They would be for an Avatar roleplay. The gloves specifically concentrate the chi into the hands and allows the uses to bend the elements that way. I love playing non benders. But of course there's the issue of not being useful in fights (roleplays specifically). I came up with weapons that would have been developed in Republic City by my characters father. Their called Energy Gloves. Each pair of glove is designed to bend any element using the user's chi. The problem with the gloves is that it uses the person's own Chi to bend the element causing them to become weak after prolonged use. And after extreme prolonged use, death. It's actually really simple. The gloves absorb the chi from the users body and converts it into energy. When ever you want to bend a different element you just have to concentrate on that element. The button on the too will glow and release a burst of chi, which will also change to be the color that symbolizes the element you're bending.
