this is going on 1st ed text but....


according to the books Lytek prunes the memories of celestial exalted before they are reborn so that they don't have a head that is to full or something (i never understood why)


but the Abysalls don't go through heaven. i don't recall ever reading anything about the shard getting its memories pruned


so if they don't then what happens when you get a used shard?
