The Pocket Place:
Information & Rules
First and foremost, a welcome to the Pocket Place, secondly we have some information and rules we need to depart to you upon your entry…
“Will a mind imprint work?”
“A mind imprint will work, just got to try and not fry the brain or processing centers…”
“…… Don’t kill anyone…”
Rules:
1. Firstly, nothing inappropriate, the “site” does not allow it. Nor will the owners or the realm. Alcohol is alright as this IS a bar.
2. Secondly, do your best to not let a confrontation break out in the bar area or games room, wait to settle the score in your own realms or in the Game Arena. Less a confrontation with the more dangerous owner happen.
3. Thirdly, though magical, the “staff” do not enjoy conversation. They can take orders and do their duties, but an enchanted broom, tray, and bar can only communicate so well. Apologies, but the owners can converse.
4. Fourth on our list, cheating in the game room will be met with subsequent punishment or forfeit of your profits and or bets placed or earned within. Apologies, but if you want to, try not to get caught. We hear some thieves lose their hands or fingers for punishments.
“There, anyone or anything who comes in will have that flash in the front of their mind and have knowledge of it as long as they are here, and no-one will die. Happy?”
“Very, now, don’t you have a gaming room to finish enchantments on?”
Information:
Here we divulge information about the place itself and that within. But first we must tell you about your hosts.
The Owners:
Ah the owners, brothers and twins, but not family. Yet so similar one could almost swear they were two sides of one coin. Let’s introduce them:
First we have Nekoshu, currently no known last name but he finds one unique name is good enough for one to attach to a face. He will often be the first face patrons will see upon entering this little pocket realm, a warm smile and a happy voice adding to their welcoming. The younger sibling of the two though he claims only by mere seconds, but his brother argues differently. He is also the nicer one of the two, far more kind than his brother, though a little bit more mystery too.
Now to Ekoshun, the older sibling. He’s far from Nekoshu’s hospitality, blunt and a bit to the point, especially if he harbors special hatred towards the being he is speaking to. He is a far more proficient shapeshifter than his twin, and far better in the magical arts as well. He runs a game room in the back of the building, and runs it a bit strangely, but then again the properties of the games require a strange ruling system given what he has done to them. He’s somewhat feared by those who know him… Once going by the name of Snow…
The two are a race of magically-sensitive shapeshifters known by the few with the knowledge as Kyuuseishus, a rare breed of shapeshifters that are magically talented from birth, and supposedly inclined towards the universal alignment of good. Becoming great forces for good or for the rare few who somehow break the imprinted good-will in their genetics, a force to rival heroes. Each brother has seen what happens and picked their sides, somehow still remaining family, of course with their problems.
The pair have come to an agreement though, to put aside differences and run this little place, Nekoshu handling the hospitality and Ekoshun running his own entertainment in the other room to make some form of revenue from this venture. For himself of course.
The Bar:
Ah the bar, the first half of the Pocket Place, more accurately resembling a lounge or club given how one can come in and get a place to merely relax or hang out, get some food served to you by a magical floating tray… Or actually come in and enjoy a good brew or wine. Checkered with tables and booths, even a few private rooms for meetings others are not to hear, it has a lovely atmosphere meant to calm the patrons. An ever-burning candle upon each table, comfortable chairs that one could fall asleep in, and places for all kinds of patrons. Not much else is there to say about it, other than the fact the kitchen is entered from behind the bar, the restrooms at the sides of the room, and a door beside the bar leading to Ekoshun’s Gaming room. The Bar often has a calming effect on it’s patrons, whether simply by its appearance, enchantments, or the owner is unknown.
