Other PhD burnout

Hi everyone.

I started a PhD in September and have been burning the midnight oil AND both ends of the proverbial candle. I'm burnt out. So I'm planning on taking the week off as my Uni is on its reading week. Anyone got any ideas on what to do? Already 24 hours in and feeling a little bit bored........
 
Do things unrelated to work. Especially physical activities help with mental exhaustion. Apart from that, making a planning and sticking to it helps with burnout. Avoid 'burning the midnight oil' and set realistic goals over reasonable periods of time.
