Rules

Before you moan and groan. Every RP has to have them. So lets get this over with quickly and painlessly.

1.
Activeness is the Key!- Make sure you post actively and if you can't post or are going to be gone for awhile. Let me or Karma know. Don't just drop out either, let us know you are going to be gone.

2.
Details are important- We expect you to post the minimum of one paragraph. One nice chunky paragraph, it's not that hard, we are all writers here.

3.
Use your head- No controlling other peoples characters, perfect characters, godmodding or any of that nonsense. Some OP powers are allowed but run them by the group leaders first.

4.
No drama llamas or Rude Brutes- Keep the drama and nastiness inside the RP. Starting up drama between members just ruins the fun for everyone. So keep it out.

5.
Obey your masters- Just kidding we aren't masters, but Karma and my words are law.

6.
No turning this into a 1x1- No ten pages of two people back to back, give others the chance to post too.

5.
Golden Rule- Have fun and keep this alive. It's too awesome to bye bye D;

Also if you have any suggestions for things that happen in the RP. Sub-plots, cases to solve. Me and Karmi are all ears ^^

Diyanna awoke with her arms and legs kicking the air, her face was scrunched up with fear and anger. Suddenly when her mind realized that it was just a dream, her light brown eyes opened wide and a gasp flew from her pink lips. Noticing that she was in her own room she let a sigh out then sat up straight. Sweat beaded her forehead as the feeling of something pounded on her head, it was the oncoming of a hangover. With a groan, Diyanna slipped out of bed and began walking. Her feet kicked a few empty beer bottles as well as the large green apple vodka bottle, which was the cause of this headache. Making her way to the bathroom that was connected to her room she took her time to turn on the warm water. Ugh, something greasy for breakfast would make her morning and even though she could make something... it was going beyond her morning activity limit. Mornings. A horrible time during the day that could make anyone grouchy.

It took Diyanna about 10 minutes to clean herself before getting out and dressing in a pair of ripped jeans and a black tank top that hugged her frame. She didn't bother with the wet hair after she wrung it out as best she could, pulling on a pair of white ankle high socks and then black combat boots. Leaving her room Diyanna made sure to bring her cigarette box with her. She went past the kitchen and into the backyard, taking a seat and lighting one of her cigarettes. The hangover was bad but it wasn't one of the worst ones she's had, smoking the cigarette relieved some of the pain and all calmed her down. Chilly morning air brushed by her bare skin, making her shiver especially since her hair was still wet. The things she does just to get a little smoke time. If she was in her office it would be a totally different thing, Diyanna was allowed to smoke in there because hell, it was her d*mn office. She leaned against the little table she sat in front of and just starred off into the light fog that took over the yard, Diya was sure that if she went to the front there would be plenty of fog there as well. Mornings were always foggy and it got worst when it was winter and the driving cars can't see a single thing in front of them.

Taking a long drag from the cigarette pinched in between her fingers Diya let a small sigh leave her lips, causing the smoke to flow into the air and she watched it do so. A lot of mornings Diyanna was the first to wake up, either because of a nightmare or because the hangover was strong enough to wake her up. Unfortunately she preferred the latter. Her long and perfectly manicured fingers tapped the table, each making a beat of their own as the silent morning went by. Birds chirped around like the sound of a car or two drove through the neighborhood, a neighborhood that had hidden cameras set up around the place. Something Diyanna had wanted just in case someone decided to be stupid enough to ambush them. There were weapons hidden all over the house, each of them were for emergencies only and if her father was still alive she was sure he'd appreciate the varieties of weapons. Diyanna chuckled a bit. The old fool wasn't alive, he lay about 10 feet into the dirt. Diyanna should know, she put him and his men into the same grave. A grave that soon had a road built on top of it, bodies that would never be found.

"Someone needs to make me breakfast," Diya mumbled to herself, hoping one of of her people would wake up and decide to make breakfast. Because she was sure everyone knew that Diyanna wasn't cooking breakfast unless it was a last resort.

~Valeria~

The pretty brunette lay on her bed in a light sleep, if you were close to her you would be able to hear the light breathing through her nose. Her alarm clock beeped furiously beside her and Valeria jumped awake, her brown eyes looking around quickly to realize that once again it was that stupid clock that almost gave her a heart attack. She'd be better off asking one of the others to wake her up, it wasn't enjoyable to have a rare dream that was good and then awake with her heart pounding wildly in her chest. Narrowing her eyes Val slammed her small hand down on the alarm clock, stopping the loud beeping noise it emitted. Finally piece and quiet.

Valeria stretched herself out with a little noise before hoping out of the bed and walking into the bathroom, she got her morning routine finished within minutes and just as she was about to get dressed her eyes noticed the unfinished puzzle that lay on the desk in her room. Leave it. Just... leave it alone, it isn't harming anyone. With a roll of her eyes Val sat down in the chair in just her blue underwear, her dark blue painted nails moving pieces of the the puzzle into the correct spots. It amazed her that Valeria was able to go to sleep without finishing this thing, usually unfinished puzzles made her feel as if she herself was incomplete. Once finished with the puzzle Valeria got dressed in black dress that was fitted around her torso but it was flared out at the bottom, which stopped mid-thigh. Pulling a white cotton shirt with long sleeves on, it was a cute outfit and you wouldn't think she had a dress underneath but a skirt. She clipped a choker around her neck, two of them and while one of them had a pendant of the moon on the top the choker on the bottom had the sun. With that Valeria put on a pair of black flats that brought her an inch or two off the floor. After brushing her hair into a ponytail Val left her room and made her way into the kitchen, heating up some water to make a cup of tea.

Renshii had awoken an hour or so before the sun had even came up. He was perched up on the balcony reaching over the back of the house. It was quiet there and the peaceful silence made everything nearly perfect. Even the cool air felt nice with the gentle breeze. He sat there for what seemed to be an hour or two wearing nothing but a white tank-top and a pair of sweat pants. Thoughts crossing his mind about the dream that protruded his mind. It was his father telling him stories once again which was lovely memories but then it twisted in his mind to him being a part of them. He was in his fathers stories and nothing but death in the end was all that the dreams ended with. He sighed softly and closed his eyes leaning against the wall of the house. He was still on the ledge with one leg swung over the side while the other sat up with him on the railing. "Now to hope the dreams don't become a reality." He mumbled to himself before getting up and heading back into his room.

Once Renshii was in his room he looked around trying to remember where his BB gun was placed. It was a toy for when he was bored since shooting his actual rifle would probably scare the sh_t out of a few people not to mention he would end up popping a bullet inside someone, whether it be by accident or 'accident' but none the less the BB gun was a lot more safe. Renshii moved to his closet and opened it up looking to his actual sniper before shaking his head and reaching through the mess of clothing and other things before touching the barrel of the fake rifle. "Ahah!" he grinned and pulled it out and placed the strap over him carrying the rifle on his back. From that point he grabbed a container filled with bronze spheres and moved back out onto the balcony.

A few hours had passed by and around 50 BB's were scattered inside the grass from him shooting at squirrels and such. Of course he'd miss them but that was more for fun then anything. He perked as he as he watched someone come from the back and outside into the backyard. This gave him a lovely idea and made him snicker. He enjoyed having fun and screwing with people not to mention Diya didn't look fully awake yet so it would probably give her a decent scare. Me smiled softly and watched a few bird fly over head in the backyard before aiming down the scopes of the fake rifle. With that he followed one of the birds and lead it from ahead before pulling the trigger twice popping two BB's into the birds body watching it go from a swoop across the backyard to a hurtling fall straight to the ground. Wasn't to far from where Diya was at so he knew it would get atleast some reaction out of her. He snickered at the thoughts of what may happen but peeked over the side to watch and wait.

Dillan got up after sleeping through 15 minutes of his alarm clock going off. He sighed and rubbed his eyes slowly getting off his bed in his boxers and a white tank top. He reached over and turned it off making his way to the bathroom. He took a quick shower and got dressed in a black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. He walked barefoot through the house and went to the kitchen, barely making any noise as not to wake up anyone prematurely. He got to the kitchen and noticed no one had started breakfast and thought he might as well start. He passed by Val as she was making tea and started looking through the kitchen for ingredients and starts cooking. He started making pancakes while at the same time started frying bacon. The smell of frying and cooking food started to emanate from the kitchen and waft throughout the house. He looked at Val and quietly asked her " Want me to make you some? " He finished a stack of pancakes and made 3 pieces of bacon and put it on a plate and continued to make some more.

Fox woke up instantly, snapping her eyes open to a calm and tranquil morning. That didn't stop her from quickly jumping up from her hammock and landing on a tree branch outside. She quickly scurried up the tree and stuck her head above the canopy with a small yawn. She rubbed her yes and scanned her surroundings. All clear, except for a rabbit hopping in the grass near the tree. A big strong meaty looking rabbit. Fox licked her lips, breakfast in bed she believed someone called it? Quickly but silently, she swung to the bottom branches and eyed the bunny. It had no idea she was there. Good. She slunk forward and jumped. She landed on the rodent and happily snapped its neck. It writhed undr her hand for a moment then fell still as death took hold of the fuzzy vermin. Fox meanwhile took the corpse in one hand and clibed back into her small room. it wasn't really a room, more of a small library closet, most people would say. Fox was fine with it though. She slept in the grand old oak tree that was just outside the easily opened window, and she didn't need that much room other wise. her room had four things. 1. A trunk of clothes some government agent had bought her fro a thrift shop. 2. The window which dominated the small closet and faced into the backyard 3. 2 bookshelves full of an ever growing collection of books of all kinds. 4. a small raised reading area by the window. She loved her little room dearly. But taking in it's features was not what she was there to do. She strode over to her small sack of belongings and quickly threw a robe over her disheveled sleep clothes, and made a token but ultimately vain effort to dislodge the leaves and twigs from her dark auburn hair. She shrugged after a minute and silently crept downstairs. Her new teammates were never happy to see fresh food for some odd reason. She took a large tray and knife for the kitchen and skinned the small creature in the dining room. She was about to take a bite when she remembered the no raw food rule. Food safety apparently. If she cared about her foods safety she wouldn't pounce on it and break its neck. She complied and threw it in the oven after several minutes of dial fiddling. She scurried back up to get a book to entertain herself and spent most of the baking time deciding what to read. She eventually selected a book with a huge fire breathing lizard on it, fighting some kind of guy in a metal suit. It looked awesome and she couldn't wait to start the tale, when something caught her nose. Pork? It smelled amazing. She grabbed the thick tome and jumped down the stairs to the oven/stove combination where she found. Dillan? She thought that was his name. But she had more pressing concerns. She grabbed some covers for her hands and lightly shoved the boy aside. "Morning!" She said brightly as she pulled the still very rare rabbit out of the oven and grabbed a leg of meat for herself. "You making bacon? I'll trade you for some rabbit."

Andy~

It was a beautiful morning, Andy was wide awake with a bright smile on his face. The birds were singing peacefully and the skies were a joyful shade of blue with not a cloud in sight..that was until reality snapped back.

Andy snored quite loudly with his hair sticking up in every which way and his body half way off of the bed. His covers were bunched up and tangled between his legs and arms. Pillows were on either side of the bed and a few other things were scattered around on the floor. The alarm went off saying "It's morning! Time to wake up. another day to kill awaits!" repeatedly. This went on for a few minutes before it sunk into Andy's dream and woke him. He felt around and grabbed a knife off of the stand then stuck it into the alarm clock, turning the noise off. He sat up with his eyes cracked open a little bit then started to wrestle with the sheets and untangle them, which was a struggle for some reason. Finally breaking free, he tossed the covers in the middle of the bed then stood up and yawned then walked into the bathroom he had and started his morning duties. When he came out, a foul smell filled the air...something like a dead animal.

Andy hated disgusting smells and this was one of them. He quickly covered up his nose and slipped his shoes on then went downstairs to see what it was. "What the hell is that smell?" he asked looking at the people in the kitchen before he saw blood on a knife. "Holy shit, did you actually cook a..." wait a minute, this particular rabbit looked familiar. Andy inched closer to it and looked it over, it was definitely familiar but, he couldn't but his finger on it then it came to him. "You're about to eat Yukino's pet.." he thought for a moment about if he should save it or not. Yukino was a pain in the ass but, Andy kinda liked the rabbit. "Give me that," he said and snatched the part she ripped off then put it back down on the pan and took it upstairs to his room. He grunted at the bad smelling rabbit then opened his larger closet and took out an instrument then sat down beside the dead animal as sweet music filled the air. After a few notes, the animal began to get it's original color back and hop around a bit. As soon as the song was done, it was like the creature was never slaughtered to death and almost eaten. He stood up and picked up the rabbit then went into Yukino's room and placed it in there before closing the door back. "Nice way to start off the morning, foul smells and dead rabbits...greatttt." he said sarcastically. Andy took a can of air freshener and sprayed the air before going outside and standing next to Diyanna who was smoking. He managed to snatch a cigarette out of her box and started to smoke as well. "Thankya." he told her with a grin.

Seong—Min woke up, as he had for years, without the aid of his alarm clock. And he, as he had done for years, rolled over and switched off the alarm that he had set, just in case. He sat up and swung his legs over the side of his bed, letting his fuzzy brain straighten itself out.

Then he stood up and pulled on a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and his running shoes.

The living room was empty when he quietly slipped out the front door. For a group of people so obsessed with being in fighting shape, you'd think more of them would wake up early.

The long run cleared his head and the cold air woke him up. He picked a route he didn't often take, tree-lined avenues into a park that was seedier than it looked from the road. No-one bothered him, though, and he was able to prepare himself for the myriad things he would have to do that day at work.

When he returned from the run, a number of people had gathered in the kitchen. Seong-Min poured himself a glass of water.

"Smells good," he said to Dillan as he headed upstairs to shower, nearly with colliding with Andy as the man hurtled downstairs.

Yukino Hoshia

Yukino stared down at the bodies that littered the streets. Blood stained his shoes and a knife was in his hand, several of his friends laid dead and dying on the streets, the Royals men were still living. His family....his home...his life. They all were taken from him in a blink of an eye. He squeezed the knife and he drove it into a man's chest, those damn Royals. His plans were ruined because of them. He narrowed his cold green eyes as the man fell when he pulled out the knife. That was when he felt a gun to the back of his head. "Surrender now Yukino Hoshia." one of them said. Yukino smirked and dropped the knife before putting his hands above his head only for them to be cuffed behind his back.

The dream changed.

Yukino was spinning around in a office chair clearly unaffected by being caught. The same woman that had his life in her hands slammed down a file. "Now, Mister Yukino. The agreement is you work for us or you get to spend your life behind bars. The charges you face are 8 counts of murder of government officials, treason and terrorism, make your choice." she said sternly. Yuki knew the situation he was in was no joke. He sighed and stopped spinning. "I'll take the working with you Royals. It's obvious that you want me so bad~ So I'll go along with it and join you. On one condition." he looked at her with the most serious expression he could muster. "My friends go free." he said.

Yukino woke up gasping for breath as he shot up into a sitting position. The beeping from his computer seemed to calm him slightly. He had another dream from his past again, that bloody night. So many people from both sides were killed. So many of his friends perished, and those from the team he now calls family were killed by his own hands. Sure the techie felt guilt every bone in his body felt guilt. There was nothing he could do about it now. He pulled off the covers from his body and walked to his closet. He nearly tripped over something and looked down to see Usagi hopping around like she had no care. He sighed and picked up the snow white bunny and put her in her cage. He grabbed some random clothes and jumped into the shower. He came out changed in a random black tee-shirt with a random anime character on it, blue jeans and combat boots. He slipped his switchblade into his pocket and made his way downstairs to the smell of food.

He slid onto one of the bar stools and saw that several of his team mates had already awoken. The smell of bacon hit his nostrils but for some reason didn't say anything about it. His dream was still haunting him and he needed something to clear his mind. He pulled out his phone and started to play a game of Candy Crush.

Despite the lies he told himself, he was a murderer and as the former leader of The Royals called him a psychopath.

Aria Chen

Aria jolted awake, and took a while to calm her rapidly beating heart. It took her a moment to realize that her teammates were already clomping around downstairs. The first question that popped to mind was " why am I not the earliest to wake up?", and the second was " why the heck am I lying on the bathroom floor?". Sure enough, she could feel the cold tiles pressed against her cheek, and there was no doubt that they were going to leave an imprint. She got up and groaned, it felt like she had been clubbed in the head, with an cargo truck. Was she drinking last night? She cringed, no, she wasn't. She didn't even like alcohol.

She dragged herself to the shower and turned the knob of the cold water to the max, sighing in relief when she felt the headache easing up. After drying herself off with a towel, she changed into a black netted tank top with a lime green singlet underneath , black jeans and the typical attire of field agents- combat boots. As a last-minute decision, she pulled her black leather jacket of the bed post and tied it around her waist. It wasn't her most professional choice, she had to admit, but the laundry wasn't done yet. So it was either this or last night's outfit, which she still wasn't sure of what happened. Checking her mirror one last time, and disgruntled to see that the mark was still there for lying face-down for god-knows-how-long on the bathroom floor, she went out and shut the door behind her .

She wasn't used to seeing so many people awake, she never woke up this late.

"Good morning, everyone. Okay before any of you ask why the side of my face looks like someone was trying to play checkers on it, does anyone know why I was sleeping on the bathroom floor this morning?"

Starting up the coffee machine, she grabbed a mug, " And I'm making coffee if any of you want any, oh and thanks Dillan." She took one of the plates which Dillan had loaded with food along with her mug of coffee and took a seat on one of the bar stools beside Yukino, watching in amusement as Fox tried to barter her fresh rabbit for some bacon.

Early in the morning, before the light of the sun peaked to spread it's warm glow across the neighborhood, Alex had been up jogging down the foggy streets. She followed her routine of jogging 4 miles every morning, never missing her jog unless she was bed ridden by sickness. The quiet in the morning, before others were awake, when a few birds were making their calls and the sprinklers were buzzing on the lawns, gave Alex her most peaceful moments; here she could think without interruption. Jogging through the streets she kept a steady yet swift pace, swinging her arms as she made her way back towards what she had called home for the past 5 years.

Breathing deeply, slowing her pace as she rounded the next corner with their home coming in to view, she set her blue eyes back down to her black Nike Freerunners. The ryhythm of her breathing with the pounding of her shoes on the damp pavement was her favorite tension reliever over any Advil or shot of rum. Her lithe frame jogged slowly up the path to the front of the house, her figure concealed in tight black jogging pants and a black fitted hooded jacket. Her sleeves wrapped low over her hands, the hood of the zip up set deep and hanging low over her brow, concealing her face. She was not concerned of her house mates confusing her for a lost jogger as she entered their front lawn as most knew her daily regime and she followed it like clockwork.

As she entered their housing area her jogging slowed and eventually came to a slow walk, her hands reaching up to pull back the hood of her jacket to reveal her face. Her blonde hair was a tousled mess around her head but pushed back as she always jogged after first waking up and showering afterwards. She set her blue eyes on Diyanna, their leader. Although the woman was younger she held a lot of respect for her and she had helped her transition to the house go seamlessly. Alex paused and stopped by Diyanna, keeping out of the direction of the wind as the woman smoked. "'Morning Diyanna" she said with a nod. She glanced to the floor where a bird was lying close by...dead. She had a suspicious feeling of where it came from but didn't wait to investigate or ask Diyanna, even though by her look she knew who was responsible for it.

Alex continued towards the house, entering and making her way directly down the hall and towards the increasing strong odor of carbs and protein, specifically good old bacon. Alex entered the kitchen and glanced around at her working partners and house mates, running her hand through her hair to push it back off of her face. Her eyes glanced over Valeria making her favorite tea, Dillan playing chef for the morning and the lovely culprit for the delicious smells of fresh made breakfast, Fox who looked like there was traces of blood on her, probably from a fresh meal, Seong-Min drinking some water, one of the few who shared her passion for staying fit and healthy, and Aria, whom she came just in time to over hear offering to make fresh coffee.

Alex stepped in and made her way over to Aria, giving her a small smile. "I'll take a cup" she said. There were many things about Aria she enjoyed, which was rare for her to find interest or the desire to care for other people, even those she lived and worked with. Perhaps it was because she saw her younger self in her. Alex grabbed a glass from the cabinet, filled it with filtered water, then sat down next to Seong-Min to rehydrate herself, waiting for the coffee to finish brewing. She nodded to Min, raising her glass in the air for a toast before taking a sip. "Cheers, doc".

Ellie was a late sleeper. A very late sleeper indeed. Sleep was a wonderful thing, to escape reality, to pretend you were nothing for twelve hours. Except, if there were dreams. But tonight, Ellie was blessed with a peaceful, dreamless sleep. Pure heaven. She would always swear that when she woke up Ellie would remember those full twelve hours and the blackness and bliss of nothingness.

Giving a great big yawn and stretching her arms, she sat up and put her feet on the cold wooden floor, making her shudder. She showered and dressed, the usual works. Ellie was a newer member, and one of the youngest, but she didn't really care. Ellie made herself at home wherever she could. And this place was not exactly cozy, but it was lavish, and well furnished, and had a fully stocked kitchen. She wasn't going to go and complain about the fact that they weren't actual family or that she didn't feel exactly right in this place.

Ellie waltzed down the stairs with an elegant manner, as if she was the queen being introduced at the ball. Although, she did not dress like a queen. Denim jeans, a black T-shirt, some brown combat boots, and her favorite worn out leather jacket. Her hair was long and flowed effortlessly behind her. She was a beautiful sight indeed.

The smells of food wafted into her nose as she licked her lips. "Mnn. Who's cooking?" She grinned wildly, as if this was a joke. Ellie was not partial to coffee, it was much too bitter for her tongue but good when you wanted to stay awake. Ellie preferred tea. With lots of cream and sugar.

Ellie's gaze fell upon Valeria, who was making tea. Ellie didn't care which kind, she just wanted a nice hot drink. "Could you pour me a mug of that when you get the chance? Thanks, dear." Ellie smiled almost deviously at Valeria. Despite her being the youngest in this place, Ellie loved to call people 'dear' and 'hun'. Never in a loving tone, though, as if saying she was the dominant. Which she wasn't, of course.

Dillan finished making a third plate when Fox came in with a dead rabbit. He took the rabbit and put it aside with a raised eyebrow and gave her a plate of pancakes and bacon. He then saw Andy come down complaining about a bad smell and run off with the rabbit. Dillan sniffed the food and thought it was pretty decent. He began to make more plates as more people came in. She nodded at Aria recognizing her gratitude and slightly smiles to himself. Dillan notices Yukino acting distant and slides a plate next to him. Dillan continued to make plates for everyone in the kitchen or whoever was still asleep. After finishing Dillan turns off the stove and cleans up and then goes outside with a couple of plates. He sat next to Diyanna and puts a plate in front of her and gives one to Anthony and gets started on his. He pauses to notice the dead bird and recall if he made a plate for Renshii or if he was even up yet.

Fox grumbled under breath as she slowly gave Yuki's rabbit a belly-rub. After Andy had taken her prey to Yuki's room, the real pet had come wandering in. She liked the little guy so she had picked him up and fed him, giggling a little at the thought that Andy had put a wild rabbit in Yuki's room. The nerve of that guy. Taking her kill like that. If she were in a nice proper wooded environment , she would have cut his stomach open. As it was she was just going to eat her dull and practically inedible breakfast in peace. She stared at her plate with a barely concealed disgust as the rabbit decided it was time to get his ears scratched. After several minutes of taking wary bites of the meat and fruits, she pushed the plate away and stood up gracefully. She had a bone to pick with Andy. In a tranquil rage she strode out to the patio with Yuki's pet bunny. She stormed to him and her kill, barely noticing Diyanna. What the hell was his power that he could bring the rabbit back to life? "I 'm going to make a couple things clear." She said tightly," I consider you a teammate and thus it is my goal to ensure our joint success, but to do that you need to understand a few things." She studied his face for a moment and then continued without waiting for a response. "Firstly, I do not...Take others prey, I'm not sure what society's concept of that is but well," She placed Yuki's rabbit on the deck, " "This is Yuki's. I don't get the idea of prey as "pets" but I respect it as a rule. Secondly, never take away my prey again. I don't care that you thought it was Yuki's, I killed it, I skinned it, I cooked it. Where I come from I would be justified to rip your stomach open and take it back from there. And before you say anything, I know that's not how it works in your oh-so-grand civilization so don't get on that horse. Are we clear?"

Ryuu stood ontop of one of the larger buildings staring down into the city. It was calm for now, just how he hated it. Calm was never good, to him everything being calm meant there wasn't any danger. He sighed softly and shook his head before sitting down on the ledge of the building. "We need more chaos here, it's not as fun without it." Ryuu looked beside him looking to the scythe that laid flat on the ground then back to the city pulling his phone out and scrolling through a few things popping his email open. "Still hasn't read it. Hmph, idiot needs to find more time to read his mail." With this he closed the email screen and clicked on another app bringing up a window with a single red button on it. "Well. On the eighth day. The devil said... Let there be BOOM!" He shouted and pushed the button as a old Pontiac GTO exploded into flames. The man bursted out in laughter nearly falling off the edge. "And peace be gone." He said this only to get up and grab his scythe heading for the stairway that led down to the alley way.

Contexts of the Email:

Tech,

Remembered not to put your actual name this time. Haha! Told you I'd remember eventually. Anyways, concerning your co-workers. Have you gotten anymore information for me? Or are we still at a loss on their next move to 'protect' the city we live in? Assuming you still haven't gotten anything on them. Just figured I'd let you know about a little fun game I plan on playing later on. Called the boom project. Tomorrow morning I plan on setting off a little car bomb. To get things going you know? Anyways, after that car bomb I'll let things go around for a while and just when things seem settled I think I might blow up an apartment or two. You know the ones off the main street. I think the apartments are called "Norcrest Eastern" whatever it is thats the one I plan on making a few mishaps go on in. Well, Have fun! And remember to read your damn messages once in a while!

Crimson Rose

((Can't believe you guys didn't tag me or say that this started >_<))

Damned capacitor. F***. Sh**. !@^ %!$ &^@%#$

What if I...no, the voltage would never hold...ugh....

Ricardo rubbed his eyes and let his head droop until his forehead made contact with the workbench. He'd been up all night, and this modification hadn't come any closer to getting done.

Is it too much to ask for things to work?

He backhanded his empty mug that, ten minutes prior, held the remnants of his hot apple cider, sending the vessel sailing across the room to knock against the wall and drop into the corner. It was about time that he eat something, it might clear his head. Only time could tell if the socializing with his co-workers would help any more. They weren't always the most tolerable bunch to hang around, but at least they got the job done well.

But perhaps not well enough, and that's why this needs to get done.

A few sighs and a forced concentration of willpower later, Ricardo managed to drag himself upstairs to the kitchen, heaving himself down in a chair and pressing his weary face against the tabletop.

"Uuuuuuuuggh..."

Seong Min nodded to Alex and raised his water glass in her direction. "Alex." He liked Alex. She had always struck him as better adjusted than most of the team. Or less maladjusted, at least.

Not that he didn't have an enormous amount of respect for his teammates. But...was there someone outside yelling about a rabbit?

He distinctly made out the words "prey" and "take". Fox, then.

Seong Min made sure to wave away Dillan's offer of breakfast before he made him a plate. He was never hungry in the morning, especially for something so heavy. As good as it smelled, he was certain that if he ate it he'd fall asleep at his operating table. Not exactly good general practice. "Thanks, though," he added. He had a store of smoothies in the fridge, he'd take one of those with him.

Upstairs for a quick shower, then. He kept it short and very hot, determined to feel more like a person by the end of it. Afterwards he combed his hair, brushed his teeth, and dressed. He chose a dark blue blazer and black slacks, with a white shirt and no tie. Business casual, albeit with a very good suit. It suited his tall, slim frame well - and, he hoped, lent him some credibility. Was it odd that he didn't think a doctor should wear jeans to work? In any case, he wasn't doing backflips and sliding under tables, which is what he imagined the rest of them did every day. That and falling onto their knives. Stepping in front of bullets. Warmly opening their arms and saying, "Please, maim me."

Seong Min walked back downstairs and into the chaos. Nothing to do now but wait for everyone to be ready to leave. His seat was still there, so he sat down next to Alex.

Ricardo looked considerably worse than usual. "Late night?" he asked.

Diyanna jumped and instantly put her hands on the spot where her pocket knife lay in her bra, the bird dropped just a few feet in front of her Diya. Her brown eyes narrowed, already knew that it had been Renshii who killed the poor thing. Well, she wasn't about to clean it up. Sitting in a more comfortable position Diya mumbled to herself, ignoring as everyone woke up. When Alex walked by Diyanna gave her a small smirk and a wave before frowning at the bird on the floor. The smell of food the came from inside made her stomach growl, just as she was about to stand up and go inside she noticed Dillan walking out with food.

"I don't think he deserves to eat," Diyanna said playfully when she noticed him taking a look at the bird on the floor. The woman threw the cigarette onto the floor, putting it out on with the bottom of her shoe. Digging into the food Diya groaned at the delicious tastes melting on her tongue. Breakfast. Far better then any of the stiff food at I-HOP.

"At least someone thinks about feeding people!" Diya shouted loud enough for everyone around to hear, the smile in her tone was clear and for a minute Diyanna began to think about getting a drink or two before it was time for her to go see if there were any missions they could work on.

Valeria poured some of the hot water into her cup, dipping the tea bag in and out of it until the color of the water changed. When Dillan asked her if she wanted some, Val gave him a small nod of her head before getting some sugar. Grabbing a tangerine from the fruit basket Valeria looked over to see Ellie. The tone that she used with Valeria didn't sit well with her. Putting in a few spoons of sugar, she mixed it up with her tea until she could smell the small hint of sweetness in it.

"The waters hot, help yourself," Valeria motioned toward the pot of water before picking up her mug of tea, put her unpilled fruit on her plate of food. Sitting down at the table Val began to eat her food, watching as people entered in and out of the kitchen. She pushed a few pieces of short brown hair from her eyes then picked up her fork and began to eat her food. It seemed the tea put everything in a nice balance which put a small smile on Valeria's face. Having a nice warm breakfast in front of her always had her feel nice. Val peeled the tangerine in her hand while leaning back in the seat. Waiting until Dyanna informed everyone of any sorts of jobs, waiting for breakfast to end seemed like it would take forever. Of course when she looked out the glass slide door and seen how Dya scarfed down the food, it wouldn't take long.

Ricardo gave a scoff that sounded more like his throat turning inside out.

"Another all-nighter, and no progress. Two and two simply refused to make four. Filho da puta...damn project is killing my sleep cycle. I feel like I'm gonna pass out, but it needs to get finished..."

He was wearing the same outfit he had on yesterday, a pair of bootcut jeans, a graphic tee, his favorite fedora, and the fingerless gloves he used while working.

"So picture this," Ricardo starts, his voice sleepy and unmotivated, "I've got my discharging unit fitted into the assembly block, but the circuitry overloads the detonator and it fizzles out. So of course I go in and insert a couple of capacitors, right? But now the voltage is all being channeled to the processor! Man, I tried everything..."

Ricardo continues to ramble on and on about his trouble with his project, jargin and science lingo slowly dominating his vocabulary to the point where Seong is the only other person in the room who can understand him. He was about to mention his wish for high-quality power couplings, when Valeria said that the hot water was ready.

Practically leaping out of his chair, the Brazilian dove for the kettle and grabbed the nearest empty mug, filling it with hot water and producing a packet of instant cider from his pocket, tearing it open with his teeth and dumping the contents into the mug.

"Ciiiiiiideeerrrrrrrr~"
