Personality: Remus can be a bit of a sarcastic little brat when he wants to be. None of the teachers would believe it, because he's a good, respectful student, but around his friends is another story. It might have taken him a while to open up to people, and really accept that his friends still actually liked him despite his lycanthropy, he was always snarky and clever, if a bit less vocal about it during his first two years.
While he tends to put up a protest to some of Sirius and Jame's more harebrained ideas, he's always there because "someone has to make sure those idiots don't hurt themselves" But in reality he gets just as much of a rush out of a good prank that they do. While Remus is a generally honest person, and an absolutely awful liar "What? There's a werewolf around here? ha... ha, weird. I bet he's super scary... and totally not me..." when a professor correctly asserts that James and Sirius were the ones behind some mayhem or other, Remus doesn't exactly volunteer to serve detention with them, and is not above using his "good student" status to slide under the radar.
He gets really cranky if he goes long without food, and is completely and utterly impossible to live with if he misses a meal. Remus has a kind heart, and would never hurt a fly, the guy even felt bad not standing up against his friends for Snape, of all people.
For all of Remus's life, werewolves have been treated as second class citizens, if that, and, to a lesser extent, so was anyone less than pureblood. He's always been bitter about it, rather than cowed, and desperately hopes that someday he can be in a position to help change the way the wizarding world see's people like him. despite this mentality, he can't help, especially on bad days, thinking that he shouldn't exist. That maybe he's wrong about werewolves, and he really is some monstrous freak of nature. Then he just gets mad at himself for thinking that, because he would certainly never want others thinking about him that way. This way of thinking tends to spiral and leave him in a bit of a snit.
Likes: Sweaters. Especially of the thick, soft and oversized variety. Chocolate, more than is probably healthy for anyone to consume.
Dislikes: Bullies, bigots.
Other: Curses like a sailor. Like, if you get him going he can just string sentence after sentence of almost nothing but curse words. It's actually pretty impressive, and always leaves someone gaping at him, which he finds hysterical.
