Personality:
Ren is the adventurous type, moving from town to town and rarely staying in one place. It's his dream to one day explore everything this world and to tell others about his journey. He is also not afraid to leap into the unknown and discover what's there just to satisfy his curiosity. Ren isn't the type to start conversation but likes to talk when others begin to talk to him instead. His biggest fear is losing his ability to fly as a Tengu that can't fly is considered useless and are shunned. Ren is also a man of honour and would never break the law or tell a lie, even in the worst of times.
Bio:
Ren hatched deep within a forest and spent his first couple years in a safe haven along with his many other siblings with himself being the youngest. During that time the only people he saw were his own family and very rarely a travelling human or elf passing by, making him rather curious of what else could be out there. They were never approached due to the Tengu's well known habit to be extremely protective of their hatchlings, especially by strangers.
Once Ren reached the age of 12 he and his family left the nursery and began to travel the area around them. He and his siblings learnt many tips and tricks of adventuring and more about the world around them. Ren was excited every time they ran into a village or town, with him being interested in human culture. However one night while they were sleeping at an inn Ren was taken away by a group of thieves that happened to notice Ren's speed and agility whilst he was running around the village playing with his siblings.
When he woke up he was in a wagon surrounded by the thieves. It turned out they wanted Ren to join them in their quest to find the Stones of Power to use them for their own good. Of course, Ren refused and attempted to fight back, only resulting in him being beaten easily and laughed at. Ren decided there was no point in trying to escape for now and stayed with them, learning how to properly fight and sneak around.
By the time Ren had reached the age of 20 he had already stolen and pick pocketed from a multitude of people, regretting each time he does so. He made the decision that he would escape from the group of thieves now, which would be a simple task as they began to trust him over the years. It was as simple as saying that he wanted to go for a walk before flying off, never to return. Now Ren travels around the area, mainly looking for his family but to also do good for others in order to redeem himself, and hopefully not running into the group again.

Tengus are a species of bird people that usually stay in a group. This group is normally the whole family but it could be friends or otherwise. But sometimes you could find a single Tengu travelling of his own, but this is uncommon and they are usually criminals that are on the run. They usually begin their lives in a forest or mountain before they begin to travel around. Tengus are well known for being extremely protective of their family and especially their chicks, and will fight to the death to protect them. They are also much more faster and agile than most races, matching elves in terms of speed and agility.
Tengus are always covered in feathers and have beaks and claws. They are capable of flight and have much better eyesight than other races due to them having the properties of hawks and sometimes owls. If a Tengu loses its flight than it is no longer considered a true Tengu and is despised by others. They go by the name of Kleoc and are usually outlaws that are punished through losing flight.
