Pigeon
Columbidae
... there was a girl named Pigeon. She loved to read and so surrounded herself with wonderful books from every corner of the bookstore. Their pages were filled with magic and romance, mystery and suspense. Oh, how it made her want to dive headfirst into those stories herself!
So Pigeon began to write, poorly at first (as may things are done at the beginning), but she kept at it until she fell into her own personal style. She found online communities of fellow writers. Together they shared their stories and offered feedback or words of encouragement. They were nice communities, but still something was missing.
It nagged Pigeon, annoyingly so. She had immersed herself in the worlds she loved, she had created her own characters and written her own stories. Why did she still feel empty?
Months flew by, but eventually she stumbled upon role-playing. Of course! Collaborative writing! That was the missing piece! And so she embarked on a quest to think up some truly awesome role-plays with some truly awesome role-players.
Which is how she found herself here at the gates of RP Nation.

Alooooooha! I'm Pigeon - sup? - and I'm ecstatic to be here. I've been writing/role-playing on-and-off for the past, oh, five-ish years. I'm no seasoned expert, but I've learned a few things I like and a few things I don't. For instance, I've come to love modern, historical, and fantasy role-plays while I'm no longer as infatuated with dystopian and arena-style role-plays as I once was. Groups and one-on-ones are all copacetic, though I tend to stick to smaller groups.
When I've gathered some ideas, I'll very likely put out an Interest Check thread. Until then, I look forward to meeting you all, and hope we get a chance to write together soon!
Apart from writing, I am also fond of reading, art, and mangling the occasional beloved Disney song on the piano.
