Dwarves

Elves

Halflings

Humans

Orcs

Dwarves take shelter in the Soft-Spoken Forest, named for its whispers from the trees and animals that live there. Rumor has been spread that if you wait silently long enough, you begin to hear actual sentences pertaining to your destiny. The Soft-Spoken Forest is overrun with trees, covering the stone houses that were once homes to the Humans there before they made their ways to the capital: Vrark. It was once dark, only illuminated by the stars and few rays from the sun through the dense canopy. That is until the Dwarves were pushed from their underground caves, and forced to live in the forest for their safety. The stone houses are still there, but litter the ground, whereas the Dwarves actually live in the tall trees. They renamed their home Xítohoi after the Magic Hunts.

The isolated Elves live in their temples, far away from the Human and Orc capital. They're a tribal group, everything they have made and done is dedicated to their Gods. They prefer not to make any contact with any other races, that's why they live such distant lives. The Elves of Fio Gabro are picky of who they let in, not even merchants or travelers get to wander inside their safe home. The Elves have lived in Fio Gabro since way before the Magic Hunts, stalking others who mistakenly came upon their home. For such a well hidden place, this mistake happened a lot. Because of the low-level magic it takes to hide Fio Gabro, even the most volatile mage could happen upon it.

Despite being hated by both Humans and Elves alike, Halflings are still able to live in Vrark and the temples of Fio Gabro. However, their lives aren't made easy at all. Poor and forgotten, they take shelter in Vrark's slums, while the most fortunate ones are slaves to the nobles. The slums surround the merchant and noble districts, and the guards hardly ever make rounds in the disease-ridden areas. This makes them the most vulnerable to the illegal trades such as smuggling, murder, and crime organizations.

Most Humans live in the capital of Vrark while the others either live in the slums or the forests surrounding the city. Some Humans consider themselves the "superior race," and because of their xenophobic behavior, they have made the other races enraged. That hasn't necessarily stopped trading and other business, however.

Not much is known about the Orcs, only little about where they live. The snowy mountains of Ghurkrabord are hard to navigate, and even harder to live in for the other races. But for the Orcs, it's just fine. They prefer the cold more than anything else, but some have been known to wander away from home. These few Orcs are shamed and never allowed to come back, of course.
