Advice/Help Roleplaying Length/Quantity

Okay, I know a lot of people say it's the quality rather than the quantity. However, I know where my weak points are, mainly in description of scene and general actions displayed by a character. My question is this. What are some ways that I haven't tried that could help me get better?

Ways I've tried to get better:
Using a dictionary to find better descriptive words.
Looking at other people's writings, documenting what I like, and trying to adjust it to my own style
Taking a break and walking away to help me concentrate better

as much as I believe quality is better than quantity, I honestly feel like (on my part) that I have less of the quantity because my quality isn't all that great.

Practice. Really that’s about it.

Reading does help and trying to mimic the writing styles of your favorite authors.

Also post mirroring can be a short term solution. Look at your partners post. What do they mention? What do they have their character react to? Mirror that with your own.
