Background:​

As a boy, Alaric grew a certain fascination with the powers of magic spoke of in campfire stories, even though he had no magical abilities himself. Whilst most others would use books and scrolls for kindling, Alaric would instead choose to read them first, especially those written works salvaged from the long abandoned ruins of magical academies and universities of once thriving cities. Alaric's studies made him smarter than the average survivor, affording him knowledge and intelligence that he could share with others, in exchange whatever essentials they had to spare. At first, others were dubious of Alaric, but as he demonstrated his knowledge and thus his usefulness, people soon began to trust him and even seek him out, asking for assistance and advice with regard to many different issues. Alaric soon earned himself a relatively comfortable and influential position as people looked to him to direct their efforts for survival. But as the years passed, and the world fell into an ever more dire state, Alaric would discover problems that he had no idea how to handle, and he did not know what to tell people when they clambered for answers from him.

And while Alaric desperately scoured every book and scrap of notes for anything that could help, he would turn his eyes to the heavens and see in complete horror in asteroid that came, the boom of it's landing beyond anything he could ever describe in it's sheer terror.

Ravana has light brown hair and light brown eyes. Her skin is olive and she is 5’8”. Ravana is fit and toned, but not overly muscular. She has pale scars on her legs, arms, and hands.

Abilities
Hemokinesis – blood manipulation. Ravana is able to control blood from others in close proximity and only one at a time. She can use her own blood to create weapons and is able to harden her own blood to protect herself from physical attacks.

Short Biography
Ravana was raised by her father. The two were never close despite how similar they were. Both clashed constantly as they bickered over old things, new things, and nothing. Yet, the only time they got along was when they were slamming their fists or feet against punching bags. After the death of her mother and siblings (during childbirth) they were labeled scrappers and survivors.

Despite their odd bonding ways, Ravana didn’t forget the necessity of her studies. Though she was not the most studious, she enjoyed learning and had a knack for hands-on activities. However, as society began its inevitable descent into chaos, she figured that her hands were far more necessary than knowledge held in books. People often sought out her father for his strong sense of justice and his skill in hand-to-hand combat, which he passed onto his daughter but her aggression and sharp tongue warded many away.

As time went on, her father changed from a fighter to a man who cried the “the end is near.” His reputation for supporting justice was tarnished and people came up with a new label that cast him as insane. She and her father became pariahs in a town that once loved them. When the time came and the sky lit up, her father was ready. He held onto a photo of her mother and didn’t seek out his daughter during their last moments.
