  Rick is an extremely laid back person. He works hard to provide for himself mostly to himself. Rick proves to get attached to people quickly... even the ones who treat him not all that well. He gives second chances out like candy and it can get him into trouble. Although Rick can be laid back, he can also be bossy, specially in dire situations. Rick usually thinks his way is the best way, but he is not opposed to being told other ways. Rick is also always true to his word, never to break it unless he has to for a better good. Calm on the outside, Rick has a tendency to freak out. Yelling is his preference of getting things out, specially when people are being stupid or ridiculous. When he is caught by surprise, he could yell something obscene at the person. Call it a kind of kink, something that makes him unique.

  Rick doesn't remember much about his past, just that it was a bit hard. He was dropped off at an orphanage when he was younger by his parents, at least he thought so. The orphanage wasn't actually meant for kids to be adopted, but instead forced them into organized crime. With no where to go or anyone to take care of them, they were trained to do what ever the organization needed. Rick was trained to be an assassin, a hit man. It took him years of hard training, but eventually he passed all expectation and began to work. He worked until he was 18... escaping from the organization, wanting a life of his own. After he was able to get away, he moved as far as he could with no money or anywhere to go. Settling in a small town, he found a job as a chef. From there he started to work an honest life. It didn't last long, as some how he manage to find himself caught up into some shady thugs. It was then that he admitted to himself that he had a small yearning to continue his life as an assassin. So as a second job, Rick started his work again as Shade, but this time as his own personal employer.

  Rick loves hand to hand combat. He also loves a good fire arm. His main weapons however is a couple of short sword connected to his arms. The blades are sheathed on his arms and operated by a Pulley system that pulls them in and out of the sheaths. He often uses the sheaths as small shield when blocking incoming blows.
