Description/personality:
Emery is the definition of timid at a glance, but once accquainted with someone she can be wild, sarcastic and witty. She is deft with her hands when it comes to natural medicines; in her free time she tends to injured animals she's found on pack territory. She has a small, cozy cottage outside of the pack house with pens to keep the animals until they've healed and a garden to grow her herbs. She has a room in the pack house as well, but she rarely uses it when she's not needed there. She is very connected with nature and is outside as much as she can be. She is almost always barefoot and she's known to be seen with smudges of dirt on her face and hands and her hair in a messy ponytail. She spends much time in her wolf form scenting for herbs that don't grow in her garden and for animals who might need her help and can be healed. Although she may seem rather antisocial, she is known among the pack for her kindness and hospitality. She is, in short, a very gentle and free soul, but she is not one to be messed with, either. She can hold her own in a fight.
Brief History:
Emery was an only child born to Rinah and Nathaniel Ioquis. She had a good childhood with plenty of love, but the pack was already beginning to dwindle in numbers even in her youth. Her father was determined to raise her to be a strong woman, able to defend herself and hold her own in life. Her mother passed of an unknown cause when she was only 10 years old. Her father passed a few years later in his grief, but he never once neglected her in his time of sorrow. He continued to teach her to be strong, and to balance her head and heart. Emery was heartbroken at her parents' deaths, but she used what her father taught her and carried on with her head held high. She was born and raised in the last Pack. She was promoted to a healer position at age 16, due to her well-known skills when it came to wounded wildlife.
