Bio: Raine is the twin sister of Ray Carter, younger by only a few minutes. Despite not being the heir, she received many of the same lessons that Ray did throughout his life, mostly due to being second in line and the civil war meaning that Ray surviving to take the throne wasn't really assured. She took far more interest in these lessons than Ray himself did, easily taking to leadership and the responsibilities that came with it. As a result, when their mother died and their father disappeared into himself, Raine almost immediately became the actual head of the country, making all the important decisions while allowing Ray to take the credit so he could catch up on things he hadn't bothered to pay attention to before, although she allowed him a say in how the country was to be run; She didn't want to ruin their relationship if she became queen of another territory or country, after all.

However, she is fully aware that these pawns have feelings, and rather than use brute force to get her way, she's just about mastered the art of manipulation. That being said, if pulling at the strings won't get her way, she certainly isn't above blackmail or straight up threatening someone. Far more interested in herself than anyone else, although fairly good at faking it, and with emotions far more muted than she'd allow you to believe, she'd pretty much be a sociopath if not for the fact that she loves her family and her home above all. A shameless flirt, and with a tendency to act fairly nice, she does her best to keep herself on the good side of everyone who she perceives as important; after all, no one's going to grant a favor to an enemy. She's chopped her wavy black hair into an asymmetrical bob which gets a bit longer toward the front, although no longer than her chin, and her bangs are cut off so there's no risk of them ever falling into coffee colored eyes that she lines with kohl. With the same caramel skin as her twin brother, but a generally neater appearance, she sports far less piercings than him, sticking to a few gold rings in her left ear and one in her right eyebrow.
