Does anyone know which threads polls can be deleted from? This is from something not inside a HosProj. I see from IC Threads, but not OOC threads. Anyone know about other tabs like Lore and the Overview?


Also, how do you remove a poll you created in thread where it's no longer relevant?

As far as I know, you can edit the thread with the Thread Tools and remove the poll from there.

Yeah. I have that option pop up when when deleting a new poll, but once people have voted, it becomes a no-go. I can only edit afterwards. I thought it was cause maybe the option is blacked out in certain tabs, but now you got me thinking it's probably unremovable once people vote.

For me, the actual poll has an edit bottom in the top right corner of the box.


From there, the page gave me the option to delete the entire poll... but at the same time, this was just a quick test of mine, and no one was about to vote on that poll haha.


Want to vote on this real quick to see if that changes anything?

I thought it might be different though if I was working on something outside of my forum (AoT is definitely my forum lmao).


For reference, I also looked to see if I could mess with someone's poll in the discussion area and I couldn't do anything, but that might just be a matter of discussion versus role play instead of section versus section.


Maybe you might need someone else's help on this.

You should be able to edit and remove a poll yourself.

It's not just a mod thing. This is from a Settings/ Location tab. Use the edit link in upper right hand corner of the box.

Yeah. I see that option when I am making a poll, or when no one has voted on it. But once someone votes, the option is removed and I can only edit. We can test it out if you'd like?

Hmm, you're right, once votes are made, the poll can no longer be deleted. @The Administration, could permission changes for polls be discussed? Would it be possible to enable the delete function for poll creators even if votes have already been placed? Reporting is easy as 1, 2, 3, but DIY is even easier.
