Shadowmancer Powers:
Shadow walking: A type of teleportation using shadows to transport oneself. Though distance is limited to one's strength as a shadowmancer and concentration. Other limitations is you have to have some type of shade of shadow other than your own. It doesn't work in complete darkness neither.
Shadow manipulation: You can shape and manipulation. Use them as an extension of your body, harden shape them for weapons/armor etc.
Transformation: This is a technique used very rarely, normally only when your knocking at death's door. The power allows you to turn into your own shadow. While stuck in shadow form you can heal and no damage can be physical done to you by any metal weapons. Though if you stay in this form long enough you will eventually be unable to turn back into your physical body. The time limit on this is 2 days.
Another: This last technique is called Another it is only thought of as a rumor and only the royal family knows it actually exist. Though this power is considered taboo, and anyone who has done has lost their life wither by public execution or from the price they had to pay. In shadowmancer religion your soul is thought to have counterpart, and anti you so to speak. The technique Another brings that counterpart alive and gives it physical form. It is its own walking talking being, but it is bound to you, so if you die it dies and vice versa. Along with this summoning of this anti you, you have to pay a price always something dear to you. The life of another, money, your looks etc. Also, this other will not always me the most friendly thing.
Aruas Powers:
Summoning: Summoning is pretty much what the name describes. To summon you use your energy to create things and make them appear. Ex; You can make a sword, or a maybe a cup for drinking out of. Though this takes a lot of energy so the more complicated the object or thing the more energy it takes.
Bind: Bind is often used to keep prisoners of war in their place. Binding is when you connects two peoples life force together and is easily done even by lesser Aruas. Once a person is connected another it allows them to feel eachs others physical pain, and has some of the same effects of as the shadowmancers another. Since the two livings people's life force is bound to each other if one dies so does the other. That is why they often use it on war prisons. It is a very easy way to threaten and torture them.
Charm speaking: This is a forbidden art that is often solely found in royals. This power allows you to "persuade" those who need persuading, planting ideas in another's head and forcing them to think like you and agree to what you say.
Blind: This one is a simple power which makes you unable to be looked at. It can blind opponents and is good for escape.
Aruas: All Aruas can see the life source of each other and even shadowmancers.
