Name: Nakano Yumoto

Personality: He was a very joyful person, but the loss of his parents has put him in a near constant state of light despair. The hit opened his eyes to the world, and he was shocked by what he found. He's in the process of figuring himself out and trying to understand that he had been living a comfortable lie. To others, he may appear apathetic, overtly depressed, or a generally negative person. Whether he pulls himself out of his current state is questionable, seeing the situation he's found himself in. He isn't self-centered, and doesn't like people doting on him (or at least, what he considers "doting"), and will go out of his way to let people know when they've gotten on his nerves. He is scared of "replacing" his parents with other people, so tries avoiding being helped by people who would be considered good role models.
Backstory: Nakano was raised in a relatively sheltered home, resulting in his naive personality. He never knew his grandparents but absolutely loved his aunts and uncles, who cared just as much about him. Both of his parents passed away just as he entered high school, making the transition hard for him. He lost his mother to a car accident and his father to a thief in a grocery store. Both were very loving and caring, and it hit him pretty hard. He's very touchy on the subject, but isn't too keen on sharing that sentiment with other people, being his first real loss in his entire life. Nakano was in the process of being taken to his aunt as his new guardian, finding the strange packet laying on the front porch to his house just as he was about to leave.
Other: He loves playing the guitar and piano, and will play as often as he is allowed. He loves pastries and sweets, almost always finding himself near them whenever he has the chance. He likes solving riddles and puzzles, often willing to spend a day slowly working through a single one. He knows origami, and will often start moving his hands as if folding when he is stressed or nervous. He hates sweet foods that aren't composed of flour and sugar, and absolutely despises spicy foods. He likes listening to alternate rock and classical music, finding both to be relatively calming. Nakano is a bit of a coward, backing off quickly if a discussion escalates into an argument. Despite how he may outwardly act, he still loves stuffed animals and pointless conversations. He's a very forgiving person.
Flipside Name: Rin
Flipside Appearance Alterations: His irises become an azure blue, and his clothes constantly ripple in the static field that surrounds him. He never frowns as Rin. He has two small hazard symbols on the inside of each wrist.
Flipside Personality: Rin is just delighted to see you. Always. Rin feels no pain, having near complete control over his emotions. He chooses to live his life as happy and carefree as can be, though not nearly to the point of insanity. Rin prides himself with being calm and collected, usually acting fairly arrogant for his usual strategy. Rin enjoys being manipulative during a fight. He sees it as a necessity. He's a very optimistic person, always looking on the bright side of things despite the circumstances he finds himself in.
Power: He has two: Electrokinesis and duplication. He can split himself into as many duplicates as he pleases, though there is a small downside to it. He can't stay duplicated into more than two for long periods of time and feels the pain of his injuries multiplied by the number of duplicates at the time of impact. Duplicating above two is extremely taxing to his body. His electrokinesis ability is fairly mild. He can drain a small amount of energy from his opponents on contact and transform it into an electric shock. The power of the shock isn't nearly enough to incapacitate someone, and can be released from a distance as a distractingly painful static shock. He can use this ability to charge up his magnetic field to create a soft boundary around metal weapons, and can manipulate his own energy to a similar effect. The power of electric manipulation with him as the source of the energy is proportionally taxing to the amount of damage it would do to an opponent should the attack make contact.
