The history of Serinia dates back several centuries prior to the establishment of the Principality itself. Little is known about the history of the land, as records of the bygone age were either lost or destroyed. The land was plagued by constant wars and agricultural hardship. But as time goes on, the people of Serinia had cast aside their differences for a short while and contributed to the now competent Principality - although many would disagree. Ultimately, the birth of this new nation marked the beginning of a new era for the people of Serinia. Should they accept and adopt the new ways, or retain their cultural traditions? That is where your story begins.

(OOC) Just some lore. This is a nation building roleplay as posted within the genre. It will be based off during the 13th century, high middle ages era, with technology being based off it. It is a fictional nation in it's own right with a fictional continent and map (to be provided once the character sheets are up). The slight difference is instead of building your own empire/kingdom you will be creating your own Duchy under the Principality within a region.
