Personality: Bolt is known for his commanding presence and stiff attitude. No one commands respect the way he does. Wherever he or his team go they are often follwed by whispering gasps of awe and constant stares of adulation. He is a natural leader and despite his steely glare and gruff demeanor, still manages to make pokemon feel safe in his presence with just quick smirk and a wink.

History: Bolt leads the most successful rescue exploration team in the world, Roaring Rescue. They specialize in speed and efficiency, accomplishing the mission and getting out before the situation has time to get worse. His teams success has brought them only more work as more and more pokemon seek them out for their help. He has a reputation as one of the fastest Pokemon alive.

Items: Bolt wears his team's signature gold bandana around his neck, attached to it is the badge signifying his Team’s status as Diamond rank.

Nickname: Shade

Personality: Elegance and grace are the kinds of words often used by others to describe her. She is regarded as one of the kindest pokemon out there. She is a master of stealth and silence, used often to rescue hostage/captured pokemon from under the captors nose. She is the most reserved member of the team, often only speaking to her teammates or those shoes rescuing.

History: Her innate ability to predict where disaster will strike has been a key part of her teams success. Though known mainly for her stealth and precognition, Shade is also extremely versatile in close combat. Where her allies excel in powerful ranged attacks, she prefers to get up close and personal.

Items: Shade keeps her gold bandana tied in a tight knot around her left front leg.

Nickname: Pele
Species: Pyroar
Gender: Female
Team: Roaring Rescue

Personality: The heart and soul of her team, her warm and fuzzy open personality is the fun loving glue that put the team together. Also known as the teams powerhouse, Pele has been known to take on more than her fair share of Enemies and dominate with a smile. Even in battle she maintains her upbeat happy demeanor, something that often spooks the enemy.

History: Banished by her pride for her rambunctiousness at a young age, Pele set off to find a new home. Rumors have it she travelled across three continents before finally collapsing from exhaustion. When Bolt found her lying passed out with a shriveled stomach, he decided he could not let the young Litleo just starve. Taking the homeless Pokemon in, the two quickly formed a sibling like relationship, and have been best friends ever since. It was only a little while later they saved Shade from a rampaging Steelix, setting the stage for what would become Roaring Rescue.

Personality:
(Pokemon Nature: Rash.) Jolty is known for her sharp intelligence and hardworking attitude, along with a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, this is heavily counterbalanced by her ferocious temper, infamous rudeness, impulsive nature and even a few... bad habits. More specifically, her tendency to be "free" with people's belongings. Items from other explorer's bags tend to "mysteriously" go missing whenever she's around, and no one who's known her for longer than a week isn't aware of this. When confronted with her misdeeds, Jolty just laughs, admitting nothing (though the other Pokemon will find their stolen items tucked safely away in their bags once more, given a day). Jolty really does have a good heart- she just has a hard time with suppressing her impulses in day to day life. Despite her shortcomings, Jolty is fiercely loyal and will do anything for a friend.

History:
Jolty didn't start out with dreams of exploring. She lived in a massive plains a little ways from town with her mother and two sisters. As a kit, she caused all sorts of trouble. She shocked other Pokemon with the static from her fur, stole everything from berries to Poke from right under their noses, then ran away cackling. Since her mother always returned the stolen items to their owners and fiercely apologized on her behalf, she never went to prison. Officially, at least. Despite regular scolding, Jolty never seemed to get the message-- not until an unnamed explorer took an interest in her speed and craftiness. She was taught that her talents could be used to help Pokemon, not harm them. Somehow, it worked. She listened. Instead of antagonizing the Pokemon around her, she poured all of her focus into training. Sure, she still swiped a trinket here or there, but on the whole her whole lifestyle improved.

The moment she was allowed to leave her mother's side, Jolty went into town and signed up at the local guild. And she's never looked back.

Item(s):
As one might guess, Jolty has a large problem with hoarding. She's loath to throw things away, so her bedroom area and storage are crammed full. Don't touch her stuff unless you ask. Seriously.
Jolty also has a little star pendant she wears on her right chest, twinkling within her needle-like fur.

Personality: A kind and enigmatic pokemon. Hex is known to be sinister and aloof even though that's not true. Those who actually take the time to get to know her will find that she is just a big mischievous and a loner. Hex seems to disappear constantly, but always seems to be there when she is needed. Hex is very knowledgeable and she has tons of information about almost everything.
History: Hex was always an outsider. Preferring to aquire knowledge and the extent of her own abilities instead of talk to other pokemon. That was until she met Flurry the Alolan Vulpix and Crescent the Absol, fellow outsiders of the townThey became best friends and due to how adventurous and curious they all were they decided to join the guild. They continued to keep to themselves and became and amazing team. Eventually the group split, Flurry and Crescent leaving the continent to have their own adventures while Hex became the Guild hand.
Items: A necklace with a purple ghost charm, a pale blue snowflake charm and a black crescent moon charm.

Personality: Berry isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. He gets distracted easily and has a really bad memory too. Berry is always counting on his teammates to remind him of the things he's supposed to do. Lucky for him his lack of intelligence is usually overlooked by his kindness and overall likability. He also likes to do his best to keep a happy and upbeat attitude whenever it is appropriate. Despite his happy-go-lucky demeanor, Berry isn't afraid to fight.

History: Helping people has always been a thing Berry has been fond of. He would spend most of his day helping people in his village with all sorts of jobs. He's mostly done cleaning and delivery jobs. His love for helping people got him to start training to be a Rescuer. With the help of a retired rescuer in his village, Berry learned how to use his speed and agility to his advantage in battle. After his training master deemed him ready, Berry joined the same guild his master was once a part of.

Personality: Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Eevee is an enthusiastic young Pokémon with big dreams of being a Rescue Explorer. She's a big fan of other teams, especially Team Roaring Rescue who she virtually idolises. Though she's extremely eager to help in any way she can, she is rather naive and has a rose-tinted view of what it means to be part of a Rescue Exploration Team - fun adventures and saving the day like a hero - while the nitty-gritty details fly way over her head. Being inexperienced and a little over-excitable, she tends to be clumsy, but she always tries her best at everything she does!

History: Born on the outskirts of Treasure Town, Eevee always heard the stories about the legendary Team Roaring Rescue, along with the other valiant efforts of the Treasure Rescue Guild. The stories inspired her to want to become a Rescue Explorer too, and she often played with her siblings, pretending to be one. She swears she even once witnessed a daring rescue from Team Roaring Rescue and that Bolt had winked at her before dashing away, but nobody believes that's anything but a tall-tale.

I'm not sure who my favourite Gym Leader is... maybe Flannery?

Guild Rank: Bronze

Personality: Zawinul is a rather…odd Pokemon. He has an outgoing and eccentric personality making him rather prominent in his community. He has a certain nose for news and gossip that he comes across in his explorations and he’s prone to passing them around town as rumors. He has great memory, making him a good candidate for navigation and detective work.

While he's not a slouch in battle, Zawinul prefers to avoid fighting if necessary and would rather try to talk things out rather than resorting to a fight.

History: Prior to being an explorer, Zawinul has held a lot of odd jobs in the past, usually changing disciplines after one or two years. Shop assistant, berry sorter, berry picker, dojo referee…if it’s done under an establishment with decent rewards, he’s probably tried it. This has broadened his mind and skillset for prospective job hunting but in the end, he decided to be an explorer as the years of working under someone else has left a bad taste in his mouth and made him realize he’s not fit to work under a “boss”.

Items: A small bag for carrying food items, a small handkerchief and his coin purse.

Caesar appears just as any other Infernape Some of his more notable features is that he has various scars along his arms and torso. He is also missing a section of his right ear; most likely caused during his previous explorations in his youth.

Personality:
Caesar is highly energetic and loves a good challenge. He is a passionate fighter who puts everything he has on the line to keep his team safe. He can be a bit of a hot head and can go head first into danger, however, he has the resolve and dedication to see a problem through to the end. He can be very kind hearted and almost fatherly in his teachings. He sees an opportunity to put a smile on someone's face and takes it.

History:
As a young man, Caesar had dreamed of being an explorer. However, he didn't exactly have the same knack for adventuring as the others. He was considered more along the lines of an underdog than anything. When he had been offered a position on Team Horizon along with a mighty Gabite and caring Togetic, he couldn't pass up the chance. He had learned everything about rescuing from them and rose in the ranks soon becoming a Platinum Rank team. They were inseparable. For years, they three took on any and all jobs to be the beacons of light the world needed. Unfortunately, their friendships did not last long. On a dangerous rescue, the team had found themselves cornered by gangs of pokemon who didn't exactly agree with the guilds methods. Caesar was able to get the rescued pokemon home safely, however, his team mates were nowhere to be found. He himself had acquired a number of injuries upon escape. He blamed himself for not being strong enough to protect his friends and vowed to never show weakness again. He was going to save everyone. As the new age of explorers began to shine, Caesar was offered the position to lead them as the Guild Master. He promised to teach them all he knew and would ensure to keep the sunny spirit of his team alive.

Nickname: Oishii (Means "delicious" in Japanese, but I'm fine with changing it if a Japanese name is a bit weird)
Species: Heracross
Gender: Male (The horn looks different between the two genders)
Appearance:
Team: New Recruit- Not yet named
Guild Rank: Normal
Personality: Oishii loves two things: fighting and eating. The bigger the foe, the more Oishii will want to test his might against them. He also doesn't know the meaning of "give up", so if someone tries to stop him, he'll rarely listen. Win or lose, the thrill of the fight is enough to keep him happy. In regards to food, Oishii isn't picky at all. Whatever he eats usually is used as fuel for his constant training, anyways.
He's always there for a friend in need, and won't think twice about shielding anyone from danger should there be a need for it.
History: Oishii used to roam about Treasure Town, trying to find strong-looking pokemon to spar with. More often than not he'd lose, but he never lost his motivation for getting stronger. He wanted to help protect others, and thought his strength could help if he trained himself.
One day he was told by a sparring partner that he should join the guild, and he considered it for days. Finally, he decided to join and seek to improve himself, but he can't deny that he was also swayed by rumors of the guild's amazing food.

I always liked Cheren from Black2/White2 just because I didn't expect him to be a gym leader and I recognized him from the previous game. Plus he was already my fave character from the first one.

Personality:
Tesla is a sunny and cheerful pokemon most of the time, but is prone to having moments of grief ,worry and very dangerous if angered. If he is around any baby pokemon, he has a tendency to be parental despite being a baby pokemon himself, though this only applies if they actually act like little kids. He is a complete novice at treasure hunting but does have a sense of adventure when exploring, this could lead to him wandering off somewhere on occasion. doesn’t have too much experience in battle thanks to not wanting to fight unless necessary. Very willing to help if able to, and able to talk to most new mons quite easy. Will put his friends ahead of himself (if this is a good or bad thing is up to you.) He is usually quite cautious, sometimes too much so dependent on the person. The usual right and wrong for him is clear but if it seems a blurry will try to be diplomatic about things (provided he has a clue what he is talking about.) Pretty good at seeing a silver linging with failures. If there is one that is as failures putting the world in danger will most likely have him depressed at the end.



History: Tesla has had a adventurous side nearly since birth. The sheep being one to explore on his own, having the common sense to at least stick to areas he could at least not get harmed too much. If he wasn't exploring, or trying to explore dungeons (other mons kept trying to stop him from doing this, especially with the awareness of this pokerage problem going on), he would be in plains trying to pick berries for those pokemon that are actually docile. The goof won't resist being a good Samaritan. So far this hasn't gotten him into too much trouble, but as he arrives at the Wigglytuff Guild to become a explorer, this could change.

Nickname: Gary (Given by Magnezone, heavily dislikes it and is thinking/asking around for a new one)
Species: Garchomp
Gender: Male (chip in the fin thing)
Appearance:

Team: TBA- New recruit
Guild Rank: Normal Rank

Personality: (Nature: Adamant) Arrogant, stubborn, loud, hasty, temperamental and determined. Garchomp isn’t the kindest Pokemon out there by a country mile, though he is not so unkind and selfish as to leave partners in need of help behind. His reputation in terms of power and style matters a lot to him, because of that he has a strong sense of honour in a fight and will always fight fairly. He is easily irritated and as a result he will respond aggressively when provoked or mocked by those he is unfamiliar with. Backing down from a fight isn’t an option to him, can be seen as brave because of this. Despite the rough skin he has on the exterior, on the inside he does long to be part of a community again. He also exercises a strong sense of respect to those who impress him and holds grudges towards those that betray him.

History: Former member of a notable criminal group, B Rank thugs lead by a Torkoal. Garchomp was called “Veil” back then and was regarded as the muscle of the group. Most Pokemon who crossed their path would meet their end at his claws. With a great deal of experience in fighting, and constant spurring on from the “friends” in the group, Garchomp became arrogant- though this arrogance wasn’t undeserved. He rarely lost a battle and only used fair tactics to succeed, no sucker punches or sneak attacks were in his vocabulary. If he was going to go around calling himself the strongest there was then he needed himself to believe it and that was the only way he would. One day, the gang was caught by an explorer team, this wasn’t uncommon. As usual Garchomp stayed to fight them off while Torkoal and the others got away. Torkoal promised to return for him after he’d defeated them or to find him if he got caught. Torkoal expected another victory.

But Garchomp was cocky and lost the fight, he was turned in to officer Magnezone and recognised instantly. Garchomp boasted how jail was pointless as he would soon be rescued. Magnezone made a deal with Garchomp, not wanting the group to come after him in jail that he could either go to jail or join an exploration team instead. Magnezone thought he’d be useful in solving the mystery of the disappearing Pokemon. Garchomp chose the latter, expecting it to be easier for them to rescue him this way, to prove he was dedicated to change his ways Garchomp had to help around the Kecleon shop for a year under probation 24 hours a day. Garchomp expected to hear from his old “friends” and eventually rejoin them, but he never did. Seemingly, they abandoned him. Frustrated with his treatment by them, Garchomp took Magnezone‘s deal seriously and swore to become the greatest explorer of any exploration team, of which his would be the best, and hunt his old “friends” down.

Items: After the year of service was up, Magnezone gave him a torn focus sash and tied it to the base of his dorsal fin. It belonged to another criminal he had chosen to reform in the past.

Nickname: Sanada

Species: Tyrantrum

Gender: Male

Appearance: Sanada is a rather ancient-looking Tyrantrum. Despite his demeanor and the strength behind his every movement, his age really starts to show on his scales- growing dull in coloration in accordance with his age. His eyes seem darker than most as well.

Team: Team Earth Shakers

Guild Rank: Normal Rank

Personality: Sanada is definitely a strange case- very few have heard of a creature practically as ancient as he being a new recruit, of all things. However, his personality makes up for it- hearty and friendly, he would always be the kind of Pokemon who could barge into a room with a warm greeting and a strong handshake...if he could reach anything with his claws, at least. Age and experience had weathered Sanada to the rougher kinds of battles, and as a father, he had grown to be very protective of his loved ones and comrades.

History: Most Pokemon know Sanada as a rather old but active member of the community, though he had initially never shown interest in exploration. Rumor has it that as a Tyrunt, he used to be an explorer but he denies these claims. He had apparently settled down after he had been left to raise a whole family of small Tyrunts due to his wife going missing while on an exploration.
Sanada didn't take this news too well, but decided to forge on, promising to himself that he'd be strong for the sake of his children. As they grew from small, whipper-snappers barely as tall as his left claw into strong and healthy young Tyrunts however, Sanada found that he could start to relax- and address one mystery that had always sat at the back of his mind.
He decided to take up exploration in order to provide more for his family and- maybe one day; find his missing wife.

Items: Sanada wears the small tooth of a Tyrunt formed into a necklace around one claw as a bracelet of sorts- a charm given to him by his youngest. He also seems to carry around a small satchel with necessities and a few berries.



(Favorite gym leader is Winona from Hoenn. Man, I still remember how she beat my team to a pulp in Ruby all those years ago. XD)
