Character Details

Personality: Thomas is a man of the robe, serving the Gods above with a sense of passion. When you encounter this simple looking man, you will probably find him to be wearing a small smile of sorts. He speaks with a low, elegant voice, and speaks plainly. He's not one to show an ego, at least not obviously. It appears, at least to him, that his sense of self-worth was severed at birth. But he does have an ego, and it is in his mission. His priesthood comes with it a quest of its own, per se. Unlike many of his human brethren, Thomas likes to think he is unique for not being spiteful of other creatures. He finds the non-human realm to be fascinating to behold. He can be seen conversing with any type of creature, regardless of what may be considered "normal" by other human Aldurians.

This priest is not a hateful man, but he certainly has a feeling in his heart that may be construed as rather spiteful. The sentiment, alas, is directed at humanity. Thomas can show this feeling by being more critical of the doings of humans than any other creature. However, he is more optimistic of his approach to things. He rarely damns any happenings that are insulting, as he tries his best to ignore any material happening that may get to him. He has had outbursts, on certain occasions, when certain members appear to be demeaning towards him directly, or compare him as a traitor. It may have been the stress he was under at that time, but we will perhaps never know.

Strengths: Thomas is an ally, willing to support generously those in need. Additionally, he is genuinely kind to all, regardless of their race. This sort of attribute, as he likes to believe, can lead to a group cohesion.

Weaknesses: Positivity only takes one so far. In dire situations, Thomas can sometimes be stupidly optimistic. When not in the face of danger, Thomas is not one to make good small talk. He will bring up bizarre topics that are easily disinteresting.

Likes: Thomas likes anything from nature, from the obviously beautiful to the not so much. He finds the rural life to be rather satisfying as well. The Gods, to no surprise, are also a favorite of him.

Dislikes: The priest dislikes the destructive nature of humanity. This dislike can come in many forms, when it comes to war, or hatred, or the crowded and dirty city. Also, he has a strong dislike for those that forget the blessings of the Gods, or act with their own interest or under the guise of their emotions.

History: Thomas was born around 40 miles South of the current Aldurian locale. He was born into a poor family, one of five children (only three of which survived to adulthood, and two of which are still alive) to a farming peasant. They found themselves unable to grow a crop sufficiently, no matter how hard they tried. It was becoming dire, for both of them. They had very little, but now they were starving. Thomas felt that pain every day, growing with three, later two siblings. They rarely had anything to eat. Then, it got worse. Thomas' mother fell ill, and after battling with malnutrition and giving birth to five children, passed. Most strikingly, alas, the family seemed to not lose hope entirely. Thomas' father asked the Guard for anything to spare, to which they did not reply. With humanity having turned its back on the needy, it seemed as if they were to starve to death, their home become abandoned and their fields overgrown. Thomas' father decided to ask the ones that would listen, the Gods.

With outstretched arms, Thomas' father swore to the Gods that he would give his second son, his most prized, if that is flattering enough, to the clergy if they took mercy on him and his family. The Gods obliged, giving the father a bountiful and healthy harvest with his last seeds. The garden flourished, colored plants of many colors bloomed. But Thomas' father kept his promise. At the age of 11, Thomas was sent away to the clergy, who took the boy in with open arms. He was a gift, as his father described, and irrefutable proof of the divine authority. But Thomas sis not understand. He felt lost, troubled, confused even. How could his father simply give him up so simply? The priests perhaps senses this sentiment, and devoted much time to the new recruit to explain the glory of the divine.

By the age of 12, the growing Thomas had been indoctrinated with many scrolls. He had begun his education, learned how to read, almost knew how to write, but even more so learned about the history of the realm, and the creatures within it. If anything, Thomas gravitated towards this knowledge more than anything. Throughout his education, he became enthralled with their culture, and how innocent they seemed. But as he matured into the later years of his education, he became enlightened of their plight. He learned from his mentor, Father Strauss, that humanity had been terrible to those that were not human, and still were. For example, he had been taught of the wicked deeds of the Silver Legion, and how they had demeaned anything that was not human. It disgusted the young Thomas, and perhaps served to be his calling.

Upon completion of his general education, Thomas could officially qualify to become not a student, but a teacher. Ironically, this alteration to his education resulted in more of the same learning. Strauss, now well into his 60's, saw great potential in Thomas to be a true priest of active compassion. The way that he took to learning about the sins of humanity, it showed that he could perhaps be one to travel and administer words of advice, and acts of healing. So, Strauss took initiative to further his investment in scripture, but once a week, whenever he could, Father Strauss would teach him of the various roots, how to find them, and what they could do to benefit all.

By the age of 25, Thomas was given the rank of father, one of the youngest to be named. Of course, it was certainly a favor of Father Strauss, who had connections within the church to give the young man confidence. At this point, Thomas was told that his time in the safety of the church was finished, and he would embark on a great journey, to see many lands, many goods, and many evils. This would be a test of his education. With no money, no direction, and only a few words of advice, Thomas was told to venture, and come back only when he had seen the world differently. By no means would this journey be short, and there would be many trials to endure, many evils he would see and be tempted by. Many lonely, sick, needy, tired, pained, all of which called to him for answers.

The journey took very long, so long that he forgot the words given to him all those years ago. He would wake up, and imagine he were back in the clergy, where he had a nice cot, and be in the light of the divine every moment of his day. But in these heathen lands, he could see for himself the wickedness of the world. There are many stories to tell, many he would share if asked. But how could one possibly write of all that had happened in the seven years of a journey? As crazy as it may seem, it was on the eve of his 32nd birthday when he had the moment that made him realize the time was right to return. He had been smitten with am elven priestess from a small village. She was poor, but was leading him on in may ways. She approached him before, wishing to converse about the differences in scripture. They had grown rather close, so close that Thomas was nearly pulled from the priesthood so that he may marry her.

But what made him see the world for what it is is that one morning, where he nearly renounced his priesthood, she left him and never returned. She took with him her belongings, nothing, not a word. He was alone, and she was never seen again. The people of the village knew nothing of where she had gone, or never recalled her being there. Thomas realized that greed lived within all, even the pious. With greed comes suffering, and with suffering comes sin. With this lesson in hand, the priest returned, and recounted the even more aged Father Strauss. Needless to say, he was proud of his student.

For the next twelve years, the priest would travel to many places, but not for long. he would be asked to bless this city, baptize that child, and memories of the pain of his life faded. He lived better as a priest, and he felt that he would be one to bring light to this world. With faith in the divine comes faith in the fellow man.

Relationships: Thomas had a close relationship with his mentor in the clergy, Fr. Strauss, who has since passed.

Goals: He wishes to learn more about the wickedness of this earth, and what he may do to change it.

Fears: Thomas fears heavily for the future of the faith he abides to, whether it be due to the ignorance of the people he serves to influence, or the destruction of humanity that brings upon its downfall. He also is entirely uncomfortable and fearful of being burned at the stake.

Spells
Voice of the Woodlands
Nissinah is able to communicate with plants and animals of the forest. Animals are capable of fully communicating with her, but plants can only provide her with simple ideas or feelings. This ability allows her to better provide for the forest.

Nature's Abundance
Nissinah, like other dryads, is capable of growing from her body and plant that grows in her native forest. She couldn't grow coconuts, for example, but wild strawberries or blueberries and the like are fair game. This allows her to provide food or medicinal herbs for forest creatures and travelers or dangerous plants to deter or harm enemies.

Call the Beasts
Nissinah can call on nearby animals for aid. When she uses this ability, she lets out a call that can be heard by animals within a mile radius

Guardian of the Forest
Nissinah has the ability to transform into a hulking tree beast that is capable of taking on large foes that threaten her forest. While in this form her strength and speed increase, but at the cost of her awareness of herself. She becomes fierce and uncontrollable until she is calmed and is a danger to friend and foe alike until she reverts to her normal form.

Racial Abilities
Photosynthesis
Nissinah doesn't consume food for sustenance, instead she absorbs energy from the twin suns to produce her own food, like other plants do. So long as she has access to water and sunlight, she will remain healthy without having to eat.

Forest Stillness
When Nissinah sleeps, her body becomes indistinguishable from normal trees. She must be outside to do this, as she has to plant her roots in the soil to absorb water, but she remains semi-conscious and aware of her surroundings during this, which allows her to be a more effective guardian of the forest.

Weapons
Nissinah uses only her natural weapons and abilities in combat.

Armor
Nissinah's "skin" is made of magically hard bark, because of this she doesn't require armor to protect her in battle.

Training
Nissinah's centuries of experience guarding her forest home are her only training. She has fought off beasts that threatened the forest, humans who sought to cut down her home for timber, and plagues that have ravaged the plant life of her home.

Strengths
Physically strong
Very strong connection to nature
Guardian form

Weaknesses
Fire
Lack of sunlight
Very anxious and jumpy in high population areas (borderline agoraphobe)

Personal Details
Personality
Nissinah is a serene yet naive individual. She has seen little outside her forest home in the centuries that she's lived and it shows through her fascination with almost everything outside of it. She's socially inept and sometimes says inappropriate things without understanding what she did wrong, but she's incredibly kind and gentle a majority of the time. She is a pretty lonely person, as she has had few friends who have stayed with her during her life.

She has a side she keeps hidden except during the most dire circumstances, however. She is a guardian of nature and she will do anything to protect even the smallest of natural life. If she witnesses a threat to any natural element, even if it isn't one from her home, she will reveal how ruthless and bestial she can be, ripping apart threats without remorse or hesitation. This has scared away many of the beings she has thought of as friends, so when she's around beings that she loves, she tries to keep her fierce, protective side in check so as to not scare more people away.

Dislikes

History
From the time that Nissinah first sprouted in her forest home in the center of Landfall, she had one purpose: Protect her home and everything in it from threats both outside and in. It was tough at first, as a sapling she had no experience and very little power. Over the centuries, she learned how to harness her power and connection to the land to protect her home, becoming the fierce guardian she was supposed to be and in the process becoming a legend to the local peoples who lived in or near her forest.

Her first encounter with humanoid beings was when she was barely over the age of 20. A group of bandits had holed up in an abandoned cabin not far from the grove where she lived and were keeping prisoners for ransom. As it was her duty to protect all life within her forest that do not mean it harm, she attacked the bandits, killing a few and driving the survivors off before freeing the prisoners and delivering them to safety at the edge of the forest. Both the prisoners and the surviving bandits spread word of a powerful force of nature that had ripped men limb from limb without remorse.

After that, she swore to ensure the safety of even humanoid beings in her domain. She provided aid to lost travelers and the inhabitants of the few villages within her forest, usually from afar, only rarely revealing herself. She became a bit of a local legend in an elvish village on the edge of her territory that she became particularly fond of. She would regularly leave gifts of flowers or fruit in the night and send animals to play with children. She befriended a few of the elder members of the village to ensure that she was a safe presence and to swear her protection so long as they did no harm to the forest. It was through this village that Morgrim's letter reached the dryad. They delivered the news to her and before departing she called on the aid of a powerful forest being to protect them in her absence.

Relationships
Della--A small sparrow that has taken up residence in her tree-like body

Goals
To protect her forest home for the rest of her days and ensure its safety.

Fears
That her home will be destroyed by something that she failed to stop.

Nickname: Lara, short for Stellara

Race: Northern Half-Blood (Elf/Human descent)

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Hetero

Profession: Survivalist

Religious Affiliation: Servant of the Eight

Skills/Abilities

Class: idk help

Element: Light

Spells:
Goddess' Mercy- calling on one of the Eight, Lara can be granted the gift of healing upon someone else other than herself. She can chose to heal herself but only if the gods allow so.

"Nienna, Lady of Mercy, hear your champions plea.
Lend me your gift of life, so that Death may fear me. Pain, Suffering, and Harm grow weak at your sight. Bound to the depths of darkness, bring them to your light. Grace your child with a song of healing, show him/her the power of thee. From the snares and shackles of Death's malice, you shall be freed."

(More to come...just gotta think :P)

Weapons: Two handy axes. One is double sided, the other is a little smaller and can be thrown.

Armor: Lara doesnt have any fancy, metal armor. Shes only got the leather and fur that are bound to make the clothing on her back. Under the cloth she does have just one layer of chainmail....that she most likely stole from a dead guard or knight when her and other scouts went out raiding small villages.

20170930_082026.png
(With out markings)

Training: Her tribe/clan/village of people are scavengers. Wild, rough, and primitive people. They train every child, man or woman, to use at least one weapon. Some learn to use multiple, if they wish. Lara started with a sword, a basic weapon, then continued with axes, archery, knives, spears, and a shield. In that order. Shes most comfortable with axes and a sword, though she feels swords are too heavy and not ideal for traveling, so she sticks with axes. But her skills allow her to use an arsenal of weapons.

Other: She has a racial trait that gives her a great resistance to ice and frost but not complete immunity.

Appearance Details

Hair colour: Platinum blonde, almost white

Eye colour: A deep, vibrant, emerald green

Skin colour: Light/fair

Height: 5'2" (she can be a wild badass at my height =u=b)

Scars/Tattoos: She has many minor, tiny scars scattered all over her body from childhood injuries like tripping, falling out of trees, or even branches shes scraped against while riding. But she does have some prominent ones. One is a scar under her right eye, it vertically travels down about an inch onto her high cheek bone, just barely missing her eye. Another near the corner of her left eyebrow, moving towards her temple. The last one is on the far right side of her abdomen, its about a 3-4 inch line, a little thick, comes as a pair, with the exact same scar on her back, in the same place. As if something pierced her.

As far as tattoos? Read the 'Other' section.

Weight: 130lbs

Other: When Stellara is called upon to represent her gods and they grant her the magic she needs, markings appear on her face like the ones depicted in the first photo at the top. The more advanced the spell, more markings appear. So she can look like the photo above, or when using something more powerful, she can look like this....

Character Details

Personality: This young woman runs freely with a wild and youthful fire in her heart. Some may call her foolhardy and stubborn but the girl just knows what she wants. She is driven by her own wants and desires and wont let anyone make her feel otherwise. Lara wont let anyone stand in her way, and will physically remove them from her path if it comes down to it. Shes more brawn than brain, fueled by furiosity and the untameable spirit that resides with in her.
Lara comes from a large....tribe of people (for lack of a better term) that most people would see as barbaric and savage. She comes from a clan of loud and free folk, which reflects greatly on her. Being brought up and raised around warriors made her no different than them. Shes tough and unwaverying much like most of the young men and women where shes from. There, all members learned how to carry and wield a weapon, man, woman, or child, at a fairly young age.

In brief summary Stellara is highly impulsive, spirited, and loud. Her presence is always known in some way or form. Shes not shy at all, quite extroverted and pretty ignorant thanks to her sheltered life style being so far away from any other sentient intelligence and civilization. Shes a bit of a handful but a fun handful.

Strengths:

 • Strong and sturdy: shes a little small but shes no delicate flower
 • Mental strength and will: mind over matter; aside from being strongly driven with little to no chance of changing her position, her strong will can even convince her to ignore pain (for a time of course)

Weaknesses:

 • Reckless behavior
 • Doesnt bow easily to the advice, suggestions and opinions of others
 • Thinks with emotions (can be dangerous if angry)

Likes:

 • Fighting
 • Drinking
 • Speaking her mind
 • Traveling
 • Flirting/Making suggestive jokes
 • Doing as she likes
 • Working in teams (she doesnt mind being alone either)

Dislikes:

 • Warm/hot weather
 • Whining/cry babies
 • Liabilities
 • Pretentious people
 • Judgmental peeps

History: Lara was born and raised deep in the Northern mountains, secluded and deprived of other cultures and races. Of course words travel of these races and other stories but shes never seen any of them for herself, so in return shes quite skeptical of many of the things shes heard. The only one way to be proven wrong and thats to find out for herself.

Theres really no system of heirarchy in her large tribe of people, except for their one leader and his right hand men or women, after that there are just roles. Merchants, fishers, hunters, farmers, warriors, etc. Everyone is equal. Theyre a simple, unsophisticated people, no fancy castles with one designated army or established capital. Everything was trade and barter, and in times of defense (which was rare) eveeyone was called to arms.

Relationships: None

Goals: (Ill have to come back on this)

Fears: Drowning (she cant swim)

Other:

The Eight

History
Born as the heir to her mother's kingdom, Chrysalis was the first daughter of three in the Winter Court of the Fey. Her mother, a descendant of the famous Queen Titania, leads the frozen portion of the faerie realm, hosting Dark Fey, Winter Fey (of the ice and frost kinds), and Water Fey, as long as they can survive the temperatures of the Winter Court. Chrys' mother is a fearless ruler, but is incredibly strict towards not only her kingdom, but especially her daughter. From birth, the ice faerie was expected to be the perfect child for her mother and was punished should she do otherwise; she was trained at an early age on how to fight, how to utilize her powers, and how to use the art of dance not only for enjoyment but also in her battles. This was the majority of Chrysalis' upbringing, and it honed the young faerie into a quick, ruthless assassin that became her mother's pride and joy. She was not close to her two sisters as she grew older, and so the next several years did not faze the budding woman in the least.

As a fellow assassin, Chrysalis was prepared to fight when her home was attacked by Fey from the Summer Court. Because of her small stature, Chrysalis was mistaken by the Summer Fey to be the youngest of the sisters and was considered the least important target of the four in the royal family. Her father was never home and was thus not a target, but since the kingdom of the Winter Court was a matriarchy, the Queen and her eldest were the main targets. Her mother was Chrys' main concern and thus she defended her first, while her sisters had to fend for themselves and since they were the lesser skilled of the three sisters (Chrys was the most powerful and deadly of the three), they died quick deaths. The assassins quickly realized that they were outmatched by Chrysalis and that she was indeed the eldest, but they were unable to bring their information back to their leader since their heads were severed from their bodies.

After the assassination attempt on her life, Chrysalis' mother hired defenders for herself and sent her remaining daughter off to Landfall to draw the attention of the heir to the Winter Court away from her home. Since her mother knew King Riglov, she sent Chrys to serve him, and although she abhorred the man, she did as her mother wished, at least until she reaches her breaking point (which is coming up sooner rather than later).

Fears

On the Outside

Class
Executioner/Assassin

Element
Ice (Cryomancy)

Spells
Active
*Beyond the Veil
Chrysalis creates several shards of ice that hover in the air for mere milliseconds before bursting into thousands of pieces, creating a misty fog that conceals the area within a 20-foot radius, sometimes up to 30 if she's concentrating hard enough. This allows her to move within the cloud of mist without detection and also provides a blanket over sounds made within the clouded area, giving her allies the stealth they need to get by the enemy (or enemies). The cloud of mist/dust also suffocates enemies to a certain degree, giving Chrys and her allies another advantage over the enemies.
*Crystallize
Chrysalis surrounds herself in a cocoon of ice that briefly protects her from any and all outside projectile attacksand close ranged attacks that involve the use of fists and dull blades. For a few moments, she appears to be curled up into a ball within the ice, which speeds up the regeneration of her wounds, if she has any. Once she has been engulfed inside the ice for a minimum of five minutes, she breaks through the block of ice in a form that completely covers her entire body, giving her an increased amount of strength, durability, and stamina for a short span of time (10 minutes on average, 20 if she's pushing herself).
*Shatter
Chrysalis absorbs all attacks or remains from her attacks into a compressed ball that she levitates between her hands for a controlled amount of time before she launches it towards a target, the small sphere about the size of a snow globe before it hits the ground and explodes into thousands of small ice shards (similar to icicles) that pierce everyone in the surrounding 10 foot radius to a severe degree.
*Cage of Ice
Chrysalis reaches down and touches the ground lightly with her fingertips, causing a light frost to spread across the ground and touch the feet of those in the area, granting her allies more speed while causing her enemies to be rooted in place as the ice grabs hold of their legs, keeping them held down to the ground until they are able to break out of the ice (the ice remains even when Chrys stops touching the ground with her fingertips, giving her time to escape or to make a move).
*Flight of the Enemy
Water is within everyone, and thus it can be frozen. This ability requires the majority of Chrysalis' energy, allowing her to freeze the blood within a person and thus levitate them and do whatever she pleases with that particular target, including puppeteer them to do her bidding. However, they do turn blue after a certain point (maybe half an hour to an hour into it they begin suffering from frostbite).

Passive
*Ice Manipulation
Chrysalis can manipulate ice without the presence of water. Ice is a part of her and always will be, regardless of water presence and temperature (although ice becomes pointless in extensive heat).
*Near Immortality
While she is not immortal, Chrysalis does have the racial ability to live a very long life and is immune to most illnesses. She can be killed, however, just as a human would be (significant wounds to the vital areas). However it is harder to kill her with those wounds simply because of her regenerative health.
*Health Regeneration
She naturally heals faster than humans and the presence of ice speeds up the process.

Weapons
Since she is entirely magic based, she does not use weaponry other than the shards of ice she uses as claws on her fingers (the manipulation of ice comes completely naturally to her and is thus not a spell).

Armor
Her dress, while it may look fragile, is built with the strength of glaciers - it's made of incredibly hard, near-impenetrable ice that would weigh a normal human down by about 50 lbs., but feels light as a feather to her.

Training
Disregarding her status back in the Faerie Kingdom on Skyshard, Chrysalis trained under the best of soldiers in their army, learning how to utilize her powers to end lives quickly and without much bloodshed. Her mother was the leader of said soldiers and taught Chrysalis everything she knows. Three hundred years has given her plenty of opportunity to learn and utilize her knowledge. She knows everything about the anatomy of every species ever written into a book, and uses it against her opponents.

Hair Colour
White

Eye Colour
Silver

Skin Colour
Incredibly Pale (almost white)

Height
5'1"

Weight
101 lbs.

Scars/Tattoos
Swirls that represent Chrysalis' maturation into a woman are present on her left and right arms, trailing down her bicep/tricep region. The female has no scars as of yet.

Aerendal Vaneiros

Nickname:
Aeren
(Pronounced "Ehr-ren")

Gender:
Male

Age:
Twenty-Five

Race:
Lythari | Beastkin

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

Element:
Water

Profession:
Adventurer

Class:
"Magic Knight"
(A sword-wielder who also uses magic)

Training:
Much of Aerendal's training comes from family. Training with Faelyn and Vesryn contributed to most of his current-day knowledge of magic, archery, and sword-fighting. The years after he fled Felnethyr allowed him to learn how to be cunning and have his wits about him, though, so combat is not the only thing he's learned over the years.

Physical Characteristics

Hair Style:
Messy and unkempt, Arendal's hair reaches down to the nape of his neck in voluminous flattened waves.
[Example]

Hair Color:
Dark Chocolate Brown

Eye Color:
Ice Blue
[Photo]

Skin Color:
Soft Ivory

Height:
71.1 in. | 180.6 cm.

Weight:
154.8 lbs. | 70.2 kg.

Body Type:
Mesomorph | Trapezoidal

Tattoo(s):
The elven rune for "water" is on the left side of his chest, a little below his collarbone.

Scar(s):
Aeren's body is littered in scars from over the years. They range from puncture wounds (from weapons such as arrows and spears) to lacerations (knives, swords, etc.) to bites (guard dogs, rabid dogs, wild animals, etc.), but nothing too serious as to hinder his abilities.

Other:
‣ Dark brown wolf ears
‣ Dark brown wolf tail

Mental Characteristics

Likes:
‣ Drinking
‣ Helping others
‣ Reading
‣ Sword-Fighting
‣ Wolves

Dislikes:
‣ Being restrained
‣ Dwarves
‣ Killers-for-Hire
‣ Thieves
‣ Those who take advantage of the weak

Goals:
To bring justice to Felnethyr.

Fears:
‣ Becoming what he despises
‣ Failure
‣ Fire

Personality:
Aeren is a man of honor and integrity. He strives to be the best man he can be in a world full of death, hatred, and deceit. Killing is a last resort to him, but he is willing to do what needs to be done to protect himself, the ones he cares about, and those who cannot defend themselves. He has a caring, kind heart, but he's not afraid to dish out some anger and resentment towards those who deserve it.

Intelligent is one of the qualities that describe him rather well. Aerendal is good at thinking on his feet and calculating the odds of difficult situations to determine the best route. He spent a lot of time reading when he wasn't adventuring or practicing his magic or sword-fighting.

History

yasbvz67

History:
Aerendal Vaneiros—formerly Aerendal Dakian—hailed from the small elven kingdom, Esloviel. His parents were Elisven and Elyon Dakian, rulers of the small kingdom. Unfortunately, due to complications during his birth, Elisven, his mother, passed away before he could even lay eyes upon her. In anger and hatred towards the babe, Elyon left the newborn in the hands of the nurses, abandoning the young Aerendal.

Overcome with pity for the newborn baby, Folre Vaneiros, brother to the now-deceased Elisven, took the child into his home and raised him as his own in the kingdom of Felnethyr. He grew up alongside three Vaneiros-born sisters and three Vaneiros-born brothers. Other than the usual bickering between siblings, the family was rather happy with each other, and Aeren felt as though he belonged. His favorite sibling, however, was Faelyn Vaneiros, the eldest sister. They both enjoyed reading, archery, sword-fighting, and practicing magic. And as the years passed by, their bond grew stronger and stronger.

Folre and Aerith Vaneiros, the King and Queen of Felnethyr, had multiple political matters to attend to, including maintaining friendly ties with the dwarves. The Lythari and the dwarves didn't always get along, but the rulers of Felnethyr knew that battling the dwarves would be an unwise move, so they only strengthened their relationship with them rather than wound it. So the king and queen went on regular meetings with the dwarven council to discuss varying topics, such as trade, crimes, etc.

On one such trip to one of these meetings, the king and queen found themselves raided by a band of angry dwarves. The warrior-king fought to save him and his lovely wife, but it was to no avail. The attack was unexpected as they were treading on supposedly neutral territory where no blood was to be shed. And thus, the kingdom of Felnethyr was ruler-less.

The eldest of the Vaneiros name, Faelyn Vaneiros, took to the throne almost immediately, leaving Aerendal alone. The boy could no longer practice with the young princess queen now that she had numerous, more important matters to attend to day and night, not to mention learning how to rule a kingdom. So the boy began practicing with Aerith's brother, Vesryn Rychell. The man was a rough, hard-skinned warrior who harbored many combat skills. His skill in weaving magic into his sword-fighting was unparalleled. And so, Aeren began to learn as much as he could from his aunt's brother about being a "Magic Knight."

Until that terrible night.

It began while he was walking the castle's halls. A restlessness was keeping him from the blissful darkness of slumber, or perhaps it was a god just keeping him alive. Because when he heard the screams, his blood chilled and he ran towards the source. In everyone bedroom, he found the burning, charred bodies of the last of his family, barely squirming and thrashing at the hungry flames that licked at their bodies. He ran to his brothers and sisters with the intention of saving them from death, but it was too late. Whatever flame was eating their bodies was not natural, and it devoured their corpses in mere minutes.

It was then that he saw one of his sisters, still alive. Alannis, twin sister to his favorite Faelyn. He knew immediately that she was the murderer. The crazed grin and the hungry eyes said it all. He was too afraid to confront the female, however. His skills and abilities weren't honed well enough to take on such a sadistic, cruel person. And when Alannis began attacking Faelyn and pinned the murders on the young queen, Aeren knew there was nothing he could do as the guards yelled "Traitor!" And so, overcome with cowardice, Aeren fled.

Aerendal fled the castle, fled Felnethyr, fled the northern elven land of Landfall. His heart ached and his legs burned and his lungs caved. He felt nothing and everything all at once, all the time, and never at all. The betrayal and the grief was too much for the boy. He pushed aside his morals and began stealing from vendors and shops, staying alive from the scraps of food he managed to scavenge. Until a few years later, the young man was caught by the Silver Legion. He was shackled and chained and beat as the sadistic and self-righteous men escorted him and their other prisoners to the dirty slave mines of Ellanor.

Once he arrived, the Lythari was whipped to the guards' content. His flesh ripped and red liquid dripping down his back and legs, the young man was forced to mine. And mine.

And mine.

And mine.

And mine...

And as he chipped away at the land with his dull pickaxe for—he couldn't remember how many days, months, or even years it had been—, he only hoped for one thing:

Faelyn Vaneiros, please be alive.

Class System

Equipment:
‣ Rogue warrior-type armor
[Photo]
‣ Elven longsword [Photo]
‣ Canteen full of water

Strengths:
‣ Adventurous
‣ Considerate
‣ Intelligent
‣ Observant
‣ Patient

Weaknesses:
‣ Alcoholic
‣ Large Target
‣ Prejudiced
‣ Soft-Hearted
‣ Trusting

Abilities:

[In order of amount of control and priority]

Water Healing ➛Aeren can heal his self or others by absorbing water molecules and transferring medicament into the body at a molecular level, or by having water molecules to repair and regenerate damaged cells and molecules.

Water Aura ➛ Aeren can release and surround his self in and/or with water for defensive and offensive purposes. This spell grants him various abilities and attacks, when applicable. The aura can sometimes give Aeren enhanced physical capabilities such as speed, strength and durability, whenever he deems these enhancements necessary.

Water Augmentation ➛ Aerendal has the ability to change the amount of water that's present in an area. If he has a canteen that is running low, he can use this ability to increase the amount of water molecules to fill the canteen once again. However, larger bodies of water, such as lakes and ponds, are much harder to manipulate, so he has significant trouble with drying up ponds or increasing the levels of watering holes.

Blood Manipulation ➛ Aerendal can create, control, and manipulate the blood of himself, others, or from his surroundings. However, he almost never uses this ability because he feels like it's too torturous, and the ability itself drains his energy at an alarming rate. Not only this, but the amount of concentration it takes to control other beings makes him nearly entirely vulnerable to outside attacks.

Hell Water ➛ Aerendal can generate and manipulate the mystical water of the underworld. The color of the water varies in color, but is usually shades of blue and black. The water isn't generated, but instead is summoned from the planes of hell itself. Hell Water can cause excruciating pain upon contact, "scorching/melting" the skin and liquefying one's insides, or cause undesirable disease. Its harmful properties are similar to that of lava or magma, but its movement and flow is reminiscent of that of normal water. If Aerendal uses this spell, it would be to take out large crowds or to block the path of or trap enemies. Due to the extremely large toll Hell Water takes on his energy—and even to his physical body—and the man's ethics and morals towards "burning" people alive (and not to mention his significant lack of control of the spell), this ability is used as one of Aeren's very last resorts.

Alongside these abilities, Aeren possesses the general magic to manipulate water to his will, such as moving it from container to container, forming it into shapes, and simply just bending it to his will.

Skills/Abilities

Class
Magic User

Element
Though he dabbles in almost all kinds of magic, the arts of necromancy continue to beckon him. He has gotten very talented at using Necromancy to not only raise the dead, but to use the power within the dead to cast very powerful destruction spells.

Spells
Passive/Basic Magic
Animate Dead: Raise the dead from the cold dark. The number and strength of the horde depends on how long they've been dead, and how many dead are around
Shadow Bolt: Launches a bolt of darkness at a single foe. This spell is weaker in bright light, yet strengthens in the dark
Anti-Magic Shell: If cast properly, this creates a temporary anti-magic shell around the caster. While powerful, the caster cannot use magic within the circle.
Sleep: Puts a group into a deep sleep, though non magical (can be woken up by shaking or getting splashed or something). The stronger the victim, the more they can resist

Advanced Spells
Death Wave: Sends a wave of darkness, filled with the lost souls of necromancy upon an opponent. Anything undead or constructed won't be effected by this (or the caster)
Fly: Enabled the user, or one person, to fly for about an hour. Perhaps a bit longer if the power is right.
Globe of Invulnerability: Generates a globe that protects the caster from harm from physical attacks. Of course, once the caster steps from the circle the spell is broken.
Life Siphon: Drains a victim's life force to strengthen the caster's own. This spell is best used on opponents that can't move around or attack the caster while the spell is going.
Animate Dead Mark II: Create constructs or horrors out of undead. The more around, the better things this can create (bone dragons, ect). This also gives potential to the soulless minions (if you raise a powerful knight, the skeleton will be stronger). This requires a great deal of strength and energy.

Weapons
Long staff that contains and strengthens his own spells, and deflects and absorbs enemy spells (not entirely). Other then that, he has little to no fighting abilities/

Armor
His Robes have special enchantments that protects against arrows and other projectiles, though it isn't a complete defense. His staff also is used as a magic barrier, but it can really only save him from shocks of magic, not a direct attack.

Training
Elodin has had a brilliant education and a powerful training scheme, however he was kicked out of both his school and his arcane studies for his fascination in the dark arts of necromancy. Shunned by his once rich family and fiends, he was left to wander the world. He knows much about the arcane, especially for such a young man but is still far from any master.

Character Details

Personality
He is typically sarcastic and crude, however among allies he is known to come out of his shell and be a bit more joyful and fun. Though he masks it with pride, he is actually very shy of people-though he loves conversation. He has a hard time talking to people and is slow to trust, because of his evil that he hides from most people. He is typically very flaky and almost afraid of alliances, and gives his support to very few, and almost always in his own self interests. However, if he meets people he really likes, he will fight with a fierce loyalty that few can match.

If given the opportunity he would sell his soul for magic, as it is the only thing that he cares about. His goal is to of course become the best magi in the world, but he continues to struggle in the fact that his magic type is typically shunned. He wouldn't give up Necromancy, but of course would never openly talk about it (except to another master) or tell people how much he actually uses it.

Strengths
His magic is very powerful for such a young age, power that rivals even masters. He is very adept in the art of Necromancy, as well as his abilities to launch destruction on his foes. While his conjuration can use some work, he is still quite a foe to be reckoned with, his strong wit and quick movements paving the way for his magic to be effective and deadly.
Weaknesses
He is a horrible fighter, with very little strength and even lower constitution. He has based his traveling and combat supplies around his defense of magic and projectiles, even outside forces-though nothing can cripple or defeat him faster then close combat. His physical well being can very much effect his spellcasting

Likes
Power, Knowledge, artifacts, mysteries, unknown

Dislikes

Meddlers, or anything that gets in the way of his magic. Fighters

History
What more could a young child who got everything he ever wanted...want? Perhaps there's a rational explanation to Elodin's craving for power, but it seems to be very strange for any onlooker. He left the greatest magic school in the world, as well as a wealthy family for necromancy-a dark school with little knowledge of it left over. Perhaps it was the call to power he loved, or perhaps it was the mystery behind it. Either way, he left all of it to search the world for magic and knowledge that will further his own.

As of now, he travels as a scribe and translator, secretly robbing and reading secrets and anything he can get his hands on. His biggest prize was taking the staff of a powerful archmage, killing him, and then of course raising the body. Though he disposed of the mage, an "experiment" gone wrong, he had to soon flee as suspicions of him began to arise. Now he continues to wander, looking for magic and knowledge, and perhaps a purpose.

Personality
Cold as ice. What else did you expect? She does what she's told without much argument, focuses on the logical aspect of things, and prefers to do things in a concise, clean, and elegant manner. Her mind only works in that one way, at least according to those around her. She keeps a thick, icy wall between herself and others, especially King Riglov, whom she serves as an assassin and adviser. Some, however, have hammered away at the wall with a pick, but most were too blunt to get very far. Her inner shell consists of emotions she refuses to consider, such as love, surprise, happiness, etc., and she refuses to let anyone enter it.

Someone is being rather persistent though... *cough cough* Theo *cough*

With shadow cloak, as long as she's within or near a shadow she becomes practically invisible. You can't hear her movements or see her shadow. Doesn't really work during the day time, but she still manages.

Healing Abilities
Estella can heal almost any injury, as long as they are in a spring of water and the moon is out. She cannot bring people back from the dead, though she can bring them back from the brink of death. This also takes a lot from her so she can become very weary.

Personality
Estella is known for her intensity. She's a determined girl that absolutely throws herself into whatever she does, never moving on until she finishes. However, she doesn't like being forced to do anything. You have to make it sound like something she'd want to do. She has a mind of her own, always trying to do more than what she was tasked with. Perhaps even trying to do too much more than what she was tasked with.

The young elf has plenty of willpower, being able to sit and wait to get whatever it is she wants when the moment is right. She has a knack for timing things correctly and she knows it. She's very calculative and can often come up with a plan quickly and pull it off. Her mind doesn't always work the way everyone else's does, giving her an edge in this department.

She never gives up. She's not really intimidated by anybody or anything, either making her really brave or really stupid. She isn't the type of person to share her life story with you but, if you ever get close enough, you'll probably be in awe at all she's gone through. Trauma seems to follow her wherever she goes and in her eyes, it only makes her stronger.

When it comes to the social aspect of her life, she's a tough nut to crack. She won't tell you about herself unless you ask and even still, her answers can be kind of vague. She doesn't trust people easily and it can really show when she fights along side them. As a defense mechanism, she may use flirty tactics to try and distract you from getting too close. She's a pretty girl and will use it to her advantage. If one does manage to get close, she'll always care about them and will do any and everything in her power to make sure they're okay.

History
Estella's birth was an interesting one. She belonged to a noble family of elves who always had a problem conceiving a child. Once they had, their hearts were broken to find out she was still-born. One of the maids had taken her to a spring of water while the moon was shining and it seemed to have brought her back. She was now, in some sort of way, connected to the moon, it being the source of her powers.

Growing up, her life wasn't all that difficult. She was taught the things that would come in handy for her, it all having to do with fighting. Her father and mother both had difficulty deciding what to teach her, therefore her father taught her combative skills and her mother more lady-like things like art and dance and such. It wasn't until the Silver Legion took over that things took a turn for the worst.

Her parents were killed in the cross fire of it all, leaving her alone and with no choice but to join the resistance. From then on, she worked hard to avenge her family's death. She became one of the best and most notable rangers, due to the poisons she liked to mix up. Until she avenges them, she doesn't think she can move on and be a happier person.

Personal Details

Name: Lasiol Novom

Race: Changling

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Profession: Thief turned circus performer

Other: None

Skills/Abilities

Class: Acrobatic brawler

Element: Deception

Spells-
Change form - more a natural ability than a spell. She can take the form of any humanoid creature.
Darkvision - Another natural ability of the black eyed changlings. Their eyes can adjust themselves to see perfectly in any level of light.

Weapons: She has a pair of steel gauntlets she used to add some power to her punches, she's dangerous enough with her bare fists
Ambrose_Cestus.png
Armor: "Contortionists Touch" Is a set of fairly normal set of workers attire, its simplicity helps with changing into either gender. Its enchantment help her flexibility, allowing her to contort her body in more ways to help her hide in places.

Training: Not much professional training, its all skills she's picked up. Apart from her acrobatic skills, she was taught those in the circus. However she's skill a good fist fighter, and can hold her own against foes with weapons and shields.

Other: She has 2 fake doves on her waist. These used to belong the old ringleader. He had a trick where he would "bring them to life" of course it was a slight of the hand trick. She keeps them as a memento.

Appearance Details

Hair color: White

Eye color: Black

Skin color: White

Height: 5 foot 2

Scars/Tattoos: None

Weight: 80 kilograms

Other: Her hair is normally always messy when shes not taken another form.

Character Details

Personality: Lasiol is a pretty laid back person when she's not doing anything important. She generally believes in a calm and relaxed, albeit slightly lazy way of living , when it comes to ones free time. However she is very much dedicated when it comes to ones work or how they actually make it in life. She believes in a "work hard, play harder" mentality. You work hard on what you do and do whatever you feel like doing in your free time. So overall she's a socially calm and laid back person, as well as energetic. Whether this has anything to do with her tomboyish nature is up for debate.

When she's in public she doesn't act out of line, preferring to just let people go about their day. But if she see's something she deems to be out of line then she'll step in to help. She has a certain disdain for nobility, not a hatred, because she doesn't like basing the actions of a few on many, apart from the legion. She has a soft spot for the poor and downtrodden, as she knows what it feels like to be in their place. For all her more calm points however she can be very confrontational when she wants to be. Whether its someone fighting with words after boasting about something or just generally being incredibly annoying. Once again however, she isn't a cruel person, she loves a good time in a local tavern, be it drinking, dancing or both.

Strengths
Highly skilled in hand to hand combat, can hold her own without conventional weapons.
Quick on her feet, given her past as a circus performer she's learned how to move fast, to keep the crowd entertained. She ties this in with her hand to hand combat.
Amicable, she's friendly and easy to talk to, if not a little extravagant.
Weaknesses (Same number as strengths)
Bit of a short temper, she can get fed up a little easily.
Short combat range, she has to get up close and personal.
Unarmored, she has to wear little armor as its shape could get in the way of her transformations, so she chooses to wear more loose clothing.
Likes
-Drinking
-Dancing and singing
-Brawling
-Merciful people

Dislikes
-People who fight with words
-Picking on the poor and downtrodden
-Elitists
-Zealots, she doesn't hate religion however.
-Being flirted with

History: Lasiol was born in a fairly large town down the way from Grim Hallow. She never knew her biological parents, even her adoptive parents knew little of them. Apparently Lasiol was just found as a baby on the outside of town, the coat she was draped in to keep her warm was speckled with blood however. Her "adoptive" parents where not the most pleasant people, what with the mother being a woman of the knight and the father being a drunken militia man who fancied himself an actual soldier.

Her parents knew full well of Lasiol's abilities. They would tell her to take the form of other local children in order to steal things, as their family was poor. She however did not enjoy this, as the other children would often get in trouble for actions they didn't do. Her mother even planned that once Lasiol came of age she would be taken to the brothel. Advertised as an "Exotic Girl". However, the worst thing by far was the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father. On many occasions her father would come home drunk and take out a knife and threaten Lasiol with it. Holding it to her large, black eyes and saying "Maybe i should cut out the big pieces of onyx and sell them". Her mother did very little to stop it, only being concerned that it would make her less pretty for the brothel. This is the reason she hates using knives.

However, eventually Lasiol's salvation would come in the form of a travelling circus. For by this time Lasiol had turned back to thievery, using her abilities to steal from others. She would often turn into travelers, so they wouldn't be around long enough to feel the wrath of the locals. Of course when she saw the circus come to town she saw an opportunity. A circus was bound to have gold or other valuable items with them. She saw the ringleader, she was an elf. She took his form and snuck by everyone without question.

She eventually found the strongbox, however she didn't have the key. Shortly after this a voice rang out behind her. "Looking for this?" the elf said, swinging a key around his finger. She gave up and dropped her disguise. Before she could raise her fists, or even speak, the elf interrupted her. Offering her a position in the circus. She would be a godsend, all she need was an outfit and she could just change her body to fit the role. They would teach her the ropes and the acrobatics. She thought for a moment. This place was here home, but it was still a hellhole. She agreed, and didn't look back.

She lived with the circus for the majority of her life. She came to form a string bond with the other performers and the circus became fairly wealthy, travelling around and performing for whoever would watch. However, one year they had to pass by Ellanor, the silver city. They knew the dangers of doing so, when a good half of the circus wasn't human. Their fears where confirmed when some knights of the silver legion chased them. Rather than running, the circus put on a final show. They fought the knights with every bit of fervor they had. The strongman, being an orc helped greatly. But one by one the performers fell. In the end it was just Lasiol and the Ringleader. The elf put his hands on Lasiols shoulders and told her "Run, as long as you live, the show goes on". She did as he said and ran.

Now, she spends most of her days wandering, or getting jobs in local taverns, performing or working as a waiter from time to time.
