(Resolved) What are points, what are they for, and how do I get them??

I've seen 'points' listed under my name, and also other users. They vary in ammount, and I can't for the life of me figure what they're for, or how I get them, help?!

Points are just a number that shows off achievements that you've done on the site - such as spending your birthday on RpN & making 100 posts.
