Of course, she is very resourceful when it comes to battle strategy, even if she doesn't appear so. Although, if you mess with her hair, her personality changes drastically, and she'll have her pokemon attack the one who did mess with her hair.

In battle, she turns into a completely different person. She is more stubborn, but cares more about the safety of her pokemon than winning.

Other: Fore a while, Ethan tried Pokemon Contests, without much success. He couldn't put all his heart into it. He then tried Gym battles, but couldn't get more than two badges, he couldn't put all his heart into it either. He then went to a conference about prehistoric life and he found his passion: he will become a pokemon researcher.
