plot brainstorming, most definitely. I think it would be cool if in addition to maybe unique powers, each character is a specialist in a field, like 'suzzy' is an expert botanist, 'landon' is a chemist, etc. (marine biologist, physicist, mathematician, cs). And these specialties kind of determine what assignments their given and where they travel to, (like botanist goes to the amazonian rain forest, marine biologist goes to the carribean, etc.)
