Her family has always been important to her and because of that, she'll often do some unexpected things in order to protect them and show her love. How does your character feel towards Royal Roulette?
• As much as Yulian likes to pretend he doesn't have an opinion, bringing back the Royal Roulette is probably the dumbest decision his parents and the Imperial Council ever made. They've always cared more about the country rather than their own children, so he guesses she shouldn't be that surprised.

What does your character hope to achieve?
• He doesn't know what there is to achieve in something that's basically a game. If anything, maybe he'll get more freedom from his parents.

eyes - on a daily basis her eyes are a deep, calm blue color. however they can change into a stormy blue, aka gray and blue mixed together. usually this is the only other combination color of her eyes you will see, as they haven't showed signs of any of colors other than those two.

distinguishing features - her eyebrows are very straight and quite thick, never penciled in because of this. they are also very dark, causing them to stand out compared to others. her bright and cheerful smile is another feature that you often notice. though most people, surprisingly, notice the scar right below her bottom lip. this was caused by her falling out of a tree when she was younger, having to get stitches. it's still very noticeable and prominent.

reasons - her parents wanted her to find a suitable guy. she wanted an adventure. hey, put two and two together and what do you get? you get estelle signing up for this crazy ride. naturally she never thought she'd actually qualify since she can't do more than boil water and paint a few squares on a canvas (lies tho)

.She's not a perfect story- she's no fairy tale.

estelle is a unique girl. she's not like the usual 'oh my god my hair isn't perfect anymore" or "do you know how fucking long it took me to do this winged liner?" she's just, well estelle. she's the girl that you would often find playing soccer with the boys, getting more cuts and bruises than most. she'd be covered in dirt, and even though she wasn't good at the game, she'd still play it. of course now she doesn't play soccer. her games include fighting with girls over some damn guys that she couldn't care less about. where's a cup of coffee when you need it.

as she's a twenty-one year old, estelle has matured into a rather bold and rash force that is often overlooked. with her plain appearance, as she rarely wears much makeup, she blends in with the crowds. she's very quiet, whether you've known her for an hour, for eleven years. she prefers the comfort of her studio, and being able to make whatever her brain so chooses. however if she does talk and come out of her reserved shell, estelle is quite the quirky girl. having a contagious laughter and french accent, this girl is a blast to talk to. you can go off on the craziest subjects, it can go from coffee to aliens in two seconds flat. you never know what you'll do when you hangout with her.

though a very funny and quirky girl to be with, this french artist certainly can fend for herself. usually teased for her lack of a womanly figure, estelle has grown used to being the quote on quote secret savage of every social situation she's involved in. whether it's with her smartass comment, or her throwing a cup of water in your face, she will manage to stick up for herself no matter what. usually you won't see this side of her, as normally she just gets really riled up and goes off on you before storming off to work on her artwork. as she knows it's not polite to yell at someone, estelle will still yell and swear at you.

in terms of romance, as that's what she's basically here for (to manage to win the heart of a prince, go her) estelle is a bit lost. because she's had such a lack of romantic experience due to her devotion to art and her parents not approving of anyone who comes within a five mile radius of them, she doesn't exactly know what to do. a bit awkward, estelle will sort of not talk to the person she's interested in, just for a little while, but then she'll want to spend time with them. not overly romantic or cheesy, she prefers quality time when they can talk, or even just sit back and relax, maybe read a book and drink a cup of coffee. but naturally her dream romance is out the window now that she's competing to marry one of the princes. go figure.

very adventurous, it's unlikely that estelle will ever stay in one place for the rest of her life. she has the undying urge to travel, see new places, experience new cultures, learn new languages, and be exposed to the beauty of the world. because of this, she often feels suffocated and tied down, especially in relationships that are needy and constantly need reassurance. her own insecurities are blocked by her sense of adventure and peace with nature and the world. traveling is also a way to help inspire her, and open her mind to find new ways to deal with personal issues. she plans on traveling across the world if she can.

laughing at the smallest of things, estelle finds humor is pretty much everything. she enjoys a good sense of humor and thinks that being happy is the best thing you can do. even if you are suffering, she feels that you should find a reason to smile, a reason to still live. she is a very warm person to be around in all honesty. it's interesting to understand how she works, how she's able to see the brightness and creativity throughout the world. estelle won't be attracted to people who aren't interesting nor bright. she needs someone who won't be scared of accepting their flaws, and is ready to learn to live in a way where they can happily understand how important life really is.

Gemini wears basically anything. Anything she can move in at least. The few requirements she has for her clothing are that 1) She must be able to breathe, 2) She can at least run without any restrictions, and 3) No dresses that hide her entire foot. Her requirements are hard to satisfy, being in the running for the title of Ms Romanov kind of dictates that she'll have to eventually get a dress that breaks one, or probably all of these requirements. But for now she has no qualms with what she has to wear, since they are all relatively comfortable and other than a bit of boundary stretching, don't break her rules to any extreme proportions. She does have a go-to style though, and that would be a sort of... Boyish style? Well, not really boyish, just something that's very apparently comfortable. Hoodies, shorts, t-shirts, you can't go wrong with those. If she's asked to dress up she's probably sport a leather jacket of some sort. She owns like 10 of them with small differences in each one.
Gemini isn't a huge fan of makeup honestly, though she isn't opposed to it. She of course, does dabble in some light eye shadow and mascara, maybe even eyeliner. But she doesn't go overboard with contouring and what not. Her lip colour choices are typically nude or a light pink. Nothing too bold. She keeps it simple, so if she sweats, she doesn't have dirty raccoon streaks all over her face.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT THE ROYAL ROULETTE? Maxine's mother used to tell her about one that was hosted many, many years ago. It had been quite a success, and it brought joy to the Russian people, as the royal family were engaging with the public. Maxine is grateful that her name was chosen and that she can help her mother financially if all goes well. She also can't wait to make friends there. But, and she's sure most of the girls are, she's nervous to actually meet the princes, and she just hopes that she can learn to love them. Her main focus right now is finding a studio to practice ballet, and a field to garden.

WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS? After her father left Max and her mother, the girl always wanted to help her mother. Her mother would spend 24 hours, 6 days a week to support both herself and Max. Maxine has wanted nothing more than to pay back her mother, and to know that she has a chance to do that in the Royal Roulette drove her to sign up for it. Deep down, she hopes to fall in love, but her main priority is her mother.

BIOGRAPHY

For as long as Maxine can remember, sadness always traced the lines of her mother's shoulders, and unnecessary wrinkles made Katelyn Williams look ten years older. Her despair hadn't always been there, Maxine was sure of that, but for what she knew, her mother hadn't been happy in a long time. She knows that it had to do with her father, Dante Williams.

Katelyn and Dante had fallen head over heels for each other when they met in their first year of college. Both appeared to be bright adults that knew what they wanted in life. They didn't. True colours were shown when Katelyn announced that she was pregnant. Dante, who'd been involved in multiple gangs in the Atlanta area, and was battling a drug addiction, wanted nothing to do with his child, and despite expressing this to Katelyn, she refused to keep him away from their child.

Maxine grew with a mother that was trying so hard to keep her relationship stable, and a father that was hardly there. In fact, the only time he came home was to get some money from her mother, then he'd been gone for another week or so. Katelyn wanted Maxine to lead a "normal young girl life". Maxine was enrolled into ballet in the nearby community center. At first, she despised the style of dance because of her pretentious teacher that reeked of peanut butter, but she grew to love the activity, and to this day, she keeps up with it. She'd also had a fondness towards agriculture, and by the time she was ten years old, she had quite the green thumb. She'd grow plants and crops from just behind her house, and she'd record her progress in small, worn-out leather journals.

The young girl never asked for much. She never asked for seconds at dinner, nor did she ever ask for a new pair of shoes when hers had grown torn and ragged. But when she asked her mother about the mystery that is her father, all hell broke loose with Katelyn. It was a topic that she urged to avoid at all costs, for at that time, Dante was nothing but a memory. Maxine wanted to be like other girls, with fathers that picked them up from school and gave them hugs and kisses. But she did not have that life. And for that, she felt empty inside.

Something had been growing inside of Katelyn during this time. A brain tumor that would leave her in a hospital bed, and would lead Maxine to joining the Royal Roulette, for a chance to work with the royal family, and even get a small amount of money to help her mother. Max doesn't believe in fairy tales, but this could be just it.

She's also terrified to be around so many people she doesn't know for god knows how long she'll be there. She's doing this mainly because her father signed her up and for whatever the hell reason she was chosen. However she may not admit it, but she wants to find out if she really is worthy of the kind of title Princess of Russia holds. Not only that, but is she worthy of love?

Biography: Maggie’s childhood was normal, if a bit empty of peer interaction. Her parents were devout Catholics that took her to Church every Sunday, but when she got older they agreed to let her stay home and work on homework. He served in the second world war as General of the 'Tweede Divizie' he won battles against the germans but ultimately his division got surrounded and he got captured for the rest of the war. Once the war was over and he got freed from captivity he tried to start his own Monarchist party, but it ultimately failed due to the lack of a base of popularity. Today he just sat out retirement and attended royal events, until he got invited to the inauguration of a new Russian monarch. Biography:
Growing up as a prince in the palace was a lonely and painful experience for Xavier littered with broken promises and endless demands. His parents failure to keep to the many promises they made him led him to feel neglected and starved for love and affection. Xavier always felt like a constant letdown frequently disappointing his mother when his attempts to get her attention or a word of affection or praise went awry. One incident that happened in front of a group of foreign dignitaries where he broke a piece of glassware with his antics earned him a slap that left him with a scar when he cut his cheek on a shard of the broken glass. He got along far better with his father who would play silly games with him when his schedule permitted it but more often than not he would find himself surrounded by servants or tutors tasked with instructing him on his duties and for the highly affectionate and active Xavier, this did not sit well with him. Being the second son, he was prepared for life as a spare to the heir, forcing him to learn the duties of the king like his older brother but with the likelihood that he would never ascend to the position he would spend his youth preparing for in the event that his brother could not become king and this made him extremely unhappy. Having been slower to pick up new skills compared to his brothers, Xavier always felt inferior to them especially with his mother's frequent disapproval of his behaviour as a young boy. He was jealous of the happy children outside the palace and as he grew older, the happy couples, coming to despise his status as a prince. In his free time, he would frequently watch movies and long for the lives of the characters and the happiness they found. His strong desire to be loved and the influence of the movies led Xavier to become very romantically inclined and believe that love would be the key to finding the happiness that was oft absent from his life.

As a young teenager he actively sought out love holding fast to his belief that it would bring him happiness even as he grew older. Rather naive and trusting as a youth, he developed a strong attraction to a girl in his social circle and believed it to be love, confessing and developing a relationship with her. The Queen disapproved and intervened, certain that the girl had impure intentions and the relationship would eventually harm Xavier and the royal family. She had been right but Xavier's affection and sincerity had slowly won the girl over and led her to really fall for her. The opposition of his mother with whom he had a tense relationship only made Xavier more determined than ever to be with her, causing a huge scandal. He showered her with declarations of forever and always made sure to show her he loved her, determined not to lose her and fearful that if he didn't his mother's machinations would sway her into believing otherwise. It was only after his mother relented in her attempts to put a stop to the relationship that Xavier slowly came to the realisation that he did not really love the girl or at the very least no longer did as his feelings had cooled off leading to a teary breakup. It would mark the first in a string of failed relationships for Xavier as he later realised that his mother had been right about her having coveted his status. Regardless, this did not shake his belief that he would eventually find the right one and though with each failed relationship, his fear that he would end up alone grew it only made him more determined and relentless in his attempts to find love leading to a string of bad decisions that included moving on to someone else quickly after each breakup piling on the affection out of the fear that he would lose out on someone he really loved because he was not affectionate enough. These poor decisions made him paparazzi fodder and a source of much scandal and controversy. He developed a reputation as a heartless player who toyed with the hearts of women and has been misunderstood as willing to say anything to win a lady over even though he has never said anything he didn't mean at the time. Many of his bitter exes have sold false stories about him that have caused the royal family a lot of trouble and led to a tense relationship between Xavier and the rest of his family. His mother considered him foolish in his pursuits but this only spurred him on due to his dislike of his mother and strong desire to be nothing like her.

When he reached adulthood and his behaviour was getting more out of control due to his contempt for his mother and his position as a prince, his father pulled him aside for a conversation. Having always had a closer relationship with his father, Xavier had been more willing to listen to him unlike his mother whom he would frequently defy. The conversation made him reconsider his behavior and he had since been trying not to make grand proclamations of love or forever early on in the relationship and instead find other ways of showing that he cared for his partner so that he would not hurt her as much if he later realised she wasn't the one though with varying degrees of success. Not long after his 21st birthday, Xavier got into an accident that landed him in hospital where he encountered a nurse who he then pursued. Though they would later part ways as friends, his pursuit of her would change the way he went about his relationships, focusing on the little things over grand displays. She became his close confidante and frequently advised him after their mutual split when they realised they were wrong for each other. The advice however, could not prevent him from causing another major scandal shortly before the announcement of the Royal Roulette that made his relationship with his mother tense once again. Despite his reputation and many relationships, Xavier being the romantic he is has been saving himself for the right girl, the woman who becomes his wife and is still a virgin.

How does your character feel towards Royal Roulette?
Xavier is looking forward to the Royal Roulette and hopeful that he will find the one for him at the event but also secretly worried and nervous that the girl he chooses might not return his feelings or worse, choose one of his brothers over him. He badly wants to make a good impression on the young ladies and has been trying to keep himself in check to try and undo some of the damage to his reputation done by the numerous scandalous reports on him by paparazzi and tabloids over the years.

Why is your character doing this?
Love. That is the only reason why Xavier has agreed to this, why he would do anything his mother wishes of him. While he would prefer more freedom in choosing his future wife he doesn’t trust himself to chose well and is hoping that the Royal Roulette can help him find the right woman.

It might sound a bit extreme to be training her entire life, but, she's never found it unfair, instead enjoying it a bit. She has always still made time to explore Greece and the outdoors, as well as spend time near and in the ocean. And she Insists on being able to work on her pottery when stressed or if she merely just wants to.

biography - major events |
- at age 12, hazel's mother died of breast cancer and she escaped from the grief through music. it progressed into one her greatest talents and hobbies.
- her father fell further into his alcoholism, and did have anger management issues, though he loved his daughter, and distanced himself from her in order to not hurt hazel as much.
- hazel was told she had to go to college to succeed, but when it came to that stage, she lied to her father that she was going to study in a different country. in fact, she traveled using her barista skills to get a job and a small influx of money to travel to Maseille, France and then London, England. guilt mounted over the trip, but hazel enjoyed her life more than ever, making inspired music in new places.
- when she returned home after multiple years and managed to tell her father the truth, he demanded hazel had to find a way to pay every penny of the school fee she should've paid during that time to him, and he basically grounded her from traveling ever again, which was devastating. for the hell of it, she put in an application for the royal roulette, yet she never though she'd get in.

Hazel is nervous. She doesn't know what to do, how to act... she surprised they thought she was good enough to be picked. Though she does know this a once in a lifetime opportunity, so she plans to make the best of the situation.

Why is your character doing this?
She didn't plan on being actually accepted. But her true reason is to fix the wrong-doings she done in regards to her father. Plus, enlightenment of the life of a royal couldn't be that bad. The thought of finding love never crossed her mind when applying, and only dawned when she was accepted.
