Chapter One - Beginnings


You awaken to find yourself in a cave. It's floor is void of water, and only a little sunlight filters in from a small hole above you. The air is humid and despite the closeness to the surface, rather stale. The air outside, you figure, isn't moving much. Turning around, you can see one direction is closed off with a rock slide. Did you fall into this cave? Would that explain the throbbing radiating from the back of your head? Regardless, it seems that rock pile isn't big enough to give you an exit from the cave via where you apparently fell in. Looks like you're stuck down here.


Only... where is here? While we're at it, who are you?
