What would happened if the Angels returned? Would life really be perfect? In Paradise Lost, you find out that the answer is a complicated one. While on the whole the quality of life has improved, the concept of freedom and privacy has all been curtailed; Sex, foul language, even physical contact is outlawed under Doctrine.
There are those few that continue the fight against the tyranny of the Host and the lapdog Paladins. Those few continue exist deep in the bowels of the ruins of Los Angeles, hidden from those inhabit the world above. Every day life is a struggle, basic necessities such as food, water, shelter and medical care are hard to find. But the one thing they do have, is the freedom to live their life the way they choose.
But with the Host and the Paladins cracking down on them, the resistance is losing the struggle. Humans and their Supernatural allies must work together and put their past mistrust aside if they ever are to liberate Paradise.
