Rick Shades is tall and well toned. He stands at about six feet, three inches and has the body of a swimmer. Although not incredibly pale, Rick certainly has fair/light skin with only a few scars here and there. The only one of these scars that actually stands out is the one in the center of his chest. His hair is mostly purple, with the occasional red highlight scattered about. Just don't look too close at it, what you find might ruin your day. Generally a pretty nice guy, Rick is almost always smiling, his coal black eyes twinkling with friendliness.
Clothing:
Usually adorning a pair of shades on his face, Rick thinks he's the "definition of cool". He wears his usual wizarding robes along with a fine purple scarf. Underneath his usual robes, Rick wears casual dress clothes. Upon his fingers he wears several magical rings.
Bio:
Not much is know of this Wizards past. One day he just kind of showed up, claiming to be from the abyssal deeps of the sea. He seems a little insane but is a nice enough guy that most people won't bother him about his origins. But those who have asked have found it to be a dark and mysterious history. Originating from the once thriving city in the south known as Kaveer, Rick studied in the forbidden magics of the abyss. Although not illegal, it was highly unadvised. During his studies, Rick experienced the great calamity that brought his city to an end, but doesn't remember any of it. About a year later he remembers that he was being hunted down. Rick claims he moved to the ocean to get away from the hunters and the rest he doesn't talk about.
Personality:
Rick is a generally happy and friendly individual. Always doing his best to make more friends, he is always nice to others when he meets them for the first time. And although he is a little crazy because of what happened in his past, it's not immediately evident. He's also a firm believer in second chances.

A Wizard first and a street performer second.
Weapons:
Tome of the Abyss and Rings of Supplementation.
Powers:
Although much of his power is lost to him as he has only been able to recall his studies recently, Rick Shades has power over abyssal magics and eldritch energies. Being able to conjure balls of powerful dark magics, Rick can hurl these at his foes as a weapon. He can also cast some fairly basic wizarding illusions. For some reason Rick grows stronger when he makes a friend, though why this occurs is quite mysterious and frankly quite queer.
