Bio: A young American girl who moved to Japan at a younger age with her mother and father, Krystal and Drake. It was hard for her to adjust to the setting due to her language barrier and cultural differences, but once she managed to get used to it, it became natural for her.

She is very kind and optimistic, but can be shy around people she doesn't know, especially in large groups. Despite this, she does love to make friends. She loves to read books and watch TV, but she's basically uncultured. She's also clumsy and tends to face bad luck. Her favorite food is the chocolate chip cookie.

Her conflict is that, depite her hopefulness and cheer, nothing seems to be going right, as shown from her bad luck. This has caused her to become much more quiet and depressed; she would not admit this to other people, of course.

Bio: Itsuki Akatsuki is the son of two governmental agents. Due to his parents having to travel a lot for their job. Itsuki is pretty used to being self-sufficient. Having grown up in a small town located in the Japanese Countryside. Itsuki's life mainly consisted of school, homework and napping. That changed with his parents announcement that he would be spending the next year on Sumaru Island. His godfather Yuzuru Datenshi had agreed to take him in for his second year of High School. Moving to the relatively new landmass the following April. Itsuki began working part-time at his Uncle Yuzuru's cafe in order to adapt to his new life on Sumaru Island.

Bio: Atsuko is the result of an affair between a Russian business man and a Japanese doctor, the latter of which raised and provided for her until she turned ten, the former tends to show up rather sporadically and never stays for for long.

Due to her mother being unmarried and something of a known 'nutcase' Atsuko was typically kept away from people as a child out of general protection, adults were gossips and kids were cruel after all, however the self-induced isolation and rather... Harsh study schedule she was subjected too on behalf of her mother made her bad with people, and more than a bit arrogant as she continued to breeze through everything her mother put in front of her, (well, she tried to make it seem that way at least, she wanted to make her mother proud), which, eventually, began to host resentment in her mother, who was jealous of the way Atsuko seemed to never have trouble with the all the work she put in front of her, it wasn't fair in the woman's eyes, she had worked her ass off for both her degree, and her daughter, and thought that least the girl could do was at best be a little stupid. To stop demanding all her father's attention. Let her act like a mother instead of a fucking tutor the girl had to cook for.

This built up resentment came to a head around the time when Atsuko was ten, after she requested to attend public school, Rei, her mother, snapped and attempted to physically harm her. While this was happening, Atsuko's father, Alexei was beginning to focus more of his attention on his work, and other people, barely taking into account his daughter and her mother.

After the incident, Rei contacted a friend, Hamasaki Kanako, a lawyer, to take her daughter in. Kanako agreed, as did her husband Shou, and they began to care and raise for Atsuko alongside their son Seiichi. Although the damage was a bit irreversible after Rei cut contact with the new family of four shortly after, making Atsuko believe that she hadn't 'performed' well enough for her mother, and proceeded to try and sore high and above every expectations set for her thereafter, whether that meant breaking a limb in the process or not.

This unhealthy behavior persists for the rest of her rather short childhood, and well into her teenage years, as few as they may be at this point.

Atsuko's conflict comes from being unable to accept help with her struggles, both internal and external, and pushing people away with her rather abrasive and haughty personality. She has to come to terms with the fact that no matter what she does, she'll never truly be able to please her mother, much less her father.

Hinagiku, usually called Hina/H.H. was born to Miihi and Clarke Hughes who decided to move into Sumaru, a new artificial island in the coast of Japan. Hina's parents raised her like most Asian parents did-- strictly. She was expected to have good grades, great at sport, and creative enough for art & music. From a very young age, her parents had always wanted her to live 'perfectly', so she did. She convinced herself that she was happy to be 'perfect'.

It didn't come off as a surprise to Hina--or her family for that matter--that Hina was elected to be the student council president of Sumaru High in her senior year. She beat her competitor by a landslide, due to the 'perfect' reputation that she always maintained. Everyone, teacher or student, knew her for her academic strides and great attitude. On the other hand, Hina barely knows anyone enough to call them her 'friend'. Perhaps due to the fact that she lived a very strict life under the supervision of her parents, she doesn't understand the importance of 'small talk' or 'having meals with your friends'.

Occasionally, Hina asks herself a question that she doesn't know the answer to. "Is this all to life?"
Maybe she wasn't so perfect after all.

Appearance
Usually seen wearing her normal school attire, Hina stands at 5'8 tall. Hina's eyes reflect the same color as her hair, an energetic orange that never seems to die down. She has a lean build, accentuated by her rather than complexion. Hina greets everyone she meets, due to a sense of politeness that she feels the need to uphold.

For a majority of her life, since before she could really walk and talk, her parents were going around the world as business consultants which just amounted to telling businesses the obvious and getting them to do it. Because of this Allison learned to be self sufficient from a young age which also had the unfortunate side effect of her disliking her parents for never being there for when she really needed. What really destroyed her social life was the fact that due to being constantly on the move she rarely stayed in a single school for longer than a month.

This mix of resentment and being used to being the new girl when her mother finally decided to stop travelling and started doing meetings on the computer from home, they had settled down in Sumaru Island and she was about 15. Allison was rarely home if at all from that time on, she constantly was off doing her own thing including bleaching her hair a bright blonde. She refused to find any friends at school often yelling and threatening violence to anyone who came even close to her. This has been going on for the past three years and has become an infamous delinquent specifically because of...prior fighting experience with bullies and such.
