There is a planet called Earth that we all know fairly well. Its made out of mostly water and holds billions of humans living their tiny lives unaware of the real truth.
In a far away universe, there is a mystical land unknown to all humans. Its filled with elves, dwarves, dragons, druids, orcs, etc. In this world, instead of countries there are kingdoms. There are a total of 6 kingdoms named after the 6 elements: Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Light, Dark. They are sometimes called by their latin name. The kingdom of darkness is filled with demons, and those of your darkest nightmares. Other than that, everything is fairly happy.


Until one day, a storm brewed up. Lord Vincent became king. He was a dark elf from the kingdom of darkness. He was manipulative, sadistic, and hated every race except his own. Millions of people were forced out of their homes, crops died, streams dried out... it became his own version of Hell. He enjoyed their suffering. As long as people were crying, he would remain happy.


Lord Vincent has to be stopped. Will you be able to stop him or will you fall to his hand like so many others have before?

Races:


Elves:


One of the most common races. There are different types of races depending on their habitat. Wood elves live in the forests and are very accepting of other wood elves but aren't as trusting toward any other race. Dark elves, blood elves, and night elves live in the Kingdom of Darkness and regular/city elves live in cities. They all have pretty much their own cities they live in so they don't usually deal with other races well. They are especially not friendly with dwarves.


Dwarves:


Short and chubby, they mostly live in mines and underground but sometimes you can find them drinking at an inn. They are very well known for their long beards and deep voices. Most dwarves are male but sometimes you will find a female dwarf wandering around.

Dragons:

The most well respected race in the world. They used to be hunted but now that they are endangered, they are being protected and since their peace treaty with the other races, they have started to protect Oblivion from outsiders. Most dragons live in mountains away from society and all dragons have a human form they take on in case they go into the city.

Orcs, Giants, and others alike:

They inhabit the forests with the elves. They are seen rarely but when they are seen, they are found in groups. They used to do their own thing but ever since Lord Vincent became king and started enslaving them, they have learned to put aside their difference and protect each other as one.

Mermaids:

Considered myths, but every so often you will find one swimming around in a lake or an ocean. Not much else is known about them.

Demons:

Not as common as one would think but they tend to inhabit the Kingdom of Darkness. They protect the kingdom from outsiders. Most don't have a humanoid appearance but there are some that are strong enough to take on a human appearance. These demons are more terrifying than regular demons since they can take on any form they like and are able to manipulate strange travelers easier right before killing them.

Classes:


Mages:


They are very rare to find nowadays since Lord Vincent finds and burns them at the stake since he considers mages to be witches. Its a crime if you can control magic. They tend to travel as gypsies. Some travel through forests and others travel through towns. It really depends on the mages. A lot of them are hide to find since they don't use their magic as much anymore and are able to blend in with civilization.


Soldiers:


They tend to work for their king or queen and protect their kingdom from trespassers and traitors.


Royalty:


There is Lord Vincent that rules the entire world but within each kingdom, there are kings and queens that rule their kingdom and he considers them to be lesser kings and lesser queens. Royalty consists of Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses.

Commoners:

They live in houses and apartments throughout the world.


Homeless/Poor:


They live on the streets and most do whatever it takes to survive. The elderly just lay back and let nature take its course.


Noble:


Nobles are that of royal blood but aren't exactly in line for the throne. These are Duke/Duchesses, Earls/Countess, baron/baronesses, etc...


Aristocrat:


Those of the upper class; the wealthy.
