Appearance: Out of costume, Edward is a slightly short man with brown hair and green eyes. He has a slim, agile build that secretly frustrated him as he has tried many times over the years to gain muscle to no avail. He has fair skin, fitting his mixed French and Irish heritage.
In costume, Edward wears what appears to be a set of medieval plate armour and carries a large shield. His armour is polished to a mirror shine, and the sword he carries appears to be something out of legend. Both are actually very modern, relying on advanced lightweight and durable metals to make it easier for him to wear. The visual effect of the perfect knight in shining armour is somewhat ruined by the utility belt and array of guns he wears, as well as the motorcycle he uses to get around. In deference to tradition, however, the motorcycle does have a metal horse head between the handlebars.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Motivation: Have fun, and uphold the ideals of knighthood. While the modern perception of chivalry and honour are a far cry from the truth, Edward feels obliged to live up to them as the only representative from his time period remaining. While he will always try to do the right thing and help those in need, most of his spare time is spent playing video games and finding new fun things to do.
Profession: Currently unemployed. Edward tends to build up large fortunes simply due to his longevity, but then stop making money and lives off his savings for a few decades. His most recent supply of money is nearly gone, which prompted him to find a sponsor and become an active Hero.
Interests and Hobbies: Currently his interest is video games. He skipped the beginning of them, but decided to go back and play through all the fun ones in order. He's made it up through late PS1 era. It is important to note that despite seeking fun as a primary motivation, he is not a hedonist.
Common Behaviours and Mannerisms: Like far too many people, Edward started smoking in the early 1900's. Unlike most people, he is immune to lung disease and so never saw the need to quit. Additionally, when he is annoyed he will insist on being called Sir. He is a knight, after all.
Personality: Edward tends to be very laid back. He has seen generations of friends come and go, and has long since grown used to it. Instead of stressing out, he just enjoys the moment. He is happy to talk about the past, but his memory isn't much better than anyone else's, and so often frustrates scholars seeking details.
Opinions: He was and remains deeply loyal to King William I, despite his many flaws. He will vehemently defend his King against anyone who speaks a word against him. This seldom comes up now, however. He doesn't particularly care for the United Kingdom or its monarchy any more, after a falling out with Charles II. He is a (very) old family friend of the Pelgan family of France (originally England), the descendants of the first man to kill him. He makes a point to visit every few years if he's in the area.

Lacking much experience, he would die three more times in the course of the battle, but recovered each time. After a few more years of service, Edward distinguished himself enough to meet King William, whom he revealed his nature towards. William knighted Edward and appointed him a member of his personal guard. Edward would serve the Crown loyally, even as it switched family lines, until an argument with Charles II. Edward would spend the next two hundred and fifty years travelling the world, before coming to the new world in 1854, where he stayed until the modern day. While the American government knows about Edward, an ill-fated attempt to capture him in 1936 ensured they wouldn't try again. He became a Hero only recently, seeing it as a good source of income and a chance to help people.
