In 2369, people are born genetically engineered with a digital clock on their forearm. When they turn 25 years old, they stop aging and their clock begins counting down from one year; when it reaches zero that person "times out" and dies instantly. Time has become the universal currency; it is used to pay for day-to-day expenses and can be transferred between people or capsules. The country has been divided into "time zones" or "Districts" based on the wealth of the population.
District 12 is where this Roleplay starts, 12 is the last and poorest Time Zone, Basically a large slum where much of the population resides. Most of the Population in 12 go day to day barely having a days worth of time, some people only have hours. In this world Time is the only currency, its used to buy food, pay rent ect.
You get paid in time, people can mug you for your time (By grabbing your wrist sort of), if your time clock reaches 0 then you die.
So basically District 1 is where the rich people with thousands of years of time live.
