overload his arm, shorting it out. In this state, it becomes a bulky hunk of metal that does nothing for Ryan.

Semblance
Ryan's semblance is Emotional Conversion. It allows him to absorb the negative emotions of those around him and turn it into power for himself. If enough negative emotion is absorbed, Ryan can enter a state where all his natural capabilities are temporarily increased. However, in this state, all of Ryan's darker impulses are heightened and he can potentially become a threat to those around him. It can also make him reckless, as his healing capabilities are boosted to levels where he can heal from being run through.

Fighting Style
Ryan is a balanced fighter with both short and long ranged styles of combat. With Blue Duchess, he will slice, dice and cut up anything that finds itself on the other end of the blade. As soon as enough kinetic energy is built up in the cylinder. Ryan can pull the trigger and fire a blast of energy that can tear up Grimm. Ryan is a talented marksman with Checkered Spade, capable of hitting targets from miles away. This hand cannon is capable of dealing damage to even the hardiest of Grimm. Finally Ryan's arm is his most technical piece of equipment. It can hold up to three upgrades at any time, each giving him a different ability to use. Finally Ryan's Semblance enables him to greatly boost all of his natural capabilities to superhuman limits. He is faster, stronger and more durable. His senses are heightened and he can heal faster.

Name: Corvo Hellebore

Age: 17

Physique: Standing at about six feet tall and with a very athletic build, Blaec is in perfect shape to be a hunter. He's definitely muscular, but not enough to slow him down in combat. His hair is blonde, spiky, and parted slightly to his left, while his eyes are an icy blue, a trait he shares with his father. His casual attire consists of a white and black jacket with its sleeves rolled up, a simple white t-shirt, and a pair of black pants and black boots. He tends to wear a pair of fingerless gloves as well. When he's wearing his Beacon uniform, he tends to keep the tie a bit loose around his neck, and prefers to roll up his shirt sleeves. He often forgoes the school jacket, but when he does, he usually keeps it unbuttoned. Teachers tend to glare at him when they notice his rather casual appearance, but few choose to really scold him about it. He constantly carries around a pair of earphones as well.

Personality: Blaec is rather well known for his devil may care attitude. He is incredibly casual and flippant towards everyone he encounters, taunting even the strongest opponents, and is known for being rather talkative during combat. He shows an almost disinterested attitude towards danger of all forms, which has lead many to call him arrogant or cocky. To some degree, this is true, Blaec is confident in his physical ability and enjoys fighting. He's also got a rebellious streak a mile wide and is known for ignoring rules that he disagrees with. However, he does care deeply for his friends, and will become serious should the situation call for it. He's a good person at heart, and can always be counted on to do the right thing no matter the circumstances. Nonetheless, Blaec never loses his care-free personality, no matter what situation he's in, and usually maintains a laid-back demeanor during tense situations.

Bio: Born to a famed Grimm researcher mother and a huntsman father, Blaec had a rather unusual childhood. His mother was a mysterious woman, kind and intelligent, but she spoke little about her work. She disappeared when he was three years old, leaving his father to raise him alone. The two moved around quite a bit for his dad's work, never staying in one place for very long. Throughout his childhood, Blaec trained to be a huntsman under his father's tutelage. The boy seemed to have a knack for combat, and, once the pair eventually settled in Vale, he was admitted to a proper academy. He was a gifted student, but put a minimal amount of work into most of his classes. During this time, the boy spent much of his time researching his mother's disappearance, but was never able to find anything worth noting.

Blaec's father fell to Grimm a few years into his son's time in academy. The loss of both his parents at a rather young age left its mark on the boy for a time, and many of his instructors worried about him as he continued his studies. Still, he performed admirably, and eventually graduated on track to attend Beacon Academy.

A blade passed down to Blaec from his father, it's nearly as long as he is tall. The hilt of the blade can accept a dust crystal into it, and, when the lever above the handle is gripped, transfers the dust's element into Blaec's spectral projections.

Choosing to forego the popular gun-melee combo that many hunters go with, Blaec wields a pair of revolvers that he designed himself. Both guns are identical in function and design, the only difference being that Oblivion, pictured above, is mostly black with a white barrel, while Oathkeeper is inverted in its color scheme.

Semblance: Aestral Assistance - At will, Blaec can call forth a spectral projection of himself to aid him in combat. Ranging in size from a few inches tall to a clone standing nearly fifteen feet in height, he usually avoids creating a full copy of himself due to how physically taxing it is. Thus, he tends to only conjures up an arm or a hand to aid him in combat. He can grab, punch, pull, throw, and even summon a blade should he choose to. When he does summon an entire clone of himself, his energy drains quickly, and using it for too long or creating a projection that is too large can cause him to pass out if he uses his ability for too long. Using Reverence and a dust crystal, Blaec can imbue his projections with various different elements, such as adding fire or ice to his attacks.

Fighting Style: Blaec loves playing with his opponents,which usually takes the form of casually mouthing off to them as much as possible. He's usually very calm and playful during battle, especially if there's no one in immediate danger. However, when lives are at stake, he does take things a bit more seriously and will focus more on efficiency rather than fun. His cocky attitude can get him into trouble at times, but it often works in his favor too: his opponents will often get angry, and thus distracted, when he taunts them. It's not really an intentional strategy, it's just a byproduct of his teasing attitude.

In battle, Blaec tends to mix things up between his sword, guns, and semblance. He keeps his opponents on their toes, constantly switching tactics and weapons depending on the situation, and can be quite unpredictable. He has a habit of listening to music constantly, even in battle, however it doesn't seem to impair his focus or hearing at all.

Brief Bio
Born to a family of rich arms dealers, she has had everything she ever wanted and needed. Her parents were rarely around, but her two elder siblings more than made up for them and made her feel loved. As she wasn’t expected to be heiress to the family business, she was free to choose what she wanted to do in the future. She chose to be a huntress, and that leads her to her life as a huntress in training.
Weapons
A mechanical bow that can be separated into two large curved daggers, designed for a backhand wield style. Carries a quiver with her at all times, with compartments to differentiate what kind of arrowhead she needs (dust-filled, explosive, tracking etc)
Semblance
Can completely negate physics (force, momentum) etc in a small area around her. Useful for dodging bullets and stopping a punch or kick long enough for her to retaliate.
Fighting Style
Despite being known as an archer and owning a bow, Lilli prefers close quarters combat where she can use her semblance for advantage. She’s a pretty good sniper when the situation calls for it, but is best when using daggers. She prefers dodging and counterattacking rather than charging straight in.

In case one is wondering. The most notable thing about Angie is that she wheelchair-bound. Her legs are paralyzed. She sits on a motorized wheelchair that can also be pushed by others too. She always either wears black, white or gray dresses. Mostly white. She has slightly silver eyes (She really doesn't have "the silver eyes" it just looks like she has) Sometimes she is mistook as a family member of the Schnee family.

Kind, soft spoken and courageous. Angie is a kind hearted soul. Always looking out for others than herself. She has a strong determined attitude towards others. Showing her miss goody-two-shoes at all times. Angie is humble to herself and to others. Always respecting others even if they don't return the favor. Her negative side is hidden and always held back. There are times that she really lost her cool but this is rare to happen since she has very long patience. The reason why she is like this is because she likes making friends. She is very afraid to be alone. She always finds ways to make friends. She has a gentle nature that can really soothe the atmosphere.

Brief Bio
Ever since from birth. She was already born handicapped. Angie spent most of her life rolling around on a wheelchair since childhood. With two loving white haired parents and 5 older brothers and 3 older sisters. She was youngest family member. The Nether storm family owns a two huge hospitals at Atlas. Both buildings from separate parents. Despite being handicapped Angie always looked up to her older siblings. She wanted to become a huntress herself, even though it may seem impossible for someone like her. It took a long convincing for Angie to convince herparents that she can serve Remnant just like the rest of huntsmen and huntresses siblings she had. In time they agreed to let her fight. Fresh out of Atlas. Angie pursues her dream to become like her older brothers and sisters.

Weapons
Queen's throne:
A fully motorized normal wheelchair. Custom made just for Angie herself. It has a few controls on it's armrests. There are joysticks on each arm rests. It controls the high traction wheels speed and steering. (The max speed is 25kph) It is colored in silver and white colors. Contrasting each other. The engine is located under the wheelchair. It is powered by electricity and uses electric dust as a back power source. What makes this thing so powerful is that it has two box styled rocket launchers attached in the back both, parallel to each other. Both each have four barrels. Each barrel contains 4 explosive rockets inside. These rockets can destroy stone walls and leave smoke after. These rockets are more compact and lighter. The wheel chair has three firing modes. single fire, rapid and scatter (Launches all rockets at once. To fire these rockets there are a few buttons on the arm rest that fires them off and adjust the rocket launcher's angles to her liking. These rockets can also fit in other rocket launchers if needed so. She also has dust rockets of multiple varieties in case if she needs it. All with different effects. The downfalls of this wheel chair is that that if she is out of ammo, she'll have to manually reload both launchers herself, which takes almost forever to reload since it roughly takes her 5-6 minutes of doing so. If she wants it done faster. She'll have to ask for assistance to manually reload it for her. It will take them only one minute to fully reload it. Plus the dust rockets are expensive and her wheelchair is hard to maintain if she does it all by herself. There is a small IV attachment to it to like a regular wheelchair which is nice. The wheel chair weighs 1/4th of a ton so really heavy.

Monkey wrench:
There is nothing special about the silver colored monkey wrench. It looks just like every other monkey wrench out there. She uses this mostly to reload her wheelchair and fix the engine too. She uses this monkey wrench as a close quarters combat weapon to repel enemies from her.

Solar flare:

A old antique styled flare gun that is only used in rare occasions. These occasions are the times that she has to be carried around for piggyback ride or whatever. Times that she has to go somewhere she has no access to her wheelchair. This flare gun works like a regular flare gun. It doesn't have much stopping power as other guns but it's better than going in empty handed. It also accepts shotgun rounds and dust. Angie doesn't have any shotgun ammo so she has to stick with weak flare rounds.

Semblance
Faunus copy ability:
A rather unusual semblance. She got this Semblance from her Uncle. Despite being born a human. This Semblance allows her to copy almost any Faunus-like traits from an actual Faunus. She'll grow cat ears/dog's if she comes in physical contact with a Dog or Cat Faunus. Grow horns or tails/fishtails if she touches the specific Faunus. She hardly uses this Semblance because her combat style doesn't align with her powers. She has to physically touch a Faunus with her own hands or skin rather to the others skin. Although these traits won't last forever for it disappears after 24 hours of exposure. She can dispose this ability manually if she doesn't need it.

Fighting Style
Unlike most Huntsmen and huntresses. She prefers to be in the back rather in the front lines for she excels at long range combat. Almost no enemy is beyond her reach. She prefers medium, far and very far range combat. In fact she can fight in mountains well. Her destructive force of fighting can do a big push for the team and herself as she always maintains the distance between her and the enemy. Her rockets goes in arcs. So open fields are are her biggest advantage. She is stronger when there is a partner or better yet a team covering her up in close range. She has taken down nevermores in the sky more than any of her siblings so air type enemies are no problem to her. The are certain areas Angie can't go as she is bound to a wheelchair. So steep mountains and even stairs are her biggest disadvantage. Any area that wheelchairs cannot go further on. She is completely helpless if the enemy is up close.​

Faraday is completely motionless when still, and brisk and light on his feet when he is moving. He doesn't look like he weighs much, with his skinny body and unimposing height (5'5", or 165 cm)- but his contrasting broad shoulders and thick arms are reminescent of a lumberjack (and maybe those guys who skip leg day.) If not for this one distinction, he'd look like the most stereotypical nerd/professor wannabe.
He has his brown wavy hair in a very debonair cut, with a short mullet; just the right length to tie it into a high little ponytail. Using a -really- long white ribbon with an arrow motif that appears elsewhere on his clothing, mind you. He's a little peculiar like that.
He also dresses somewhat old-fashioned, all button-up shirts and long-backed vests, and he sticks to a silver/brown/white color scheme.
His eyes are rarely visible from behind his very thick, large, round spectacles, but their irises are pale blue.

Total nerd. First impressions might be that it's difficult to hold him for long. After all, he might be the busiest kid on campus, between studies, juggling his personal projects and working odd-jobs as a handyman/carpenter to earn the cash to support them. He operates on a tight schedule down to his tea and bathroom breaks (and those are very frequent, what with his caffeine addiction). You'll find he's always on time.
If you do manage to edge in some interaction (probably on a tea break), Faraday is a polite and amicable scholar with a breezy disposition and a sharp mind. While technology nowadays is more advanced than mechanical engineering, Faraday's favorite hobby- which he immerses himself in- is to tinker and develop clockwork mechanisms. This is influenced by his affection for antique and old-fashioned things and old-fashioned ways. (He has a collection of black-and-white-film oldschool romance movies, too...) He's a DIY kind of guy; likes to make his own furniture, bake his own bread, walk instead of ride, talk instead of text, play his own swingin' piano.

It could be said he's rather eccentric. He only reaches out to others over academic or team-relevant matters, so at first, it might seem like he has no interest in pursuing any personal relations and that his friendly disposition only comes from his politeness. That impression is incorrect; he's simply too busy and content with his life to notice the opportunity to make friends. Breaking schedule doesn't particularly upset him, but he does prefer to keep to it; we are creatures of habit, after all.
While he could be called a prude with a high sense of propriety, he has the profound lack of libido to back it up. Doesn't keep him from being a bit of a romantic when it comes to fiction and appreciating other's relationships.
Despite his age he often finds himself explaining things to others, and he certainly enjoys it- so he would like to be a professor in the future and teach.

Brief Bio
Faraday's mom is a sweetheart who often sends him home-baked cookies, perfumed cards, and the like; she was a huntress back in her 20s and then a popular jazz singer back in her 30s. Faraday's father is a carpenter who began teaching him his trade from a young age, so for your building and renovation projects (even plumbing), you'll find cheap help from Faraday, who is always happy to provide a service in return for some change to fuel his long-time clockwork hobby! His life has not been marked by any dramatic moments; his parents are a loving couple that still honeymoons frequently.

Weapons
Like most Hunters weapons, Faraday's weapon has multiple forms. In melee it is a poleaxe shaped like a pendulum, and in ranged it's a rifle that shoots piercing clock needles.
While his armor is not a weapon, it is made with the same technology as hunter weapons and can fold into a compact form.
Faraday usually brings a set of small clockwork mechanisms around with him that can't do anything in terms of attacking, but can help him with his semblance.

Semblance
When he imbues his aura into clockwork, his semblance allows him to use said clockwork to control the flow of time for objects or living things in contact with the clockwork. As such, his semblance can only really be used in combination with mechanical engineering; when the imbued device is faulty, broken or damaged, his powers no longer work correctly, if at all. When the mechanism runs out of aura, it stops working, but unless it is physically damaged, he can get it to work again by refueling it with aura. His semblance also allows him to summon a holographic clock dial around any mechanism he imbues his aura into- a larger dial requires more aura.

The way time control works: Can slow down or speed up things in contact with the mechanism, but the speed up/slow down only lasts until the mechanisms runs out of aura.
The way space control works: When something or someone (including himself) is on one of the hours of his clock dial, Faraday can displace them to another hour position on the dial, or freeze them onto that hour position (this usually can't last long until he runs out of aura). As usual, if the central mechanism on which the clock dial is rooted is destroyed, his semblance will fall apart. He can also only have one clock dial active at a time.

Fighting Style
By encasing himself in clockwork armor imbued with his semblance, Faraday can speed up his own time and enjoy the benefit of enhanced perception and reflexes and slower spread of damage from internal wounds, as well as root a clock dial on himself instead of on an easily destroyed object (can't teleport himself- only other things- if he does this). He shoots mechanical clingers to give allies speed boosts (limited time buff) and on opponents to slow them (limited time debuff). He often deploys a mechanism with a summoned dial so that he can teleport between its dial cells to evade attack and teleport enemies to confuse them or expose them to the attacks of teammates.
Faraday is mainly a support ally; his offensive power output and defensive ability is low, but he is adept and precise at manipulating the field/map. When fighting alone, his style is 'kiting'; focusing on evasion, drawing the enemy into an unfavorable position, and then striking at them only when the time is right. As such he may appear cowardly even though he is simply wearing down his opponent in the safest way possible.

Physique: Zure stands at a very respectable 5'8", and weighs an average weight at that, with distinct muscle definition from years of training. She wears an eyepatch over her right eye, her other eye being a dark seafoam green. Her hair is strawberry blonde and long enough to reach her lower back but she will almost always have it tied up into a ponytail or in some style to keep it held up.-

Personality: A strong-willed and driven young woman, Azure is dauntless, confident, and tough as nails. A fearless warrior, Zure pulls no punches in a fight, but is not brash nor reckless, a cool, level-headed individual most of the time. That isn't to say she's emotionless- more than capable of showing glee, sadness, and sarcasm when the moment calls for it, but her personality is rather controlled. Zure remains collected while on the battlefield and off of it.

Zure is naturally a kind individual, who desires to protect the innocent and fight Grimm, but she's also quite competitive. She's not boastful or rude, but she always tries to be the best at what she does, and enjoys being praised by others.

Backstory: Born in the frigid northern continent in the Kingdom of Vale, Zure was raised by a family of Huntsmen, who worked in the Atlesian military. From an early age, Zure was groomed to be a Huntsmen, with both weapons training and hand-to-hand combat on the menu for the young girl. A tough fighter from an early age, Zure was trained by her parents heavily. Before the age of 14 she had already unlocked her Semblance, built her weapon, and had become hand-to-hand combat machine.

Even injury could not stop the young girl. After an incident with an Arma Geist that ended with a damaged and nonfuctional right eye, Zure only worked even harder to become a more capable Huntress.

During this time, her family had a falling out with the Atlesian military, and thus quit the organization, moving to the island of Patch in Vale. The girl would soon be sent to Beacon Academy, where she would work to become a Huntress even harder than before.

Unchained Glory


Despite its name, Unchained Glory is chained - it's a chainsaw, or a chainsword, standing at nearly Zure's height with 4'11" of pure death, though it doesn't feel that heavy at all, thanks to constant tinkering on Zure's part. The motorized saw switches between several modes. Once exiting standby, Zure can switch it to either Limited, Half Throttle, or Full Throttle. At Limited, the weapon is activated and sharp, but does not rotate and is effectively a bastard sword. At half-throttle, the sawblade rotates at a normal chainsaw pace, using any kind of dust to fuel it. At full throttle, the weapon consumes dust to enhance its ability (i.e. fire dust makes flaming death wheel, gravity makes flying death wheel, etc) and spins as fast as possible. How much power the weapon brings relies on how much dust Zure brings to a firefight.

Unchained Glory can be enhanced with dust, and also features a launch mechanism, allowing Zure to fire the swirling saw blade off the head, slicing everything in its path. It also functions well as a makeshift shield.

Though she infinitely prefers to use Unchained Glory, Zure also carries a machete with her which she uses in case Unchained Glory is out of gas or is missing.

Semblance:
Battle Sight


Discovered after losing her eye, Zure's semblance gives her greater sight than ever before. With focus, Zure can attune herself into her environment and can thus "see" a wide scope of options, including possible weak points and, far more impressively, potential attacks, before they happen. This type of information, while amazingly useful, overwhelms her brain quickly, and thus can only be maintained for 5 minutes before a severe migraine and temporary blindless ensues. Also, thos ability only shows the most likely methods of attack, and as such unpredictable foes are less prone to being countered.


Fighting Style
Quite simply, Zure is a melee fighter. A combination of advanced hand-to-hand combat, her lethal weapon, and her dangerous semblance makes her nearly indomitable when in close range with another individual. Zure is a burst fighter- that is, she specializes in quickly dispatching foes in melee range in small periods of time. While she is extremely capable in close range, she lacks the necessary tools to attack foes that specialize in midair or long-range combat.

Extra:
-owns a wolf named Amarok, or Rok. Also missing an eye, and as such wears an eyepatch. Zure treats it like a puppy.

Personality: Aegis is outgoing and often tries to make peace and boost others' morale with her chipper optimism, which may irritate others as she can come off as pushy instead. Like her cousin Faraday, she is a bit of a nerd but instead of old tech, she's all about that new tech. She is prone to lose herself in research, believing that she must be able to support others in any way she can, whether it be with her defensive barriers or with technical knowledge of weapons or Grimms. Despite readings, Aegis is painfully naive about the way the world works primarily due to her world having previously consisted of only her own massive family. She might know the facts of history, but fail to grasp the emotions left lingering as a result of history. She'll know the statistics of war and why they went to war, but not understand why peace couldn't happen to avoid war to begin with or the heated emotions therein. She is trusting and not terribly street smart.

Brief Bio: Aegis has a large family and is the youngest with six other brothers. Her father was also the seventh son of a line of sons, so there exists countless uncles. Despite being the youngest, she would act as both mother and secretary at times to keep her brothers in line. This worked primarily because they doted on her and were willing to set aside differences (at least temporarily) to appease their little sister. Otherwise, they were quite competitive against each other, though Aegis herself lacks that competitive trait. Further along the family line, Aegis is also Faraday's cousin. They've met each other a few times through family gatherings, but don't know each other well beyond that.

Every single one of her brothers became a huntsmen, so it was only natural that she would follow suit. Her brothers, of course, disagreed with the decision and refused to support her endeavors for fear of her safety. Aegis admired the profession's declarations of keeping the peace, and found that becoming a huntress fit in her ideals of wanting to dispense of strife and do good in the world. If she can help keep the peace between her brothers, surely the rest of the world would be a cinch, right?

Weapons: Vambraces with built in energy gun and pneumatic punch.

Semblance: Barrier glyphs. These glyphs can either absorb or deflect impacts. When absorbing, the shields can last for a few hits and will travel with whatever it was attached to. When deflecting hits, it will only deflect once. Aegis can use the latter to travel distances in the air by having it deflect her own steps, and can also push others out of harms way.

Fighting Style: Aegis typically plays a support role, aiding with positioning of others and protecting them from hits. She can also take on the role of tank if needed, acting as bait or distraction to pull hits away from others. She has never viewed herself as capable of taking the spotlight or "hero" role due to the nature of her semblance, but as she still wants to be a force of positive change in the world, she does her best to support those who are flashier and can do more damage than she.

physique - Lash stands at 5'11" and weighs 130 pounds, making him quite underweight. However, because of his reptilian faunus, this doesn't affect him much.. Speaking of which, he has yellow, snake-like eyes, and large, retractable fangs in his mouth. His hair is a golden blonde, and his skin follows suit, being quite pale to match. He often wears aviators to hide his eyes, and hides his fangs when he smiles.

Personality -
Lash appears quite docile to most people, due to his bright blonde hair, and his smile, which could warm the heart of the coldest pirate. However, anyone who truly knows Lash would tell you, that couldn't be further from the truth. Lash is a troublemaker at heart, who doesn't much like the idea of authority. While he doesn't do it often, he is a very good liar. Without some form of detection powers or machinery or whatever, the vast majority of people wouldn't be able to tell fact from fallacy when it comes to Lash. His reptilian eyes are to blame for this. Because a lot of emotion reading and such comes from the eyes, it's very hard to decipher what Lash is thinking, or if he's telling the truth or not.

Regardless of whether or not Lash can lie, he's still a very sincere person when he needs to be. He'll always be there to talk to you in the middle of the night when you can't sleep, be your shoulder to cry on when you need one, or just be a friend to go out on the town with. Altogether, Lash is a pretty wholesome dude who knows his ins-and-outs of common courtesy.

Something he's not great at, however, is social cues. He doesn't take hints very well, and can come off as quite abrasive sometimes. Lash doesn't usually take rules into consideration, and often is late to most things. He generally does the right thing, but in his own way.

Brief Bio

Weapons - CHAIN WHIPS - Lash uses two chain whips on each arm, which attach to leather arm braces at the base. The barbs lock into the sides of the braces, and the chain curls up next to them. He can use the chain whips not only as weapons, but also as tools. He can stick the points into walls and use them to climb, wrap them around high points and swing from them, and even, with enough force, throw them at a surface to create a zipline or tightrope. The points are also tipped with a poison on each of the barbs that works very similarly to his own venom.

SECONDARY WEAPON - FANGS

If need be, in very dire situations, he can use his fangs as weapons, since they do indeed secrete venom. This venom, much like a pit viper, causes severe bleeding by restricting coagulation in the bloodstream of the victim, making any wound, no matter the size, potentially fatal. Also, at the spot of the bite, necrosis may occur, and can spread quite rapidly. The venom also may cause paralysis, taking about an hour or so to take effect.


Semblance - Gaze
Lash's semblance is, in short, medusa, but less lethal. When using his semblance, anyone or anything that looks into his eyes is entrapped in his gaze, and cannot move. They will simply stand still, awestruck. From the perspective of the victim, everything is going crazy. Think of it as downing a gallon of acid, popping 10 of every kind of pill in the world, and huffing a pint of glue. Now multiply that by a hundred.

The victim can not escape the gaze without outside interference. Most notably, Lash closing his eyes. When the victim is released from the gaze, they are left in a state of shock for a significant amount of time. Further, once they're out of shock, they will be left in a state of confusion, as they will have no memory of entering the gaze.

Fighting Style - Batshit crazy
Simply read the title. In a fight, Lash has no mercy. He will find any kind of weakness in an opponent, and relentlessly exploit it.

He rarely stops moving in a fight, and often uses his chain whips to traverse terrain more effectively. On larger opponents, Lash has even been known to mount his target and attack from on top of them.

While this strategy may work on weak-minded adversaries, enemies can sometimes take advantage of the fact that Lash often goes into fights without a plan, with a "wing it" mindset. This makes him somewhat impulsive in battle, and doesn't often think of the outcome of what he does.
