Fantasy rose ⬩ quartz. [lore]

vellichor.

– pixie dust
According to Eamorian legend, the first king of Eamoire discovered a secret about rose quartz, claiming that it had a beneficial property that could heal the pain or disappointment from one's heart. He became obsessed about the theory of rose quartz, spending each and every minute of his life digging deeper into the idea. He died young, at the age of twenty-three (23), for no apparent reason.

Rose quartz has been banned from the kingdom of Eamoire, all because of that simple myth. Despite the ban, you still decide to breach the law, regarding it as foolish or unnecessary. Whether it be a charm or pendant or bracelet, it is definitely made of pure rose quartz, and you make sure to carry it around with you anywhere you go. After a few months of wearing that accessory however, strange events occur. A few more months pass, and it becomes quite clear that you are what's strange, not the events. Before you had worn that charm, you were an ordinary Eamorian, but now, things have changed. You have new powers, and it becomes apparent to you why exactly the first king of Eamoire had died.

tl;dr: Rose quartz was banned from the kingdom Eamoire because the first king who had experimented with rose quartz died shortly after, and it is believed that rose quartz is dangerous. A group of teens, however, choose not to follow the ban and illegally buy a charm of rose quartz. They each develop a new ability and must try to keep the power hidden from everybody. They discover that the rose quartz heals both the heart and the brain, but a little too well. As time passes, it seems as though their control of their powers decline, along with their sanity.

Currently ruled by the cherished and adored King Roman Valois and Queen Miriam Valois, the peaceful medieval kingdom of Eamoire thrives with color and beauty. The breathtaking palace is constructed of pure platinum and gold. The grand kingdom is famous for having more than eight hundred (800) rooms. Outside of the palace is a meadow with the queen's prized white and pink rose bushes, a famous tourist attraction spot. The back of the palace is covered in a wall of wisteria. Patches of daylily flowers and peonies and larkspur are scattered around the garden. Occasionally, it is said, the king and the queen take a stroll in the greenhouse.

Beyond the palace lies an ocean of a celeste blue hue. Unique shells are scattered upon the pale gold sand. Citizens are allowed to visit the beach except for on a few holidays, when the beach is closed from the public.

The citizens' houses are clustered near each other in one area. A trail of flowers leads to each residence. Because all the houses are generally close to one another, most families are on friendly and respectful terms. To separate the homes through rank, a trail of different-colored flowers leads to each residence. A peasant's home has a trail of white flowers, a middle classes' home has a trail of pink flowers, and an aristocrat's home has golden flowers. The structure of houses differ for each rank as well, being obviously worse for the lower class and being in pristine condition for the nobility. It is considered disgraceful to speak with somebody of lower rank, unless they are a servant or worker, and even then, conversation must be limited.
