Character pictures

What websites and things do people generally use to get pictures for characters? This may sound really dumb but I always struggle to find good pictures.

Realistic pictures, not popular celebrities because that would be really obvious. Possibly with a search function although I'm not quite sure how that would work. Just wherever everyone finds pictures that I seem to have completely missed.
