Name: Kobe Wade

Personality: Kobe's kind of a douche. He's cocky, and just a bit conceded. He has a habit of not thinking about the things he says, and acting with even less thought. Despite these things, he's loyal to a fault. His friends are the most important and valuable resource he has. What comes across as even more shocking, however, is the fact that he doesn't mean to be all of these things as his friends quickly learn. He's an asshole, but he's a good guy. He'll do anything for the people he cares about, he's just not very good at expressing himself. Instead he makes jokes, throws trashtalk, and occasionally has a long drawn out monologue about his true feelings that explains who he really is.

Under the surface of his happy, excitable, loud, and rude attitude is even more psychology, however. Kobe has struggled with melancholic depression his entire life. He has never shared this with anyone, which some may argue has made it worse.
Appearance: Kobe is an attractive guy. One can't very well be conceded if they aren't. His features are chiseled, and his eyes a deep gray blue. Atop his head is a mass of brown hair that shifts on a spectrum from beautiful curly main to unmanageable tangled jew-fro that can eat a comb alive. His body is athletic and toned from his years of training in Muay Tai and Brazilian Jiu Jitzu.

Bio: Kobe's mother wasn't very good at choosing men from the beginning. His father is a good man whom he loves, but simply wasn't right for his mom. This resulted in Kobe being raised by a single mom in low income conditions. This isn't that bad, everyone knows what it's like for a single mom. However to make matters worse she remarried to an abusive son of a bitch. This lasted through elementary school, which meant by the time he reached highschool he had some deep seated psychological issues. Thankfully she divorced that man, and remarried to a kind hearted ex marine who showed Kobe nothing but love and compassion. The first man he could trust in his life. He began to train at his local kickboxing gym and this arguably saved his life. When someone sees improvement physically and in combat it can cause them to see hope in other aspects of their life.

Kobe made friends for the first time in highschool, and discovered the woman he loved. Her name was Mary Jane, and not the Spider-Man villain, the plant. It changed his worldview. He realized what was important, the value of human life. Not only did he become more peaceful and caring towards people, but he now longed to be a part of something bigger. To give back. What he was going to do, however, was a mystery left to be discovered.
(I'd like to leave a spot open for a best friend if anyone wants it. Just to be a cool dynamic already before starting the rp. I plan on having Kobe react as any teenager would to becoming a super hero and they could be super psyched together XD)

(I'd like to make a suggestion. I've always liked the series like SPD and dino thunder where each ranger has a unique power. if we could do that, maybe have cosmic themed powers because of the zeo crystals, that'd be cool.)

Personality: To put it simply, Angel does not take life lying down. If he wants something, he goes for it. Often this makes him come across as reckless, arrogant, or calloused, and while at times he can be each of these things, his intentions tend to be met with at least a half-hearted effort to do the right thing (which usually causes him to do what good people cannot for the betterment of the situation).

For Angel, the goal comes first. This mentality leaves him with little sympathy for people's feelings and zero remorse for breaking the law. Sometimes the law, after all, is something that must be sacrificed for the greater good. When it comes time to get the job done, Angel is more than confident in his ability to do so. He believes himself to be superior in many ways to many people.

Angel does not really see the world in shades of gray like most others, but there is right, and there is wrong, though which is which can often be hard to see. He does not hold back from killing if it is just. He always tries to respond with equal force, but he does not forbid himself from killing the way some of his allies do.

With that understanding, he does hold himself to the laws of whatever nation he is currently in, and he tries to abide by their ways and respect their culture unless it flies in the face of his own.

He is a realist in that he does not try to be overly optimistic or overly pessimistic, but he deals with the facts as he sees them and weighs the probabilities. He is always hopeful that things will go well, but he always tries to be prepared regardless of the outcome. He is not afraid to argue with his friends. He realizes that it is inevitability, and that he will come to disagree with his friends and allies if their interests are against the interests that he has sworn to protect.

His interactions with his friends are often warm, and supportive. He tries to be a shoulder to lean on, and a listening ear. He will correct if needed, but he will try to do so kindly. Amongst the public eye he is far more rigid, a man of nobility and protocol, often silent and thoughtful. He does not often smile when removed from the company of his friends or companions.

His sense of humor can be hard to find sometimes, but he has been known to appreciate dry wit, and the occasional pun.

Appearance: Angel

Bio: Angel Cain was born on May 3rd, 1999 to Hezekiah Cain and Sarah Banks; elite socialites of New York. Hezekiah was the founder and C.E.O. of Cain Industries, the company responsible for constructing the University Heights Bridge as well as numerous other iconic structures within the city. The company was also involved in producing composite materials for experimental aircraft, and Angel himself owned even more of his and his family's home city through the ownership of its fine arts museum. Needless to say, Angel Cain was born into a wealthy family.

When Angel grew older, his father decided it was time for his son to pass the "test of masculinity" by learning how to shoot. As a result, he gifted Angel with a BB rifle on a winter morning, which the young boy wasted no time in using. Running out into the snow with his gun, pretending to be in the military, Angel launched his first shot and accidentally killed a squirrel. The incident plagued a young Angel with guilt, leading him to vow never to use a gun again.

Afterward Angel had always been encouraged in anything he enjoyed, and at first, this mostly consisted of the usual sort of things for a boy his age - action movies, swords, martial arts. As he got older though, more competitive things began creeping in. Baseball, skateboarding, even trying to join the school's football team.

His life went downhill went his mother died. At the young age of eight, Angel and his parents were attending a viewing of Blade at one of the East 86th movie theater. The movie had been a favorite of his father's and Angel was anxious to see one of his father's favorite films for himself. It was a perfect night of popcorn, soda, good cinema, and the perfect opportunity to stay up past his bedtime without having to sneak. But when the movie was over, the Banks family was in a car accident that left his mother dead and him in the hospital. The were crushed by a gang fleeing a crime scene from a bank robbery. The driver was swerving, and he crossed the threshold smashing them into a building. The criminals got away, never to be found.

For a year Angel would remain in the hospital, regaining his health, strength and mental aptitude. Which was where his special abilities came into play. He'd began watching various Bruce Lee movies, by this time movies that involved free-running were starting to come on TV. Once he got out, he began to practice the movies he'd been watching over the past year. At first, this was to just wander the streets, but after seeing something called 'Parkour' on the television, he began giving this a try for himself, and he soon began going just about anywhere he felt like. A near miss with a few security guards had left him covering his face and wearing gloves, usually in the stereotypical stealth outfits, thanks to way too many movies.

After he had seen he was capable of having a preternatural skill for picking up the things he saw, heard, or experienced. He quickly began trying to mimic the martial arts moves Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Muhammad Ali, and even Michael Jai White did in movies. He succeeded. All of this helped him re-excel in school despite him missing months of school. Soon after he had realized that he had special abilities, but long after he began embarking upon vigilantism to make sure that what happened to his mother happening again, he ended up getting shot in the abdomen twice. At the age of 14, he'd been in critical condition two times in his life. What made it all worse was he was told that he had a brother he didn't know of. He was older by 5 years, and was from a previous relationship where the mother didn't want anything to do with his father. Josiah James Banks, age 24 with a 4 year old daughter named Victoria.

Shortly after exiting the hospital, Angel planned on continuing his crusade on crime. Especially after, he took some time off of school to go to a football game at a local high school. While heading to the game he heard a scream and ran towards an ally where a group of 5 thugs were attempting to rob and rape a young girl. Almost on instinct Angel threw his hood up and ran down the alley. Several minutes later the five men were laid out on the ground, tied up with the laces of the shoes they'd been wearing.

He's spent the past three years of his life though, living. His brother, niece and he moved to Angel Grove where he decided to be normal for his own sake, and the fact he didn't know anyone there.
