Name: Veil Pine

City and region of origin: Kasado City, Johto


Personality: Veil is a reserved individual who doesn't speak much.  He loves contests and battling, striving to bring out his team's beauty and personality in both contests and battles, therefore he spends a lot of time on making his Pokemon team look good.  When he isn't spending his time training his Pokemon, he likes to draw and work with his hands.   He'll take his Pokemon's attacks if he thinks it will make them stronger.  Veil cares deeply for his Pokemon though to others he is aloof and cold appearing.  Veil is always doing something as he hates being idle.  Being idle makes him restless so he working with his hands helps keep him busy.  He hates losing but knows it is just another step in becoming great.  Veil views other people with distrust and it is nearly impossible to someone, trust is something that you have to earn with Veil.  He cares deeply for his mother and would do anything for her and when he is home, he always visits his father's grave before beginning and coming home from a journey.

Pokedex Entry: Gastly, the Gas Pokémon. Some researchers believe this Pokémon is a multidimensional being.

Appearance: He has dark skin, straight shoulder-length black hair with natural auburn streaks, teal eyes, he has burn scars on his arms from a fire, 5'0" tall and athletic.    He tends to look like his father for the most part except his mother's auburn hair shines through with Veil's natural auburn streaks. 


Likes: Spicy Food, Drawing, battling and contests, Traveling, working with his hands


Dislikes: Losing, Cold foods, Snow, picture being taken, dishonesty, sweets 


Other: He is a coordinator/trainer.  


Biography: Due to start his journey when he was ten, like all other trainers, Veil's family fell into hard times when his father got laid was injured at work and his family came into financial difficulties due to medical bills.  This prevented Veil from starting on his journey, so he apprenticed beneath Professor Elm to gain some experience with Pokemon and earn some training. Veil tried to offer some money to his parents to help out with costs but they told him to save his money.  He did so but things got bad when his father passed away on Christmas of his tenth birthday.  Their financial situation just grew worse from there, his mother having to go out of the home to work but even her salary wasn't enough for Veil to go on a journey so another year passed, another year that he wasn't on a journey, yet he never complained.  


When he turned twelve, his mother had good news.  She had put money away for her son and in addition to two years' of money he had saved from working under Professor Elm, Veil was finally able to go to on his journey at last.  Veil went to Professor Elm to get his starter only to find there were no Pokemon left as there were three other beginning trainers who would begin their own journeys along with Veil being the fourth member of his hometown to go.  Professor Elm contacted the other regional professors and Professor Oak sent over a Charmander that had been injured in a storm and had been in Nurse Joy's care.  He set off with Charmander at his side and they've been partners ever since.

Jake is a cold and direct person. Hr is really obedient, but he'll give her opinion if he thinks something with the plan or the mission is wrong. He'll stay firm on his opinion and it takes a lot to make him change his mind (Which can be a problem sometimes)He is an extremely intelligent person he will acomplish almost any engineering or comprehension task. He is always there to help his comrades and even though he prefers to keep his head inside book he is always there for his friends. He loves training and he hates to be interrupted, and even though he seems a bit emotionless and antisocial he is always going to be there for his friends and comrades.

Personality: Isabela is quite extroverted, loving to speak to any and all people she meets. She attempts to infect those around her with her upbeat attitude and can easily be swayed from a bad mood into a good mood by other people. She often doesn't stay still for long, swaying on her heels, jumping from foot to foot or simply bring out her Pokemon to play when she gets bored. While she will happily battle in a contest Isabela gets quite nervous while battling normally as her normal flash and flare can and has quickly gotten her pokemon hurt by stronger trainers.  She quite often spoils her Pokemon, making sure they're always clean and looking their best at all times and sneaking as many treats as she can.

On first interaction Celeste is quiet and standoffish to any and everyone. Only until someone takes the time to talk to and warm up to him will he reveal his true random being. Very straight forward and usually naive to basic aspects of conversation or life even with knowing this he simply accepts this fact. Loves spending time with his friends and making people laugh.
