Brief background-
(You are either a pirate or sailor whose ship and captain was destroyed somewhat recently leaving you stranded at Horso during the riots. Alternatively you are a local of Horso who survived the riots but lost almost everything, finally deciding enough is enough)

As I'm playing two characters mostly the same I'll post them in the same sheet

Appearance-

As identical twins Both stand 5ft9.
Bo with short messy brownish red hair.
Jay with short messy hair that is blood red.
Green eyes tanned skin with many faded scars across the back.
Lean muscular appearance, Bo usually looking quite stoic while Jay normally has a permanent dopey smile as if drugged.

Gear-
Leather armor with a mix chain mail. Bo wields a katana as well as a pistol.
(Small bag of lead bullets included). Cloth shirt and pants, bag of gold, pipe, dagger.

Jay wears similar armour and clothes but has a duel pair of sword breakers (large daggers with teeth on one side)
A pipe and many pouches/vials of let's say alchemy ingredients.
Small block of flint, metal boomerang.

Magic/power-
Bo has none, uses runes to appear as if he has control over fire.

Jay was originally wind, but a ritualistic curse made that wind a twisted poisonous smoke that effected the boy forever.

Role on ship and why-
Captains of the soon to be formed Demon crew, Both are strong and somewhat capable of leading but Jay's fearless nature and overwhelming strength is rather inspiring. Bo is much more reliable and capable of making and following a decent plan. Together they manage to assemble a crew from the destroyed town of Horzo.

Skills/talents-
Both twins are...
Capable fighters close quarters or with magic, it was whipped and beaten into them.
Accuracy, practice makes perfect... also they could only eat what had been struck in mid air.
Sneaky, be it slight of hand or staying out of sight, years of stealing and running have made the twins fast and capable.

Jay can be quite the ladies man if somewhat clean and not being particularly idiotic and vile

Jay being cursed has resulted with different properties to his magic, be it his natural smoke or a reaction to the amount of chemicals Jay consumes or partakes of daily...
The smoke at its weakest is a mild sedative effect but at its worst the smoke is a poisonous hallucinogen. For as long as the twins can remember Jay is unaffected by Ragga and similar toxins. To say "immune to poison" would be to broad a claim but he definitely has a resitance.

Flaws/vices-
Bo has nothing but revenge on his mind.
Ptsd from childhood that left him with night terrors.
Addiction to alcohol.
Socially awkward, particularly around beautiful women.

Jay is cursed, mentally unprepared for the world he is a downright fucking idiot. One would think he is always drunk or worse but that is just Jay's natural state of mind. As well compounded effects of his addiction to smoke and drink.
Jay cannot be left to complete any task whatsoever. Needing constant supervision less he cause trouble for his own base desires. General common sense and knowledge seems to come and go. Despite Bo teaching Jay multiple times about things such as barter and basic manners. Jay will often treat the world as his and do what he pleases. Brazenly steals, defends his bad actions to the death, urinates/shits in public...
Jay would have destroyed society or been hunted down by everyone if not for his more level headed brother.


Brief background-
The twins were kidnapped as children by the Blue Dragon Xiao Kuruso and forced into slavery/experimentation. At age five Jay was subject to a ritual that replaced most of his blood with something else entirely. With the ritual a success the blue Dragon decided to adopt the boys into his crew and raise them as his loyal dogs. That is to say instead of selling them...

Many years of cruel and eccentric training would be forced upon the boys.
Bo seething internally burning with rage, Jay happy for the chance to eat fish every so often.

When the two were sent on a job by Xiao, Bo led his brother and a Fox Beastkin into defecting from the blue dragons crew. The three worked as mercenaries until Paulo the fox was captured by the dragons. The twins attempted to form their own pirate crew to varying degrees of success. While capable fighters and able to work on a ship (Jay needs constant instruction) the two could not manage to captain a crew successfully.
Jay somehow being more inspiring then his brother but to stupid to lead.
The two continued to make a name as sellswords. Even competing and winning in the prestigious arena of HanSarah. This is where the two became famous as the Demon twins.

They were tracking the green Dragon to Horso when the riot happened, destroying the ship they rode in on and all the supplies in the cargo hold.
Needless to say Both of them are pissed. Jay attempting to start a riot again...
Bo attempting to rally the people into following his daring plan.

Name-Zuk "Jaws" Whiteshell

He looks like the image above except for the gear and he is albino. He stands at 5'8 and about 310 pounds (mostly his shell.) he is covered head to toe with scares and his shell is covered in engravings that tell of every crime he has committed.

Gear-Pair of hide pants(brown), large cleaver(4 foot long), satchel, small keg with shoulder strap(rope he tied to it, cook book, scrimshaw kit, Bag of finger bones, teeth, and fangs.

Skills/talents-
Cooking-is a decent cook and with just a few spices can make a simple meal delicious.
Scrimshaw-Knows how to carve bone with runic symbols.
singing-Can carry a tune.
hunting-Is patient and knows the wilds.
Big lungs- can hold his breath for about 2 hours max.
strong-can crush a mans skull with one hand easily.
tough(thick hide+scales+shell=you gotta hit really hard).
Bite-his jaws are his most potent weapon, can bite through most medium armor.
Fighting-He knows how to throw a punch and use his cleaver.
Swimming- Is a good swimmer. Can only last about three hours in open water as he's used to rivers and swamps.
Flaws/vices-Slow-he's heavy and large so don't expect him to win any races.
Big-hard to miss him.(most attacks hit and not good at stealth.
Anger problems -he's got a short fuse.
Heavy- he wighs a bit over 310 pounds, if he goes down it's gonna take a bit to get up.
Marked-due to the engravings on his shell most tortels hate him. Some may even attack on site.
Glutton-Food doesn't last long around him.
Hates Nobles-A noble was the one who caught and marked him, he will repay that a thousand fold.
Honorable- despite his criminal way he always hold his word if he says if you pay him he'll protect you store then he will. Of course this is also true if he says if you don't pay he'll wreak your store.
What do you do on the ship: Cook- Cook. He is very good at turning even the most simple meal delicious with a few spices. He can also help gather the food with his skills at hunting both on land and water.




Brief background-
Zuk was a bandit who was caught by a local lord of his people and then marked for his crimes and put on display for all to see and mock before his execution. He escaped before the deed was done though, much to the crowds dismay as he vented on them a little before escaping into a nearby river. He then headed toward the ocean stealing a small sail boat on the way looking to escape down the coast. That didn't work out to well when the storm appeared. One second it was sunny the next it was a monsoon. The last thing he saw before passing out was that dame noble holding some sort of glowing silver orb. He awoke on in the middle of the ocean with a badly damaged but still functioning boat. He sailed for days before arriving at Horso badly dehydrated but alive, and has been here for a few months eeking out a life, but well enough is enough its time people learned to fear "Jaws" again.
Crimes: Murder, assault, cannibalism, vandalism, blackmail, extortion, theft, tax evasion, tax theft, desecration of a holy site, assault of a priest, murder of a priest, violent public drunken behavior.

Age: 26
Appearance: Faelyn stands at 5'5 with a muscular build. His eyes are piercing gold that matches the front sections of his hair. Faelyn's black and blond curls reach just beneath his shoulders. The young man does have tattoos that line his golden bronze body, starting from the left side of his neck and trailing down to his right thigh.

Gear: His medical journal, three healings runes (Emergency use for others), leather armor, syringes, potions, and a specially crafted metal parasol made by Faelyn's clan specifically for him.

A trained doctor, acrobatics, flexibility, a decent fighter, herbalist, knife throwing, and gardening

Flaws/vices:
Experimenting - Faelyn loves to make new herbal/alchemic potions that he usually tests on willing, or unwilling/unknowning, people. His thought process is that he can fix them no matter what.
Obsessive - When Faelyn has set his mind to do something he can become quite obsessive and dangerous depending on what it is. One of his consistent obsessions is keeping his patients from being hurt and/or killed and he will go so far as to hurt them himself, just to keep them from more harm
Inner thoughts - Faelyn some times says his inner thoughts out loud.
Lack of skill with powers - Faelyn neglects his training with his powers, instead choosing to put his nose in medical books. Compared to the rest of his family his skill with his powers is lacking.


Role on ship and why:
Doctor/Herbalist
"I'm a trained doctor and herbalist. Every crew needs a medic of some type, and it's a bonus that I know about plants, meaning I can cure ANY POISON...Not really, but you don't know that."

Brief background:
Faelyn is one of 10 kids within his household. His clan's tradition is to train every child as if they are going to be the next clan leader. All of the Qican children are allowed to choose their field of study, but they must learn basic academics, management skills, and combat. Faelyn, the more curious child, would often neglect his other studies and training for pharmacology and herbology. When he came of age he left home to widen his scope as a doctor.

During his travels, he would offer his services and advice where ever he went, and Horso was no different. Faelyn had been in Horso for a while, taking notes on the plants that grew around the town and working in the main doctor's office, when the assault on Horso happened, Faelyn tried his best to save as many people as possible, but he feels that the lives lost that day are on his fault or at least he could have prevented more. Taking on the responsibility of revenge for his patients and their families.
