born in los angeles, california, to john and miranda ambrose, oliver had a pretty good childhood. the family of three would often go to the beach, john teaching oliver how to surf from a young age, the sport being something that oliver quickly fell in love with. as he grew up, he found the beach to be his safe place, and he'd often find himself there during the summer, his parents in tow. when oliver was twelve, however, his parents were in for a bit of a surprise when they found out miranda was pregnant, nine months later giving birth to oliver's younger brother, trevor. from the day that he was born, oliver quickly became trevor's best friend, and oliver absolutely fell in love with him. oliver graduated from high school and accepted a scholarship to play baseball at ucla, and he's just trying to make the best of his last summer at the beach house in malibu before he leaves for college.
