Bio: A vengeful spirit, he was defeated in battle against an extremely powerful and legendary creature. His wrath lingered but the only way for him to rest in peace is if it gets defeated. Paperteer is not picky on who defeats them; as long as the creature loses against someone. Paperteer knew he couldn't defeat the creature on his own no matter how much he trained so he created marionettes to do his bidding. He started with Goombas, then found Koopas more powerful, but discovered how dangerous Shy Guys can be. He continued to change the models of his marionettes each and every day to something more stronger until he found one particular person who has been saving the Mushroom Kingdom for countless times; Mario. Believing that if his marionette models were fashioned after him, he could defeat the creature in no time. For the first time since, well, ever, it proved difficult to mimic the sheer awesomeness that is Mario's powers since he was unique. So, the only way to know if his marionettes are powerful or not is to make them defeat Mario themselves.
Personality: A greedy and power obsessed person, Paperteer will stop at nothing until he completed what he started. He's not into the hip of things, and doesn't care about anything else except for anything that could defeat the monster. He might look friendly at first but only because he is searching for power. He's nothing else but vengeance. Still, that doesn't mean he doesn't have social-quality, it's just that he doesn't usually want to be with people unless they would help him in his task.
