All through the games do not take place in the arenas spaced throughout the world the people go to them to watch the holographic live action of what is happening in them. The matches take place in various locations that are set up for each match some take place in ruined cities others take place in the icy Tundra a few have even been in especially designed Labyrinths. You never know what the next match holds
