The Cryogenic facility above had failed, during its sealing the military members had fallen to the unstoppable onslaught of infected spilling in from the south as the fires in Los Angeles drove the infected northward. The short gap between the two large cities caused mayhem as the coastal cities were overrun, only the natural land barriers and narrow valleys between the two cities buying the military any time at all. What time it did buy them, afforded them to seal almost half of the facility away, of the two hundred floors, forty of them were sealed off from the others with the secondary hot lab acting as the new mainframe. The facilities communication devices fell dark, and as time passed, the various teams within the hot labs knew that they had only their work left to attempt to create a cure, or a weapon to fight the infected.
Now, As the Colorado Facility's beacon has begun to awaken the varying facilities around the globe, the San Francisco Facility is awakening, the lab technicians, as well as their successes, or failures, will soon see the light once more, they will awaken, and they will either plunge the survivors of this lost facility into chaos once more, or they will usher hope forth from their broken facility...
