More related to the program, you will be paired up using a random generator for the first four weeks. Some participants may also be tricked regarding the pairs. MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Redamancy is a word derived from the Latin phrase "I requite love". The word itself means "a love returned in full", and the program strives to live up to its name, helping young people to find the people they will be with for the rest of their lives.

The program uses a variety of means to designate your likely soulmate, from your personality, to your family history, to your hobbies and interests. Besides these rules, you may do wherever you like and there are no restrictions.

THE VILLA COLOMBERA

The Villa Colombera, a privately owned villa by the beachside of Laguna Beach, is where you will be staying while participating in the program. The Italian-born Colombera family built the villa in 1962 and after the death of Lorenzo Colombera in 1978, the family graciously allowed Rutherford to use it for the program. LOCATIONS + NOTES

The town has a few popular spots where people go to just hang out. The adults usually hang out at the local sports bar/lounge or nightclub. Some more family-friendly hangout spots include the theater, the arcade, and - most popular - the beach.

Your roommate will get an exact copy of the same key and if you decide not to go to your bedroom, Ms. Chandler will read a list of the participants and announce your partner for the week.

As previously mentioned, your partner may or may not be your soulmate although pairs will be made with a random generator. You will have a full week to bond and while it is preferable that two partners go out into the town, they may stay at the villa. However, if you and your partner are not bonding or socializing with one another, you will be forced to do so, as it is part of the program itself. While you do have bonding time with your partner, you may socialize with other participants, though you may not take another person as your partner. During these first weeks, you are limited to traveling distances up to 30 minutes away from the villa.

At the end of each week, you will take a questionnaire about your partner. Ms. Chandler will return to pick participants who answer that they truly enjoyed their partner and will announce if they are soulmates or not. If they are, the soulmates will be moved to a private sector of the villa to do whatever they would like. If the soulmates would like to, they can even return to the main sector of the villa and aid others in finding their soulmates. If the two participants are not soulmates, then the random generating will continue, though it will be made sure that the two people will not be paired up a second time.[/div][/div][/div][/div] [div class=content][div class="tabsContent tabsContentlocations1" style="display:none"] [div class=titleblock style="margin-top:-250px;margin-left:-5px"]during weeks four to eight[/div] [div class=infocontainer style="margin-top:0px;margin-left:-5px"][div class=overflow style="width:100%"]During these weeks, you will not be paired up with a random generator. You do not need to be out all day, but just enough time to properly socialize.

There will also be trips and group activities as well. You will vote for where you will want to go each week in a poll. These polls will include attractions that are farther than an hour away from the villa. The trips will usually last a week, sometimes less, and you will be under the supervision of several escorts. DURING WEEKS ONE TO FOUR

Once you arrive at the villa, you will be given keys to your rooms. Each key is made specifically for each room and the rooms are listed by number as they would be in a hotel. Your roommate will get an exact copy of the same key and if you decide not to go to your bedroom, Ms. Chandler will read a list of the participants and announce your partner for the week.

If the two participants are not soulmates, then the random generating will continue, though it will be made sure that the two people will not be paired up a second time.

DURING WEEKS FOUR TO EIGHT

During these weeks, you will not be paired up with a random generator. Instead, you will be paired up with someone who has similar traits as you. You will also be paired up according to hobbies, likes and dislikes, history, and love life. These are the weeks when you are most likely to find your soulmate. However, you are still encouraged to have fun and you will not be under constant supervision.

THE QUESTIONNAIRE

The Questionnaire is a very important part of the program. It essentially determines compatibility outside of what is written in the forms. You will take this research survey in a small, private booth that resembles a voting booth. It is not as easy for some as it is for others. However, the questions are not intended to be difficult and you are strongly advised to answer as honestly as possible. Your answers may be as short or as long as you'd like. In case you are wondering, no one except for the head of the program will see your answers. If you want to write about a person you did not enjoy spending time with, feel free to do so.
