When someone says "pair" in an interest check (ex. "I'm interested in doing a person x demon pair), does that mean they want to do a romantic roleplay with those as the two characters, or a platonic roleplay with those as the two characters? Or both?

Sorry, this is just confusing me.

Depends on the context, it can mean multiple things

-some sort of relationship between 2 characters
-romantic experience between 2 characters
-2 characters being played by the same person
