Oz is the son of an ex-soldier from the Reichmond Estate, deserting after he realized he had fathered a child. He raised the child in the woods, far from the eye of Reichmond, so that the child might be free of his tyranny. Sadly, when the child was ten, the pair were found by bountyhunters. Their house was burned and Oz watched his father, barely conscious , get dragged away. Oz himself was taken away separately to be sold as a slave. He was then sold to a noble of house Reichmond. He would then live through his father's public execution and ten years of cruel servitude. From the day of his father's execution, he swore revenge on all of house Reichmond. One day, he finally escaped, stowed away in the back of a gypsy caravan. He intended only to ride along and escape, but when the owner of the caravan found the boy, she took a liking to him and adopted him into her family. His need for revenge would grow, especially as he learned that there were ways to get powers, contracts that could be made. Forgoing the idea demonic rituals, he began to dedicate his life to the worship of Fae, hoping to one day make such a contract.
